Two of us spent two very full days with Pin and his driver visiting several of the many temples in Angkor Wat.
Pin went out of his way to explain the history of Cambodia and gave us a very clear description of the way it is developing and the way its people are living. His knowledge of the temples is comprehensive and he is clearly very enthusiastic about the details of the Buddhist and Hindu history. He suggested a very packed itinerary included climbing a hill to get a wonderful view of the sunset over Tonle Sap lake and then the next day the sunrise at Angkor Wat. He suggested a trip to the Landmine museum and a 'floating fishing village', including a boat trip on the lake which was very well worth it.
He and his driver were completely unperturbed by spending a very long day with us from 5:00 in the morning till late at night. We had chosen to do this by Tuk-tuk but we could have chosen an air conditioned car.
Pin is flexible and very adept at personalising a schedule, organising transport and looking after his guests. We saw and learnt so much more during our two days with Pin than we possibly could have done without a guide.

Pin is local from siem reap who is super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He responds really quickly on email and WhatsApp, gives really great recommendations and tips. During our 2 day tour we learnt so much from him and asked him a ton of questions. Great English too! He also helped us take a bunch of really good (and instagrammy) pictures. Absolutely recommend and absolutely a pleasure to have him with as our guide. The tour itself was well planned, visiting a big chunk of Ang kor area on day 1 and sunrise and the rest of angkor area on day 2. We did a floating village tour as well. All of these are customisable too.

My mom and I traveled for 9 days throughout Cambodia and SE Asia in October of 2019. During our time in Siem Reap, we booked this two day tour with Angkor Special Tours which ended up being the best tour we had our entire trip! Our tour was private and included two full days through the Angkor area and Tonle Sap floating village. There was so much to see that the two days went by very quickly. Our guide was Mr. Chen who was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and took us away from the large crowds of people. He had a real passion in teaching us about the different temples and the Cambodian culture. He also volunteered to take lots of photos of us and now we have beautiful photos that we are both in. Overall, he did an amazing job. Our driver was excellent too. He was always on time and we never felt rushed. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel and given plenty of time to eat lunch on both days. I highly recommend taking a tour with Angkor Special Tours on your next trip!

We took a two day tour with Pin and our driver Leehowa (sp?). From start to finish, our experience was professional, informative, and fun. Our pickups at the hotel were prompt and the days were filled with history, pertinent background information, and breathtaking sites.
Pin not only provided expert commentary, he also knew when and where to take photographs that we, our family, and friends have enjoyed since our return. He is truly the master of the panoramic shot and was able to teach us how to use it to better advantage.
My husband has some physical limitations that affect his ability to walk for long periods and can make it difficult for him to walk/climb on uneven surfaces. Our guide and driver were extremely attentive and assisted my husband so that he was able to view as much of the sites as possible. In addition, they were able to pace the days to maximize our tours. On day one, after a morning at temples, we took the boat trip to the floating village. On day two, after sunrise and touring at Angkor Wat, we spent time at a local market learning about and sampling local products.
Our two day tour gave us an individualized experience and memories that we will treasure forever.

I'd like to add another rave review for Pin, who did an absolutely fantastic job with our group. In addition to providing us with a wealth of information about the Angkor temples, Tonle Sap lake and Cambodia, Pin made sure to take plenty of family photos, was very flexible to the needs of our group (4 kids between the ages of 9-16), made sure we were well stocked with cold towels and water bottles, and made every effort to ensure that we made the most of our tour. Above all else, we felt so well taken care of -- it was very clear that Pin really cares about his work, his guests, and has enormous pride in his homeland. Highly recommend!!

Excellent experience with Thean as guide and Mr Thunna as driver. Thean knows everything about Angkor and takes his time to explain the history of each temple, their respective architecture and decoration (including the different characteristics of each temple) in a very rich English vocabulary. Thean knows every spot to take pictures and takes great pictures of us. Both Thean and Mr Thunna are very friendly and helpful, and also tell us about Cambodia's recent past, so that the tour is not limited to the Angkorian past. Our only regret is that the chosen tour mentioned a visit to a floating village, which we had dreamed of seeing, but that we visited a village on stilts (also very interesting though) because, according to Thean, the stilts would have made way for them in recent years. If this is the case, the agency should change the title of its tour and clearly indicate what is being visited or if these villages still exist, that is what should be visited.

We had a great tour with our guide Vannakpin (Pin). He took us to many temples throughout the Angkor area, and helped us prioritise our trip. He is also very knowledgeable about the local temples, customs and history.
Between stops we were also given cold water and a cold wet facecloth to cool off, which was just what we needed in the hot Cambodian sun.
Pin is also a great photographer and helped us find photo spots and took many great photos of us!
Highly recommended!

We booked a 2 day private tour with Pin as our guide and Li as our driver. Both super nice, spoke great English and we felt very safe and well taken care off. Pin could tell us a lot about Angkor and also about Cambodian history and culture. We learned a lot. Thank you!

We had Pin as our guide for two days. He was very nice and helpful and speaks very good English. We did the two day tour with the small and big circuit in Angkor. You can also customize your tour when you have certain wishes e.g. Banteay Srei.
Lee was our driver. He drove very safe both days and also speaks very good English.

Pin is our guide in Siem Reap. He is the most excellent person one wants to meet when visiting the area. Very knowledge and informative on all aspects of Siem Reap and Cambodia.
