Mr Chen is a very friendly and knowledgable guide. We went to Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm and he was very patient and explained everything nicely. We were also accompanied by Mr Sochea who was our driver for the day, he made sure to always offer cold towels and water at every stop. Highly recommend booking them, its an excellent option especially if you are short on time.

Amazing tour of Angkor Wat during our first afternoon in Siem Reap. Much less busy that the morning apparently and beautiful light still. Our tour guide Makara was fantastic and I highly recommend booking with Mak Adventures!

Wow what a truly amazing day! Tom was an excellent guide and so incredibly informative. He told us so many stories and history of each place we went. My husband loved learning about the political history of Cambodia as well during our drives. The hike to Kbal Spean was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour as it is off the beaten path from more touristy areas and truly incredible to see Banteay Srei, Kbal Spean, and Beng Melea. I feel these are not glamorized as much but are a must see!

We will advise people to explore ankor wat area by bike. Driving through the jungle (small bike paths in the forest) is a nice expirience. The sunrise and sunset at ankor wat are really memorable.

My husband and I did the full day private tour with Mak and had a wonderful experience. Mak is friendly and professional and speaks good English, so we got a lot out of the tour. Additionally, he was super helpful while we were coordinating what we wanted to do and get out of the tour. He also suggested short stops at two other temples along our route. We spent just enough time and got to explore as much or as little as we wanted at each stop. We saw other private guides who didn't offer nearly the same experiences to their clients. Would highly recommend Mak!

We cannot thank Mak enough for our 3 day private tour. We were traveling with a 2 year old toddler and my child liked him immediately. He was even asking Mak to hold his hand as we explored the temples. Mak is very gentle and kind. Also extremely knowledgable about the best times to visit temples (we avoided all crowds) and knows the history up and down. He tailored our tour around our interests and times. We are Hindu and he even taught us a few things. Our Driver, Chear, was also excellent with our child, We felt so comfortable with them that we allowed them to watch over our child as we did some couples exploring.
