- FromTheSunshineCity0 contributions2 days hiking in Torres del Paine NPWe had 2 fantastic days hiking with Ricky and Filipe. Day 1 was to the base of Las Torres and day 2 was to the Frances Valley. These 2 guides from Las Torres Hotel were engaging and informative, ensured our safety and made the days fun. We lucked out with good views on both days. They love what they do and we appreciated the added surprise of hot tea and sweets at the top!Written December 3, 2023
- JonnyB10520 contributionsAbsolutely horrible. Ruined vacation.Absolutely horrible. Booked and paid the ticket and got it confirmed. We travelled all the way to puenta natales. The day before the tour it got cancelled due to fully booked (?). They blame it on wrongly updated webpage. I got refunded but our vacations got ruined since we couldn't do the tour another day. We never got to see torres del paine.Written January 9, 2023
- Steve A0 contributionsOne day trip from El Calafate ArgentinaThe dramatically shaped mountains in Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park, may have been what I most wanted to see when I booked a trip to Patagonia. Then reality struck. Was it worth an early alarm, a 3 + hour bus trip each way with a burdensome Argentina Chile border crossing? An emphatic YES.! My wife and I loved the guided tour bus trip which included a short ( one and a half hour) hike. The scenery is as dramatic and beautiful as anything I have seen anywhere in the world. Any photographs you have seen do not do it justice. Make Torres del Paine a must visit in any trip to Patagonia. Wonderful!Written March 16, 2020
- SadPatagonia0 contributionsBad luckWe booked a trip for 5, paid close to 9,000 USD. Unfortunately 4 of us missed flight, spoke with the travel agency, who said they couldn’t arrange for 12/25. We paid to postpone our flight so that we can start on the 12/26. Then we were told there’s no trip and no help. One of the 5 people was there and he flies 30 hours to get there. The travel agency assumed all were canceled, never showed up but took the money. The person actually went to their office based on suggestions that there might be options. In the end he was told no option. We missed all possibilities and have to cancel the trip. We understood that there was no refund. Just want to give an account on the series of events. You can judge for yourself.Written December 22, 2019

We really enjoyed this tour with a wonderfully experienced guide and great driver. We were able to get a feel for what must be a really small part of the park, which puts things into perspective before our longer stay in Torres del Paine. We can’t praise the guide enough - she was both knowledgeable and passionate about the park, it’s history and it’s conservation. We learned a lot and had an enjoyable tour with our fellow travellers. While there were some delays in the morning due to a problem with the original van - the team stayed in touch with us and made every effort to make up for the delayed start. Thank you!!

Francisco did an exemplary job as our Spanish/English guide. He taught us much of history, geography, fauna, and everything else imaginable of Patagonia/Torres del Paine. The tour bus was comfortable too. If you want a driven guided tour of Torres del Paine abc the Mildorin Cave I would definitely recommend this tour

This full day tour of Torres del Paine National Park provided an excellent overview with many stops at points of incredible beauty along the way. We also visited the excellent Cave of the Milodon with its informative visitor center. There is so much to see in this area, and it was a pleasure to have the professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly team of John and Alex to make the day easy and enjoyable for the guests. Adding to our comfort was the new and well maintained van, bottled water and snack, and a lunch break in the very fine Hotel Lago Grey inside the park (excellent ambiance and views whether you bring your own food or get something there). I recommend this tour as an introduction before further exploration of Torres del Paine National Park, or for those who plan to spend only one day there while based in Puerto Natales. Say Hueque and Patagonia Planet provide an outstanding experience.

Fantastic! John and Alex are so sweet and truly want to make sure you have a great time. They heard that there were some pumas so we hustled to find them and got some great photos.
The only downside was the pricey box lunch (you have to tell them in advance or bring your own). As another review mentioned, there IS a restaurant which I wish I had known in advance.

The park is all that it is said to be.... spectacular! What makes this tour so memorable is the fact that our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. She was gracious in answering a plethora of various questions and she she seemed to enjoy the tour as much as we did. Her name is Valentina, and we wish her much future success.

This tour to Torres del Paine is excellent! Torres del Paine is the most beautiful place on Earth! The tour guide is wonderful, very informative in both English and Spanish (most guides only speak Spanish), cheerful, and allowed us plenty of time at each stop, and stopping for us to see Llama. We saw a car broken down on the road, and the roads are pebble roads not in such good condition. So we are glad we leave the driving to someone else, and we can relax and focus on enjoying the good view. Even though short, the tour gave us a flavor how beautiful the park is. I just wish we could have spent more time in the park, rather than going to the cave, which was not that impressive.

The trip was excellent. The tour guide John Pineda and the driver Luis Velasquez are very professional. They were very attentive to the group needs. John is very enthusiastic and showed his pride for the country and heritage. We had enough time to take pictures and they showed us interesting things along the way.

The National Park was absolutely stunning! The driver & guide were excellent & stopped at the best viewpoints that the National Park had to offer. Everyone was given plenty of time to take as many pictures as they wanted. Brilliant experience!

Fantastic tour. Torres del Paine is amazing. We have been to Yosemite many times and this natural wonder is not to be missed! Our tour guide with Patagonia Planet was Juan Paulo. He provided the narration in Spanish and excellent English and moved between them seamlessly. Lots of great background and history as well as plenty of Time to just take it all in. The small bus was perfect. No bathrooms on board but we had at least four stops with facilities during the trip. One easy hike of ten minutes or so each way to the waterfall, and you could stay on the bus if you preferred. So worth it.

I found this tour fantastic. Our tour guide john was amazing. Him and his bus driver picked us up from our meeting points or hotel and brought us to some amazing stops in the national park. John was very well informative giving us loads of history on the area. He always ensured our safety too at all times. John interacted well with all the tourists and eas very positive and energetic. I would definitely recommend this tour. I had no complaints. I had a great day.

I am planing a Hurtigruten cruise in October 2021. If Covid situation allows, I would like to do your 1 day tour Oct. 29. My questions - Will this tour be available in October? Can I be picked up/dropped off at the cruise dock? If not what would be the closest pickup hotel to the cruise dock? What is to total sum for all admissions on this tour?
Thanks! L. Tripp
