Itinerary
- 1At 6:30 am, you will be picked up from the hotel and head to Beng Mealea temple located some 65km from the town ship of Siem Reap, this grand temple is a must see. Once hidden in the heart of the jungle, improvements to the surrounding roads have just recently made this cultural treasure accessible to the public. This is a unique way to see this temple early in the morning and you will see a lot of birds, squirrels and other animals jumping from trees to trees. You will have a chance to walk through a beautiful temple on wooden bridge. You can take a lot of photos. Then move to Svay Ler to visit Peung Komnou (painted reliefs or caves). There you will have a motorbike tour at your own expense. It’s a great experience to see this with no tourists around. Peung Komnou. You will have lunch break there. Then visit our English-class. Note: You can involve in teaching if you like or just 10 minutes there. Back to the hotel by 4 pm. Note: Our free English class is from Monday to Friday and not on public holiday.

- 976mikaelaz0 contributionsGreat blend of information and free timeMy father and I did the two day tour with Bunleat. The tour was very interesting, and the perfect mix of information and free space to explore. Bunleat was able to answer all of our questions, and was not overbearing with information. Having a car with ac and wet towels and water was a life saver in the hot May environment. Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples are truly a most see and I would recommend the tour we did.Written June 8, 2024
- jolondam20220 contributionsSiem Reap SoloA colleague recommended a guide, Bunleat from Tour Angkor Wat. He truly maximized my short time in Siem Reap. Whether you're a solo traveler or in a small group, I highly recommend Tour Angkor Wat. Bunleat's knowledge was astounding, providing historical context and insights into local life before, during, and after COVID. He was open to all my questions and even cleverly referenced earlier inquiries at later sites to better answer my initial curiosities. The heat was intense, but Bunleat kept me well-hydrated with a constant supply of water. He skillfully timed our visits to popular temples, avoiding the crowds and ensuring a more enjoyable experience. For solo female travelers or small groups, I can't recommend Bunleat enough. He organized airport transfers and expertly fit in temple visits around my arrival and departure times. He was clearly dedicated to ensuring I had a fulfilling Siem Reap experience despite my limited time. I felt safe, heard, and thoroughly impressed by his expertise. I've made sure to share his information with friends who are looking to travel to Siem Reap.Written May 11, 2024
- Excursion504240664390 contributionsAnkgor with toddlersAmazing tour overall! Our guide was really knowledgeable and in two days he took us to see 8-9 temples, also taking amazing pictures of us. As we are travelling with 3 and 4 years old children he paid a lot of care and attention to their needs.Written April 3, 2024

- Tazmocha0 contributionsExceeded ExpectationsThis tour exceeded expectations in all respects. The guide and driver were stupendous because they were knowledgeable, fun, and very attentive to us. The guide was full of fascinating stories about the temples. Our guide was a great photographer too! Word of advice: Tuk tuk is the best way to explore the temples. It’s slow enough to enjoy the surroundings, yet fast enough to cover lots of ground.Written March 31, 2024
- danlZ5294BR0 contributionsBunleat is the best tour guide in the worldMy partner and I had the most amazing tour by Bunleat and Mr jame (our driver). We really enjoyed getting to know them and highly recommend Bunleat. He taught us so much about Cambodian culture as well as the stories behind all of the amazing temples. It was a pleasure learning of the rich history. If anyone is on the fence about getting a private tour, we highly recommend it. It is so reassuring to know you are in safe hands.Written March 23, 2024

- Seaside342093243230 contributionsBest trip everBunleat was amazing! He took care of all the details in advance so everywhere we went it was smooth. Fun to be with and very knowledgeable about the temples. Offered in depth information about the construction and history. We requested to change the schedule slightly and see some local art in addition. Bunleat changed the literary and took us to two fantastic studios and our trip was complete. It would have not been the same or nearly as satisfying without his input. Highly recommend, you will be lucky to have him with you for your tripWritten March 11, 2024
- RR_USA0 contributionsExcellent, knowledgeable and nice guide, with a relaxing pace.Sothan was a wonderful guide; very knowledgeable, well-spoken English and a very nice person that cares about his country and its heritage. What I also liked is his pace of explaining and the amount of information that he gave: I wasn’t flooded with information and he gave me some time to let thoughts sink in which made it a very comfortable experience.Written March 11, 2024
- Cherylramette330 contributionsHighly recommend Happy Angkor Wat TourMy friend and I did the 2 day Happy Angkor Wat Tour with Bunleat Horng and his wonderful driver whose name I am sorry I can't right now remember. Bunleat treated us to many stories of the temples, the history, the carvings, the meaning of the places and moments memorialized that we were experiencing. He was relaxed and yet kept us on schedule which is not always an easy thing to do for a guide. When he realized we weren't 'selfie types' he just pointed out places for a good view and let us explore. Lunches at local restaurants were excellent. Two stops on the second day at artist studios were perfect for us - both artists and natural dye enthusiasts. Each time we returned to the tuk tuk our driver immediately provided cold water and cold lemongrass scented towels to wash our faces, hands, and necks. It was divine! He was an excellent, careful driver and we always felt safe.Written March 9, 2024
- Tazmocha0 contributionsOne of the best tours everWe went with Bunleat the guide for Happy Anghor Wat Tour. Bunleat is the most knowledgeable guide who shares an abundance of detail about the temples. He is polite and has a great sense of humor, as well as being an excellent photographer for us. We enjoyed exciting stories and historical information throughout the tour. Most importantly, Bunleat looked after our comfort and welfare through his attention to our wants and needs. A special shout out to our awesome driver!Written March 8, 2024
