Amazing architecture at the Opera House, a trip back in time at the Russian Village and the ride across the river a once in a lifetime experience . We like to meet people, so we joined ice festival group tour, it is a small group tour, everything was arranged very well, lunch food is very delicious and restaurant environment is good, no smoking. The museum of unit 731 in Pingfang district is very interesting about crimes war of Japanese against Chinese people and others. Through visited Museum and sites, I learned the Unit 731 sites is the unique, largest, target of the research, experimentation, and manufacture of bacteriological weapons for warfare purposes, the English always explained everythings she knows about museum and sites, I prefer to visit site of Unit 731 of the Japanese Army that invited China.

We are couples from Singapore and spend our summer holiday in Harbin, Harbin is very cool in summer, we think that it is great place for hot summer, we booked 1- Day Harbin private tour, the tour guide took us looking around the city with her explanation.

It is a place for human experiments and bacteria experiments, all the experimental objects are living people, most of them are Chinese, there are Koreans, Russians, there are also some American prisoners, the admission to the museum is free, the travel agency need to make reservations in advance, we booked half day unit 731museum and ruins private tour, we plan to go easy way and save some time, the English tour guide explains 5 exhibition halls to us , She helps us understand well, and also took us to visit the ruins and buildings where Japanese did experiment location. it is worth to pay it.

It is museum about exhibition hall of Japanese crimes against China during 1932-1945, my English tour guide explained the museum to me in different exhibition hall, I got lots of history about what Japanese did for Chinese in the pass.

Harbin feel like European-style city, local people most of them taller than others city in China, summer is cool, the prices are not high, except hotels are a little expensive, others are fine,the city scenery is beautiful, tour with local English tour guide easy and learn more.

I went a few years ago actually but I can't enter the dates on the drop down. I was shown around the ice world and also the snow sculptures by Samantha and one of her assistants. It's a stunning and spectacular vista, and Harbin itself with its interesting Russian history and shops is worth a visit in itself.

Samantha is an excellent guide. We spent two days with her and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Harbin. The Ice and Snow Festival, the ice sculptures, St Sophia’s Cathedral and the pedestrian street were all highlights. The tour of the Unit 731 Museum was moving and memorable. Samantha’s winter clothes were perfect for the conditions. Highly recommended.
