We booked an 18 day tour of China with Wendy Wu and were delighted to to be going on the holiday of a lifetime. A week later and the Corona virus situation unfolded. As things got worse it became apparent that the holiday was in peril. The foreign office then declared no non essential travel. China was in shut down, our travel insurance was now invalid yet Wendy Wu refused to refund the holiday which had been paid in full. Their customer service was shocking. Many phone calls with them consisted of delaying tactics and diverting blame to airlines and anyone else who came to mind. Our flights were then cancelled by the airline yet Wendy Wu continued to say this was normal and we could reschedule and go another time, anything to avoid cancelling. They point blank refused a full refund. In the end we cancelled and lost all of our deposit. Can't believe how we were lied to and treated by the reps. We travel the world extensively and Wendy Wu, on paper, looked like our go to operator from now on. Let's just say our opinion has changed.

The tour guide and driver came on time to pick us from our hotel.Jack our tour guide spoke very good English and very knowledgable about Qingdao history and visited venues.We visted beer museum and had two glass of beer and some tibits there.Later in the afternoon our guide took us to a seafood restaurant for lunch and we were served clam dishes.We managed to complete our trip according to our planned itinerary except swimming in the sea which is one of the things to do in Qingdao.

Our Private Tour of Xi’an Terracotta Warriors was amazing our Guide Linda and Driver from Wendy Wu were excellent Linda spoke very good English was very friendly efficient knowledgeable and gave us a 5 star experience 😍

We are a family of 4 with 10 and 12 year old daughters. We booked our holiday not knowing it was going to be during Golden Week. The busiest week of the year as everyone is on holiday (the plus side is the air quality is better). Our tour of Tianenmen Square was with 680,000 others. Jeffrey our guide advised us to get there early and he helped us manouvre to the quieter areas. He's also great at taking photos!. Again with the Great Wall of China Jeffrey and his driver Mei Jun picked us up 7am to beat the crowd. Mei Jun was a very safe, friendly and patient driver. Jeffrey and Mei Jun made what could have been a bad experience a very good one.

This is one for those who enjoy physical theatre at its best. Traditional yet fast-flowing with some amazing coup-de-theatre effects.

Amy was Excellent-on time and very knowledgeable! Had a great tour and lunch. Amy made adjustments for our needs as well. Would highly recommend!

I have just returned from Wendy Wu Charming China tour. The Shanghai ERA Show was merely the final major item on a busy tour. It was a great performance. Our national guide was Cathy Lee, who was not only personable, courteous and good-humoured throughout our 13 days in-country, but also proved to be a very able tour leader and manager. Nothing was too much trouble for Cathy. All of our group agreed that, thanks to Cathy, we had had a great experience of China. I strongly recommend Cathy.

Whilst touring China with Wendy Wu one of the attractions was the Acrobat Show which was really brilliant. The Show lasts about an hour and our group were very lucky to get seats at the front. After the show went for our farewell inner of Peking Duck. It was a fitting end to what had been a great but very tiring two weeks touring around China.

We have literally just returned from the tour entitled "in pursuit of pandas" with Wendy Wu and words can't describe how much we enjoyed the holiday. From start to finish Wendy Wu arranged everything and took care of every detail. Our tour guide Jacky was truly a credit to the company looking after all of us and making us smile. All of the local tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful as well especially Penny who's cheeky sense of humour made us all fall in love with her. This tour covers everything on your bucket list from standing on the great wall to viewing at the splendour of the terracotta warriors. It also gives you so much more from local shows to cultural experiences like a walk in the park where locals play Mahjong and dance. You do need to be prepared to embrace a busy schedule and a whole new culture (and squaty loos!) You will also make new friends and our group bonded like a family to make our tour extra special. Go with an open heart and you will have the experience of a lifetime.

Simon our tour guide on arrival in Beijing airport was very welcoming. He had water ready for us in the car as it was very hot. And that set the tone for the rest of our trip. Simon is very knowledgeable of the history of all the historic sites he took us too. We never had to wait in queues as he made sure he had pre booked all tickets. Simon ensured we took the best photos as he knew all the best vantage points. We never missed out on anything because of Simon's knowledge. In Gubei Watertown Simon made sure we saw the musical fountains , the light show with the drones and the beautiful sunset on the great wall. Then he took us to Jinshanling being a bit older Simon's consideration for us was outstanding. We walked part of the wall and he always had a guiding hand to ensure our safety. We wanted to have a taste of real China food wise and we certainly had that Simon chose the best places and gave us an insight into the true taste of Chinese food. Nothing has been too much trouble for Simon . Making sure we are happy with our hotels, carrying our bags. Encouraging us to experience everything everywhere. On our departure from Beijing, Simon found our seats for us and put our baggage on the train. Also Our driver was an important part of our trip. We enjoyed his company and he cared about our comfort in his vehicle very much. He always had welcoming smile for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Simon and mr Tian as we called our driver tteated us like good friends/family. And as we leave Beijing behind we know we have 2 good friends here and would recommend their services to everyone we know . We want to thank these two exceptional people who have made our trip to Beijing both memorable and magical.

Talking about high tech gadgets are near factory prices, this guided half day tour put new understanding of WYSYB what you see you buy! So many new gadgets from supporting Apple iPhone, iPad ietc, to Andriods branded and unbranded. We particularly like the factory outlet equivalent of Baseus quality range of products. In USA retailing for US$24.40 can be bought at ¥42. Original and works perfectly.

It is a very quaint little place filled with pieces of porcelain vases of all types. The compound wall is studded with beautiful vases which I think one can spend a lot of time examining. The tiles on the roof nearby were very pretty.The inside was decorated with images of birds & flowers with the porcelain pieces. Do not miss the porcelain embedded car on the roof! I also loved the souvenirs from the shop!

Our guide, Shuna Cui, was the best guide I have ever had. She was very knowledgeable and had the most delightful personality. She went out of her way to make us feel taken care of at all times. I hope to use her again in the future. Thank you for such a delightful experience!
