          Authentic delicious!
Heng was a wonderful guide, our tour was authentic and way off the tourist track. We were able to visit a village home which was remarkable. All of the 6 destinations were unexpected and delicious! I highly recommend this if you want to see and discover real Cambodia food.

          Sann's Tour - Incredible!!
This tour was incredible! Sann (our guide) was impressively knowledgeable about Cambodian history, religion, culture, and cuisine. My husband and I constantly turned to each other and said we were so happy we booked this tour! We would have missed so much if we did not have Sann teaching us every step of the way. The evening food tour was also incredible. Every stop was different in its own way, all of the food was fresh, and the people were warm and welcoming. We have been traveling around SE Asia for a little over a week now and this was the highlight of our trip so far!!! You will not regret booking this tour. It is a long day BUT so fulfilling and with Sann as your guide, you will have the best time!!

          A great experience
We had a great time on this trip. Mony was a fantastic guide who added interesting information about all of the places and food we ate. The tour process from booking to going was very smooth and easy. The trip itself introduced unique aspects of Siem Reap that we would have unlikely known about without going in the tour and I’d happily recommend this tour to anyone thinking of signing up.

          Cool guide 😎
Sivhong was a nice tour guide that gave us a bit of interesting knowledge that we can now share with the world. Totally recommend this tour for someone that just arrived to Siem Reap and wants to know a bit of something not commonly offered.

          Fabulous and fun
We had a wonderful day visiting Angkorwat and surrounding temples. Our guide Chan was knowledgeable and engaging and our drivers warm and friendly. A generous and tasty lunch was provided especially the eggplant and chicken dish. The evening tour included a visit to rice paddy’s where we watched a spectacular sunset and were entertained by local children. We then went to a nearby village and enjoyed one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten.

Great fun tour with a very local feel
We did the full day temple and food tour with Chan. I thought at first it would be too long but having a break during the day made it great, temples in the morning with food! Then food tour starting at 4 , the best part going to a local village and home of Mr Vet and finishing with a great cocktail bar. Well worth it

Excellent whole day introduction to Siem Reap, its culture, history, food and charming people.
We had an excellent morning tour around amazing Ankor park visiting 4 different temples and seeing others along the way. Our guide Chan was fun and very knowledgeable not just about the temples but everyday Cambodian life. Lunch at the end of our tour was delicious and generous. We also really like our tuk tuk drivers with their cool washers and icy drinks. Plenty of time in between tours for a relax and refresh. The evening food tour was fabulous. Unique in we sampled street food, some local restaurant specialties, dinner with sunset in a village and to finish an excellent cocktail . Big thanks to the whole list plate team!!

Excellent introduction to Cambodian food culture
What a treat. A simple little tour that was a great introduction to the tastes of Cambodia. Our guide Sivhong had a great relationship with the market sellers, her information clear to understand and she shared some fun stories. We highly recommend this little tour and were genuinely impressed with the ethics of the company.

          Great morning experience with Sivhong
Great experience with Sivhong! We tried some local snacks and took a stroll at the market. So much happening there! Then we went to a temple not far from the market which is one of the few in the city center. Our guide, Sivhong, was very kind and knowledgeable and also explained about local customs and Buddhism. Really recommend doing this tour!

Food tour with a rural village visit.
Our group of 6 unanimously recommends you share an evening and food with Lost Plate Tours Siem Reap. Hong is a fantastic guide. Mr Wat, whose village house we ate at, is an awesome host. The food along the way was diverse, delicious and excellent. We also enjoyed the Tuk Tuk journeys between each spot. The Tuk Tuk drivers were exceptional too - they took very good care of us. We loved every moment of this tour, but heading out of town to the rice fields and a village home were absolute highlights.

          Highly recommend
Having lived in Asia for 10+ years, we've been on a lot of tours. This was our first time with Lost Plate and its by far the best tour! Highly recommend the Angkor Wat + Food Tour experience -- perfect way to pack in highlights, hidden gems, and cultural/historical knowledge in a day, especially if you're in town for a short stint. Nicely spaced out so we weren't feeling tired. Our guide, Pum, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which made the entire experience more enjoyable. Thank you for taking us around and for sharing a slice of your home!

          Perfect Intro to Siem Reap
Our guide Pom was phenomenal! Knew so much about history of the temples. Pacing was excellent and the perfect amount of temples. It was nice to take a quick break between the temple tour and evening food tour. The food tour was much more in depth than a typical food tour. We experienced a meal in a local home, small street front restaurants, and food carts, and leaned about food and culture connections. This was a great introduction to Siem Reap!

          Lovely Cambodian cultural walk
This is a lovely tour where the only money you pay is what you tip at the end. Sivhong was an excellent guide who answered all of our questions and explained what local daily life is like. We tried a local breakfast snack and got to explore a local market and some beautiful temples. The walking isn't too strenuous. I would highly recommend this tour!

