Friendly driver, tour guide and photographer
Geko is a really friendly driver, tour guide and photographer. We did two tours with him. My mother and I always felt safe and appreciated. He has the best photo spots in Ankor Wat. He also provides the most important information about Ankor Wat, has tips for Siem Reap and responds to requests. The tuktuk is very clean and looks cute. His prices are also fair. He is the best option when choosing tuktuk drivers in Siem Reap… :) Thank you Geko

          Siem Reap Tuk tuk driver
After our first day with Geko and his Angkor Wat tour we didn’t hesitate to book him in for the next 2 days as well. Day 2 we were whisked through rural Siem Reap for about an hour to the Cambodia Landmine Museum. Well worth the visit to find out more about the work people are doing to rid Cambodia of still millions of live landmines. After that we were taken back into town to the Lotus Farm. Again very interesting. The next day we utilised Geko’s airport transfer as we were heading back to Vietnam. Again great service. Highly recommend Geko if you are in Siem Reap.

          Great day with Geko
Geko is very kind and helpful! He drove us everywhere we wanted to go, waited for us and gave us extra information. He was even always available via whatsapp when we needed help beforehand. I definitely recommend booking a tour with him!

Best experience for Siem Reap and all sightseeing tours e.g. Angkor Wat, Floating village, local food
We had an awesome time with Geko. He showed us Angkor Wat with the best places on one day. On another day we drove to the floating village and had a stunning sundowner and collected impressive experiences. He helped us by any things we needed to find in Seam Reap and the nearer location. Best local Street Food as well as nice coffees for work & chill. We highly recommend this great guy!

If you want to experience the temple complex near Siem Reap in a relaxed and stress-free way, then Gego (as harsh as his name was) from GekoTours is the right choice for you!
He is absolutely reliable, both when communicating via WhatsApp with short response times and when sticking to agreed times/locations/prices.
We booked him once for the sunset at the Phnom Bakheng temple and once for the small temple tour around Angkor Wat including sunrise. Before sunset, when we asked him if he could stop at a food stand with loc lac on the way to the temple, he drove us in the opposite direction to a street food stand. We had an excellent meal, he waited, and then we continued..., all at no extra charge!
On the temple tour he charmingly imparted his historical knowledge to us and unexpectedly gave us water and fruit during the tour.
A very friendly and pleasant person!

What an amazing experience made even better by our tour guide Geko.

From the start the communication was great, contacting us on WhatsApp asking what time we would like to be picked up. As we wanted to see the sunrise he suggested a 4:30am pick up and was there on time waiting for us.

He took us to the ticket office first to buy the tickets and helped us with the process then we were straight to Angkor Wat to beat the crowds.

Geko knew exactly where to go to get the best photo opportunities and is a really good photographer, some of the photos he captured for us on our iPhones are amazing and some of the best of the whole trip.

Gekos English is self taught but communicates really well telling us about the facts and history of this wonderful area and was ready to any questions we had.

Throughout the day he guided us around 5 of the temple sights keeping us away from a lot the larger groups which made the whole experience even better as at times we were in areas all by ourselves.

Half way through he takes you to a lovely little restaurant for breakfast/dinner where the food is good and cheap.

After every temple visit he has an ice cold bottle of water for you and an ice cold towel which is so refreshing and a nice touch as it’s so hot and sweaty exploring the temples.

And to top it off exploring the area on his tuk tuk is so much fun, the wind blowing through your hair as you drive to the next sight is also very cooling.

All in all it was an amazing day and trip and would recommend Geko to anyone wanting to explore Angkor Wat and the temples in a more authentic way.

We did the 3-days tour with Gecko and it turned out to be the best choice we made. It was so convenient, we would recommend this way of going through the temples over guided tours. Geko gave us information when we arrived at each temple, he knew where to go and when to save us time and enjoy our visit avoiding the crowded areas. He gave us fresh water every time we got back to the Tuk-tuk and we had lunch with him in a very good and cheap street restaurant.
Our time in Siem Reap and around Angkor temples was great also thanks to him.

