About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- SFGourmet0 contributionsExcellent Tour of Important Sights in Henan ProvinceAble to see the Yellow River from up close. Unfortunately, the hovercraft company went bankrupt during the pandemic and we were not able to sail on the river, which is 50% sand and mud. Shaolin Temple was a fun visit with Kung Fu exhibition from the students. Guide Gavin was fantastic, probably the best guide we have had in all our tours in the last decades. Very knowledgeable about historical information.Written November 12, 2024
- DayTrip059826868460 contributionsA must seeIf you take the HSR it’s only 20 min away to Jiaozuo which was super easy . It’s worth the trip . Especially the red gorge and the glass walkway . Pity the road was closed so we couldn’t go up to the highest point :(Written December 11, 2023

- lrogers270 contributionssanhuang village scenic walkby passed the shaolin temple and pagoda forest to reach for the Cable Car and onto the scenic walk that wraps itself around the mountains.hill. soo many stairs so this one is for the fit and able. because what goes down the stairs, must go back up the stairs. i was pushed for time so could only manage to walk along this for about 30 mins as i knew that going back up the stairs to return would take longer. You must realise that doing the cable car and walk around the mountains takes min of 2hrs. would love to have kept walking to reach the top temple which was about an hour hike around the mountains but could not. highly recommend anyone who is fit to tackle this one. its absoutly breathtaking and not mentioned enough on tours or trip advisorWritten June 5, 2019
- wherehetookhes0 contributionsbeautiful and peacefulIf you can ignore the crowd (where in China is there no crowd?) this place is a must see. While the car-park is a distance from the sights, it is paved and concreted so walking should be no problem for those of us who need to take our time. The temple does have endless steps it would seem, however take your time and enjoy the mystery and the sacredness of this wonderful place. The forest of temples to the ancestors is what I thought was truly magnificent. Quiet and engaging in a sacred sort of way. The Longmen Grottoes are worth the trip...trolley buses get you close to the lengthy viewing area. This area has many stairs to get up close to view the carvings in the caves and grottoes. If you have a mobility problem, I suggest viewing what you can from ground level. The river is a peaceful backdrop, and the bridge takes you to the other-side where you can view from a distance the larger carvings and the perspective of size. Trolley cars await your return to the car park which are some distance away. Note which car park you came from or you will find yourself lost as we did. Finding our way back to our driver was a nightmare of large proportions due to language difficulties. Exhausted from the big day out was the outcome, yet thoroughly delighted with the sites and sights.Written May 26, 2019

I did the tour from Zhengzhou, with a bullet train transfer in both directions. In Beijing I was picked up by the guide Sherry and the driver Gao, who then brought me to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Both of them were very nice and professional and Sherry was happy to answer any questions I had. On the wall itself Sherry gave all the necessary explanations and then let me walk around as much as I wanted. After the visit, they brought me to the tea house nearby where it's possible to participate in a tea ceremony, taste local teas, and buy some. Finally, lunch was in a local restaurant not far from there, with good Chinese food.
