About
On this tour, we visit Banteay Srei and the grand circuit. First, we come to see the gemstone of Angkor, Banteay Srei temple (meaning Citadel of Women). It has a beautiful and marvelous design which we can't find anywhere else in Siem Reap. Then, we head to Banteay Samre, a Hindu temple built in 12th century which has well preserved carvings of Hindu stories. After lunch, we continue the tour to Neak Pean temple, a fountain built in the middle of a pool. Next, we will visit Preah Khan or the Holy Sword Temple, and explore the intricacy complex. Then, we will explore Ta Som, a small Buddhist temple. Finally, we come to East Mebon where use to be an artificial island of the now dry East Baray.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Hugary10 contributionsS21 PrisonA terrible insight into the madness of Pol Pot and his supporters and what they did to their own people. A must see. Not so much for young kids. This was part of our Uniworld Cruise in Vietnem and CambodiaWritten January 23, 2025
- B1827DQraymonds0 contributionsAbsolutely the best in Siem Reap also weWe had a private tour with a wonderful guide called Sam Kimseur. His enthusiasm and knowledge brought the whole experience to life. He was expert at finding less crowded times and special routes. With Mr Hoy as driver it was all very smooth and easy and we covered a lot more places than would ever be possible without them. We particularly enjoyed the pink temple, Bantea Srei, Beyon temple and of course the elephant experience. Thank you!Written January 5, 2025
- Riggerreid0 contributionsSo very sad historyA very sad history that needs to be told how over 3 million people were tortured and killed. A devastating event that I didn’t really know much about, I’m so glad I visited and could pay my respects to the innocent people Well worth a visitWritten June 7, 2024
- G8890NXstefanm0 contributionsMost impressive historical site in the worldWhat can I say… just breathtaking. Maybe the most impressive historia site I have seen. Especially when coming there early morning, we were there for sunrise. A lot of people of course but no wonder since it is a world wonder! The place is massive so even if there are a lot of people you don’t feel cramped.Written January 16, 2024
- Stitch16270 contributionsLesson in Cambodia’s dark pastHighly recommend this tour to anyone who wants learn about Cambodias past. It’s confronting but worthwhile to understand and learn from. - amandajarvey0 contributionsLeft us stranded at the airportI booked an airport pick-up with Angkor TK Travel and Tours several months before we were due to arrive. About two weeks before our arrival the airline changed our flight time and I emailed Angkor TK Travel and Tours to advise them of the new arrival time. They acknowledged my email and advised me someone would be there to greet us. However, when we arrived at the schedule time there was no one there. We walked around the airport arrivals checking all of the signboards with names and no one was there for us. Eventually, we booked a car at the transport desk just outside of the airport. This car was ready immediately and took us straight to our hotel (for the same price as the pre-booked transfer). I would recommend not booking a transfer and using this service instead.Written January 21, 2023
- BENJAMIN L S0 contributionsCAUTION - Unreliable airport transfer!I booked airport transfer from this company 2 days in advance via Get Your Guide. Provided flight information, plane was on time got through customs and no one was there. Walked around a sea of signs like an idiot for 30 minutes, called twice was told “I’m sorry let me call the driver”. Prepaid - ended up calling a taxi. Unless you like standing in the heat walking around in circles. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!Written January 19, 2023
- Traveller1620140 contributionsVery importantIt was a very sad, harrowing experience coming here and learning about the history of what happened. Perhaps ignorantly, I knew nothing of the tragic history of Cambodia so it felt important I come here to learn more.Written December 6, 2022
- Joanndigeorgiolutz0 contributionsKampot and Kep touramazing experience! The mangrove forest and boat ride was a treat. The pre-arranged lunch was unbelievable--7 full courses! Be prepared as the food was absolutely delicious, too much for two of us as each course was a full plate!!Written June 26, 2022
- viola3010 contributionsnot that greatbefore I chose I read some mixed reviews. Some people were doing it for the second time but I will not advise it unless you are stuck in Sihanoukville and there is nothing eles to doWritten April 13, 2020
- abbar000 contributionsbeautiful waterfall and lunchI had set this up in advance of my trip, but was having a hard time communicating about a meeting place when I got off the cruise ship. When I got off the shuttle, I was bombarded by people offering taxi services, etc. I held up my paper and said I already had a tour. Luckily a man there looked at my info and gave the tour company a call. They called back and said they were working on finding the driver. Finally a man comes up to me and says he's my driver. I was a little hesitant, and said that I had already paid for the tour, in case he was expecting money. He said that he would get reimbursed, so it was fine. We got in the car, and stopped to visit a pagoda. It was very nice, as they usually are, except for the two men that had lost their legs to land mines in the civil war. I gave them each some money because it was heartbreaking. Then a child comes up to me and asks for money and I told him he had both his legs. He was fine. He should learn to make something to sell to people instead of just looking for a hand out. From there, my driver said we had to go to where the official driver was. He was just a taxi driver. OK, fine. We get to the other driver, and both of them came along with me. After that, everything was great. We drove out to the waterfall, which was a beautiful spot. Also, there were these metal huts with hammocks in them where you could lay there and listen to the water. There were places that had food for lunch. I looked at the menu, and saw BBQ chicken. He said that was for a whole chicken for $16. I said that was fine, all 3 of us could eat it. So I bought them lunch, and had a couple beers. It was a very nice day. Then we went into town and visited the market, which is always interesting.Written January 21, 2020

- Fay S0 contributionsWhite sand BeachesSihanoukville is still underdeveloped. It is very dusty as a lot of road construction is going on. Taking a tuk tuk is not advisable as it is dusty. we supposed to go to the waterfall but due to the dry season it was dry so did not end up going there. I wish the tour agent would have told me in advance as the tour was not cheap. But the tour guide was very informative with good English. The beaches there are beautiful.Written January 16, 2020
- mystyzye0 contributionsVery ProfessionalMy friend and I were very happy we booked this tour. It made our trip convenient and more enjoyable. The team was very professional and made sure our visit was pleasant. Mr. John, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the temples and his command of English is excellent. He would gladly take our pictures and always tells us the best spot for photo ops. They even provide us with some cold bottled water and wet tissue every after each temple tour! Thank you for a great sightseeing and culture experience. ;)Written January 7, 2020
