Pretty sights for a half day tour
Everything we got to see on this tour was very pretty. We were only in Punta Arenas for a short amount of time and were happy to have been able to see a few things around the town. Perfect if you’re looking for something to do during the day but not spend your entire day out!

    Fantastic Experience
Absolutely fantastic experience. Our guide Kathy was able to accommodate for both Spanish and English speakers. We saw incredible views at multiple locations, had fantastic photo opportunities and learnt an incredible amount of knowledge about the history and topography of the region from Kathy. Highlight of our South America trip

    What a day!
5! What a day! Alex and Cathy were amazing - kept us on schedule but with ease, which allowed us extra time for a special surprise to the a further waterfall. So much fun and absolutely gorgeous trip to this wonder of the world!

    Nico the man!
Nico was amazing. He has so much knowledge of the area and may as well be considered to be an encyclopedia. He has a passion for music too which made the car rides fun!

    Great but a little pricey.
We had a really good day! The Patagonia was beautiful. Our driver Fabian was fantastic. He drove in some really rough weather! Eduardo was very nice- however he memorized what he needed to say so he spoke really fast and it was sometimes difficult to understand. We wished he told us more folklores and stories. He just gave us facts about things. He often went back to the car- so we had to take selfies instead of our guide being a part of the experience. He also didn’t let us know that the first stop for a break was our only chance to get something to eat. We survived on candy bars. We also didn’t know we needed to pay for the cave entrance. It was a really expensive day considering- tickets and lunch were not included- and the things we learned weren’t super interesting. However in wouldn’t have missed the scenery. We read many reviews were Eduardo was great- so maybe he was having an off day.

Highly recommend Tours Punta Arenas Agency!
From the beginning everything was perfect. The driver was amazing and the tour guide was friendly, helpful and spoke many languages. We had a great day and it was possible to appreciate the full beauty of Torres del Paine and the surrounding areas.

Best experience ever! Highly recommend 😊
It was an amazing experience! We even got the chance to see whales!! Something that is very uncommon at Fuerte Bulnes. The service, kindness and dedication of Veronica and her team is incredible! 100% recommend Tour Punta Arenas and all the tour services that they provide! The tour guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! If you're looking to do tours in Punta Arenas and its surroundings I highly recommend this tour company. We did three tours with them and we have nothing but positive experiences with them and their service which included transport from and to the airport!

A delightful day in Punta Arenas
We thoroughly enjoyed our day with David. Our tour of Fort Bulnes and the Magellan Strait was better than expected. We enjoyed the lovely scenery, the relaxed pace and David's suggestions for seeing Punta Arenas. He was very receptive to our requests and took us to try choripan when we asked for some Chilean food. David clearly enjoyed showing us around, making our day thoroughly enjoyable.

Peter, the tour guide was great. There were 8 of us and we all thought the same. He is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Highly recommend him.

Dishonest business - NEVER use this tour company!
We have booked and fully paid in advance for the private shore excursion 'Full day in Punta Arenas and visit the Strait of Magellan' scheduled for February 3, 2023. However upon arrival on February 3rd at Punta Arenas our cruise ship 'Norwegian Star' was not able to disembark due to the weather conditions. The tour operator totally manipulated the facts in order not to refund us for the tour that never happened - first they claimed that they did not know the ship name, then pretended they did not know that the ship was unable to disembark passengers, etc. Attached is one example from WhatsApp conversation with the company. So unprofessional and manipulative! Never use this company!