        Gecko exceeded our expectations
He was there in the dark 10 minutes before our schedule pick up at 4:30 am
Spoke good English and had a smile on his style from the start to the finish
Even in the dark awaiting the sunrise on Angkor Wat temple He ran off and grabbed this two hot cups of coffee which was well needed at that time of day
We did the four main temples by about lunchtime that day with a lovely brekkie stock at a local restaurant that was brilliant
He was very clever at taking Panoramic and videos in the magical ruins with the right light and timing

I would strongly recommend the use of gecko he was brilliant
        Regards

We booked our tour with Geko having read the many favourable reviews and were certainly not disappointed!

Geko knew his way around the temples, finding us the best spots to watch the sunrise away from the crowd, shortcuts to various places and provided much needed icy cold towels and waters to pep us up to face the sweltering touring conditions.

The Tuk Tuk was very comfortable and an excellent ‘authentic’ way to get about, ably driven by the very safety conscious .

Perhaps our favourite part of the tour was Geko’s photographic skills. He found countless fabulous backdrops and landmarks, shared clever tips and was tireless in his ability to capture our memories for us to enjoy for years to come!

After looking at several reviews on Trip advisor for our Angkor Wat visit, this operator Geko caught our eye. Many good reviews, so we booked his arrangement.

As soon as we booked, he confirmed our booking and communicated via whatsapp our hotel pickup location and time. Sure enough, in the morning at 4:30am awaiting us in front of the Golden Temple retreat was Geko.

Geko has a great personality and will go to great length to ensure you have a pleasant experience throughout the day. Indeed he has 20 years of experience and it shows, so he knows the very best spots to go to for photo’s, lunch, and/or entrance to the temples.

He showed us the best spot to see the sunrise above Angkor Wat, simply magical to see. During the trip Geko made sure we stayed cool with cold towels and bottles of water, took us to a nice restaurant for breakfast and some good food.

Driving in a tuktuk from temple to temple is a great experience and we enjoyed it very much.
He explained about the history and other interesting information about the temples.

Needless to say he has done this many times, nevertheless he is still very enthusiastic about it with a smile or laugh is never far away. We highly recommend to book this tour when you are in Siem Reap with Geko, you will have a wonderful outing and enjoy yourself.

Our tour with Geko was absolutely exceptional! We were picked up on time from our hostel and welcomed with great enthusiasm. Geko took us around each temple, giving us interesting facts about them all. He also knew of all the best spots and made sure to take plenty of fantastic photos of us. After each temple, he very kindly gave us a cold bottle of water and a very refreshing cold towel; just what we needed! To our surprise, he also treated us each to a coconut at the end of the tour. Geko answer all the questions with detail and was very accommodating to our needs:) I would recommend geko over any other tour guide, not only is he a wonderful, funny and informative guide but the tour is also great value for money! We were so glad that we didn’t go with another, or in a larger group. Our time with Geko exceeded all our expectations and I wouldn’t change a thing. Don’t hesitate, just book it! You will not regret it!

Kim took us around the Angkor Wat temples, starting from our apartment at 04:45! He expertly guided us to a “sunrise spot”, found us coffee and breakfast afterwards, and took us to further fascinating temples. He did it all in excellent English, and was willing and able to engage in broad discussions about Cambodian schooling, businesses, work, family … a kind, humane man who it was a pleasure to spend a day with. Also, the temples were fascinating, from very well preserved to engulfed by trees. The age, scale, and majesty of the place is clear.

Pin was an amazing driver, incredibly patient and always had cold water and towels on hand for my return. He picked me up right at 4:30am and brought me to the best spot with a front row seat to witness the sunrise over Angkor Wat. Afterwards he drove me from temple to temple, leaving me with nothing to worry about but exploring these beautiful structures. Highly recommend if you need a driver and are happy to explore on your own.
