About
Your day will start by briefly pausing at Srah Srang, the King's Baths – a large reservoir still containing water today. From here it's only a short walk to the sprawling labyrinth of the Buddhist temple Banteay Kdei. Our next stop, Ta Prohm, gained its 21st Century fame from the movie Tomb Raider featuring Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Today, with Lara long gone, this temple is on the itinerary of most visitors and rightfully so. Many corners of Ta Prohm showcase an intricate relationship between the roots of Spung tree (Tetrameles Nudiflora) and ancient stones covered in moss. Truly a photographer's paradise, don't miss the opportunity to capture your own explorer's moments. This is a half day tour, so you can take either morning or afternoon one. • Departure: 8:00 / 14:00 • Return: Midday / Evening

Sam the great tour guide at Khmer Hisotry.
Emotional experience to Killing Field and S21 prison with our tour guide Mr. Sam. We got all information about the atrocities and custody during Pol Pot's regime. Highly recommend to Sam if you want to know more information about Cambodian history.

          Unforgettable tour.
Thankyou Sam for sharing your own family’s stories and your thoughtfulness while we did the tour together. It is a very harrowing tour but one that people should do so we have a full understanding of those terrible times and the suffering of the Cambodian people. It was not that long ago and everyone in this country are still affected. Sam’s knowledge of the history is very thorough and he speaks excellent English. I was humbled to meet some survivors and Sam showed great respect. I would highly recommend taking the tour with someone like Sam as opposed to self guided because it brings a human reality to the tour and you have conversations. Be warned it is not suitable for children or those who may be badly affected by graphic detail and ‘in your face’ reminders of this inhumanity. If you don’t really understand what happened it is important to do your research beforehand to show respect to the millions who suffered at the hands of the Khmer Rouge. Thankyou again Sam 🙏🏾

          Excellent guide and wonderful driver.
Wonderful trip with Chaya for three days in Siem Reap. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. She took care of us every time by reminding us of head and step when we got inside each monument while our driver was always started engine of car before we arrived and provided us cold water and towers. Amazing trip with amazing tour guide. Highly recommend this!

Useful experience to Killing Field and Genocidal Museum
We had a little time to explore Phnom Penh by going to visit Genocidal Museum and Killing Field. This is a great trip to learn the brutality and mercilessness of Khmer Rough. Our tour guide, Sophea, was knowledgeable about his country.

          Great for a short tour
Amazing insight into the recent history & atrocities in Cambodia - a good 4hr tour that gives you enough understanding without it being overwhelmingly long

Very informative place for Pol Pot Regime
We booked a private tour to this place which is very sad and very graphic. It was a high school turned into a torture and execution facility before sending the prisoners to the killing fields. There are 4 building all 3 stores tall. Over 14,000 people have been forced to entered this facility. Only 7 people survived. There is still 3 men who are alive who spent up to 2 years here and have written books about their experiences.

          Phnom Penh Highlights tour.
We had a fantastic day out exploring the highlights of Phnom Penh with our tour guide Ms. Neang. Although a slightly more Somber day due to the sights visited like the genocide museum and the killing fields, we felt we walked away educated about the horrible past that the cambodian people endured during the 70s. Our guide was brilliant, she came with a wealth of knowledge and stories and we thank her for that. Our group would highly reccomend this tour and our guide Ms. Neang.

The beauty of this temple is that it has many very large trees that coexist with the temple and the roots that emerge from its stones in complete harmony between the facades and the very tall and large trees. The photos are very original since it is not common to see a tree merged with a temple
These trees are what remains of all the vegetation that completely covered these temples and that little by little they have been cleaning and rebuilding. There is a root that from inside the temple when you go out through a door you think you see a man's ass with his legs.
This temple is also one of the most visited and in some places you have to wait in line to take a photo
Angelina Yoli filmed a film titled TOMB RIDER