    Disappointing!
Be careful before booking this tour… it is sold as a full day tour but it is only a half a day tour… our boat was about an hour late in the dock so we ended up starting our tour at 9:30am… the tour ended at 2pm… I guess we saw the most important highlights at Punta Arenas but we didn’t see all sites listed in the tour.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, UNLICENSED GUIDE, COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME
This tour was horrific — they first left us with an unlicensed driver that got turned away from the main entrance of the park, they then tried to sneak us in but everyone was uncomfortable with that so we made them turn around. They then found another driver that had the right license but the tour guide never even told us that we could get on this other bus, one of the Spanish speaking members of our tour had to call us on WhatsApp to inform us they found someone new and the tour could proceed as planned, just a few hours delayed. The whole day, even with all the complications, they were rude and didn’t offer any communication or remorse. It would’ve been a wasted day because of their negligence and caused a 2 hr delay on our tour. Not to mention that this tour just legitimately sucks. It’s in the most cramped van ever, I’m not that tall and I couldn’t even sit properly in it, it was seriously seriously uncomfortable. Then, the entire hike the group split off into four groups and with only two tour guides (and only one that spoke english) that meant two groups were without a tour guide THE ENTIRE TIME!!! i think we exchanged maybe four words (“hola” when we passed them on the trail, and “where’s the van” when they came back) with the main guide Sofia throughout the whole 11 hour day. We legitimately barely saw her the entire day and she under no circumstance guided us. Didn’t tell us anything about the park. All this tour does is provide you with extremely uncomfortable, occasionally negligent transportation to the park for $150. Get on the Bus Sur busses and save yourself money and also guarantee that you can go and don’t have an unlicensed driver and a tour guide that doesn’t care about anyone on the tour and was quite frankly super rude when the complication with the driver first came to light (they didn’t even tell us about it, we had to rely on Spanish speakers in the car to translate what the police were saying). DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! THEY ALSO NEVER BROUGHT US TO SEE THE CAVES. WASNT EVEN MENTIONED!

Best way to visit Torres del Paine if flying into Punta Arenas
I had a wonderful experience with Tours Punta Arenas. The booking experience was seamless and the communication via WhatsApp was very easy and promptly. I was very pleasantly surprised how well the tour went. My flight landed in Punta Arenas at 8am. My guide, Eduardo and my driver, Luis came to the airport picked me up right on time. The scenery 3 hr drive from Punta Arenas was really pretty with occasional commentary on the area, the animals and the history. Another 2 hr drive to Torres del Paine was fun. It was very sunny and slight windy but the park was amazing. Eduardo and Luis companionship made the long day fun and educational, of course with tons of pictures. They always find the best photo stops for me as well! Highly recommend this private tour and tours Punta Arenas tour company!

We had booked, paid, and received a voucher for the Full Day Penguin tour months ahead of our departure. When we arrived in Punta Arenas, we called to confirm pick up time as they never followed up with us after sending us the Voucher. The call we received was shocking: at 10 pm: THEY DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE our reservation and we had to prove that we had paid and send the copy of the communications with them. Even then, we were told that they had no space for us and they had to contact another agency to see IF they could fit us. We got lucky and were able to go with a different agency. We got the news at midnight and had to be up by 6:30 to get ready by 7:30 am pick up. I wouldn't trust this company.

It only happened to you, we have never had this situation. We still solved the problem and since we did not have the minimum number of passengers, we helped you find another Agency.

We were up early to get to the boat. Make reservations in advance because each bus load of visitors is carefully scheduled - and no more! We walked along carefully marked paths. Park rangers were strategically around the island - what a mass of bird life. Penguins nest in Burroughs and mate for life! It is extraordinary experience.

We booked this through Trip Advisory and were quite pleased over-all. It is really a unique opportunity to see King Penguins. It was a bit confusing as we booked through Trip-Advisor, who used Viatour, who used the Punta Arenas tour company Patagonia Full, who then put us on the tour of Viento Del Sur. This caused some confusion in the morning as we had checked in and confirmed our pickup at our hostel but the tour company ended up coming at 7:00 am instead of the 7:30 that we confirmed. Aside from that all went as promised. They brought us over and took the ferry to Porvenir, where we visited some local sites including a very interesting and informative local museum. We stopped here for a buffet lunch for a very affordable extra price. Afterwards we drove the 100km or so down a dirt road to find the penguins. The area is nicely controlled with set walkways to protect the penguins; it does mean that they are a bit far away but it was still really awesome to see them and they have telescopes available at the "blinds". It was amazingly windy there to the point that it took your breathe away and I think that is relatively common. The ride back is longer because they use the other ferry at Punto Delgado. The wind there was also a problem as the ferry had been shut for a couple of hours before we got there. We had to wait for them to start running again but our guides did a great job talking our way onto the first ferry across. On the way back we also got to stop at a ship-wreck and learn some more local history. It was a long day but well worth it.
