The one day tour of the Tienluokeng Hakka area from Xiamen was a comprehensive experience . Our tour guide Cathy was the best- knowledgeable and pleasant.

We had a good time visiting the Tulou and can recommend this tour. Our tour guide Lily is very knowledgeable and was able to provide alot of information on the city. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the tour. We travelled in a 7 seater car so the journey was comfortable for my elderly parents

Day trip very worth it. You can select private tour, if you have 6 or 7 persons. Relax. But still alot walking. Make sure you with good sport shoe.

I had the absolute best time on this tour! Cathy was my guide and she was wonderful. She was so nice, fun, and knew everything about the island. I am so glad she was my guide! They picked and dropped me off directly from the airport which made everything easy. We toured the island, gardens, museum, and had the best day. This was the best way I could have spent my layover! I recommend this to anyone with a layover in Xiamen!

Our guide Ivan was great. He was very informative. His knowledge of history and Buddhism was excellent. His English was also good. He was also very helpful going above and beyond helping arrange train transfers from Xiamen.

This was an outstanding opportunity to learn about unique architecture and part of the world. I had a prompt pick-up at an Xiamen hotel, after booking just about 36 hours before an unexpected free day. Cathy my tour guide was enthusiastic and spoke English very well. The driver was safe and car comfortable. Our visit of Tianluokeng Tulou was fascinating - definitely worth the 2 plus hour drive each way. Take you time, don’t rush through with just a quick photo. Lunch in a small village provided local color, and the visit to the active temple was a chance for this westerner to talk with locals. In addiction, the drive allowed us to discus daily life and current events in China. We easily made a few on-the -spot travel changes that made this a custom experience. Recommend this unique opportune to see an important UNESCO village. I would hire this company, guide, and driver again.

Amazing experience. Very comfortable trip thanks to the driver. Our guide Adam was taking care of every detail and he was so helpful. He has a very good knowledge on Chinese history. You will have fun same time you will learn a lot. If you are visiting Xiamen or nearby, this experience is a must!

Our tour guide Adam did a great job on historical story telling, he explained very well about how the people built those magnificent round buildings without any modern technology and materials hundreds of years ago. Truly amazing!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Xiamen by cruise ship and had arragend a group tour of 10 people with Sophie at Tuloutravel. We had a wonderful day seeing Gulangyu Island and other attractions, and can thoroughly recommend this travel company, and a visit it Xiamen. The sail out at night was spctacular with all the illumination on the tall buildings. Very enjoyable visit. Thanks Sophie.

Took me a while to finically decide on joining the private tour as it’s quite expensive. Turns out it’s quite worth the price. The responds to my queries online were very quick and helpful. Our tour guide Adam was very prepared. He messaged me ahead of time and organised everything neatly. The 2 hours road trip was comfortable. Adam explained well everything regarding the places we saw as well as anything about Xiamen. We enjoyed the trip and would recommend to anyone who don’t mind to pay a bit more for a comfortable and hassle free day.

Excellent tour of the Island with an experienced guide. Ferry crossing was very busy but our guide Miss Lyn did well to get us on an early ferry to avoid the worst. Xiamen is an interesting city and well worth a visit.

We had a good day tour in Xiamen at our cruise ship port. We took a ferry ride to Gulangyu island and visited the Shuzhuang Garden, Piano museum, and climbed to Sunlight rock (lots of stairs). It was an interesting walking tour around the island, and Ling provided us with informative stories of China. We had a tasty traditional Chinese meal for lunch on the island. We headed back on the ferry to Xiamen and visited the Hulishan Fortress and the South Putuo Temple. It was a fun day of sight seeing.

While this booking was a bit expensive, it was 100% worth it. Sinfonia did a wonderful job showing me around the city and explaining the significance of each place we visited. She also provided great insights to Chinese as well as the local culture in Xiamen. I did this tour on a long layover and I'm so happy about my experience with this tour.

Travelled by private car and took us about a 2 hour trip there. It’s on the mainland and a really good drive as the roads are great. Scenery is beautiful and we were lucky to go on a day that was not hot. It’s quite a drive up the long winding mountain road at one stage and the view is just gorgeous. Seeing the Tulou from a far was better than being in front of it and some has gone commercial with quite a few eating places inside it or sales of little trinkets. On the way there, the local red bananas and pomelos are plentiful and worth a try as the red bananas are nice and sweet. I think it was the worth the days trip!

Xiamen was not expected but highly welcomed when our ship had to change itinerary due to a nearby typhoon. Karen was exceptional. She had a great tour and private air conditioned car waiting for us after each landmark was seen. Had a wonderful lunch with local cuisine and fabulous view. She took us shopping for specific items and then got us over to the island for a great walk and fabulous tea service.