An absolutely special experience. We're amazed at the breadth and eclectic experiences packed into this evening tour. The hotel pick-up and drop off worked flawlessly with our great tuk-tuk driver providing cold beers and cold refresher towels at every stop. Heng, our tour guide, was a friendly and knowledgable expert who lead us through the evening. We had five stops, each uniquely different, starting with a local noodle restaurant that any tourists would be very unlikely to discover on their own. Followed by a jaunt into the Siem Reap country side to witness the sunset over rice paddies, surrounded by enthusiastic local children, their friendly dogs and the gorgeous setting sun. Then onwards, to a local village house, with the gracious Mr Wet, who welcomes us into his home for a feast of local dishes - this was outstanding! Then back into town for a BBQ beef restaurant, followed by a delicious dessert course of customised roti from a family run roadside stall, and then a debrief at a very tasty cocktail bar which was a relaxing way to end our wonderful evening. Heng was excellent; we cannot imagine a better guide.

Such a great tour with experiences you can't get anywhere else.
We started by trying Kula Noodles at the only shop in Siem reap that sells them. Then a spectacular sunset over rice paddies was followed by a very kind local family inviting us into their home. We then had the MOST amazing beef skewers from a restaurant that has had the same menu for 40 years, followed by a classic family meal, and finally very refreshing and fancy cocktails at bar 43.
If you are looking for a unique experience, definitely book this tour

We stumbled across this website after lots of searching and it looked exactly what we wanted!
When booking I particularly liked that the first question was asking about us, it felt personal immediately. Once we had paid the fee I got email confirmation and a follow up text message from Heng double checking our pick up location.
        All very reassuring.
Heng was at our hotel ready and waiting to greet us.She explained exactly what we were to expect from the tour and gave us time for any questions. Well what an amazing afternoon, we felt extremely privileged to meet real locals in their own environment, and what wonderful friendly people.
Heng was an outstanding guide, extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and personable, we felt very comfortable in her company as though we had known her for a lot longer
We would 100 % recommend this experience. Lifelong memories, thank you Heng 😊

A group of friends and I booked on to this trip in mid January as our first real experience of Siem Reap. Hen, our tour guide, was incredibly excited to take us through some fantastic eateries around the city and share some local culture along the way. Our group travelled via several tuk-tuks that were clean and serviceable, and our drivers were pleasant and caring (as well as keen to hand over a beer or three along the way). We had incredible meals to share across the entire afternoon and finished feeling remarkably satisfied. Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting to introduce themselves to the area or to Khmer cuisine.

The trip was nicely curated and showed us a nice range of local Khmer food in a short period of time. The guide, Sibi and his trainee were very hospitable and passionate in sharing their culture and knowledge. An added touch was the beautiful sunset we caught as we went to visit our local host’s village. Overall a very enjoyable evening experience!

The best kind of travel is the kind that allows you to truly connect with people, experience their way of life, and gain a deeper appreciation for their culture. This tour did exactly that and more.

Every country or city I visit, I make it a point to join a foodie tour, and I can confidently say that this was far beyond just the food or the history—it was about connection. One of the most unforgettable moments was visiting a local family in a very rural village, where we were welcomed into their home and treated to a meal specially prepared just for us. Sitting together, sharing food, and listening to their stories about fishing traditions, village history, and rice farming gave me a newfound appreciation for the flavors we were enjoying.

Exploring the rice fields and understanding the effort behind every grain of rice, hearing firsthand about how the village sustains itself, and seeing a way of life so different from my own made this experience incredibly special and unique—something you simply can’t find everywhere. This was more than a food tour; it was an opportunity to connect with people in a meaningful way. Days later, I still find myself thinking about that meal and the generosity of the family who shared it with us.

If you’re looking for an authentic, heartfelt, and unforgettable experience, this is the tour to take. 5 stars all the way!

Excellent late afternoon/evening trip, we were picked up at our Hotel by tuk-tuk and taken to various local restaurants, sampling different types of Cambodian dishes. The trip also included a drive out of the City to visit rice paddies, lotus pondsand a small village, where we also had several dishes served to us by a family (thank you for your hospitality Mr Wet and your wife!). Then back in to Siem Reap for more food and finished off in a bar for Cocktails. All the restaurants were clean, the food good and the tuk-tuk driving safe. Great value for money and a way to get to know more about Cambodian food and the way of life. Thanks also to Borey for guiding us, a great evening out! If you are not doing an early start for sunrise next day, “afters” in the Old Market area of the City would be a good idea, the tour finished around 9pm so the night was “still young”, if you were not getting up next day at 4am!

What a great evening! Sochea, our guide, was extremely friendly and carefully explained all of the food that was served in each of the very local places. My sister and I love finding and supporting local eateries, and having a friendly guide and a small group makes it so much easier! I highly recommend this tour - especially if you’re a fan of non-stop beer or soda, and great local food.

Cannot recommend this tour enough. We’ve done a few of these food tours throughout our travels and this was by far the best one we’ve ever done. We saw (and ate) so many things that we never would have had otherwise on our own. Our stops included a few local restaurants, sunset visit to rice paddies, and a home cooked meal in Mr. Whet’s home. He made us a special dish for our honeymoon and cut the fruit into hearts. Our guide Heng was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the locations we went to and the food we ate. We learned a lot about the local culture from her. And she taught us a few Khmer phrases! I recommend everyone to try this tour and to book with Heng! Orkun thom thom bong Heng!!
