About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- X8711AFmollyw0 contributionsCouldn’t of asked for a better tour around BattambangExcellent, well thought out day trip that covers so much of Battambang. We got picked up at 7am from our accommodation. Our driver was very friendly and thoughtful (he even gave us fruit for the long and late night drive back). Our tour guide, David, was absolutely brilliant. Not only did David cover everything listed in the tour with great detail and passion, but he also went out of his way to take us to some extra spots he thought we might like. We felt really immersed in the local culture, and came away with a much greater understanding of Cambodia’s history. We enjoyed the frequent stops at local markets and restaurants for tasty cuisine, and even drove through the countryside to see the farmland. David’s charisma made him the perfect, fun tour guide and he carefully answered all our questions. Thank you so much for a fantastic day!Written February 6, 2025
- IanRozowsky0 contributionsA must do experienceWe recently did a full day Battambang trip, and it was a fantastic day out. Leaving from Siem Reap, we were collected punctually at 07:00 by our driver Tri, who took us to Battambang, where we met up with Kim, who was to be our Tuktuk driver and guide for the day. We started with a brief history of the city, then a trip to the local morning market. It was fantastic to see people selling and shopping in the same way they have for hundreds of years. Everything was on sale, from fresh produce to frogs, snails and snakes. We stoped for an excellent coffee, and then had a look at some of the French architecture around town. A stop at the Battambang statue followed, with Kim telling us the story of the magic stick, and how the city was named. Then off into the countryside to the Bamboo train, passing the swinging bridge along the way. The bamboo train was a highlight - What an experience! Therafter, off to Banan Temple, with its 365 steps. After a quick lunch on the water near the temple, we headed to the Golden temple on a hilltop, where we enjoyed the sunset, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. A short stroll to the Killing and Frog Caves, with their horrific history, and then back to the TukTuk and on to the Bat Cave, where we arrived just as millions of bats were streaming out of the cliff face on their evening feeding flight. A short trip to the highway to meet up with Tri again, and a 2.5 hour ride back to Siem Reap, arriving around 21:30. A full day, but an amazing one. Kim and Tri looked after us so well - Highly recommended.Written January 13, 2025
- Sanna H0 contributionsA must do trip in Gambodia. 10/10Car came to pick us up on time. In Battambang we met our guide Kim. He was really friendly and very informative. He drove us around in his tuk tuk and explained the places (city area, statues, country side, mountain and the history etc.) He answer all our questions about the culture and showed us also the local life. He also prepared us plenty of water for the hot day. The day didn't feel too long (I think it says 15h but time flew by). Food was also delicious. He spoke good english. Excellent guide, we would do this again anytime with Kim as our guide. Highly recommend.Written December 15, 2024
- carysc20180 contributionsIncredible day outWe had an amazing time with our guide David and driver Mr Chea. The ride to and from Battambang was smooth, safe and comfortable with Mr Chea, who was also very kind and offered to stop when we wanted and gave us fruit on the way home. When we got to Battambang the day was full of interesting stories and sights. David was so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable, and showed us some amazing places in Battambang. He has great knowledge of the area and would point out interesting things along our trip, making stops as he saw best for us. Would really recommend if you want one day in Battambang to see all key sights in a relaxed and efficient way!Written December 15, 2024
- andrewrD5460NI0 contributionsA great but long day outA really great day out. Picked up early in the morning from the hotel by Tree who was to be our driver for the day. Met Kim our guide at Battambang who was having problems with his Tuk Tuk so was unable to drive us around as planned. It wasn't a problem as Tree took on the role as driver for the entire day. There were a couple of unforeseen hiccups along the way but all of them were sorted with zero fuss and a smile. Everything about the day was great but it is a lengthy drive day to and from Siem Reap which makes a very long day out. Recommend this as a day out. Kim & Tree and really nice people.Written December 9, 2024
- Dawwy0 contributionsThe Best Excursion of Our Trip: Battambang Day TourOur one-day excursion to Battambang was the grand finale of our holiday in Cambodia, and it turned out to be the absolute best. Despite the long drive from Siem Reap (2.5-3 hours each way), this tour was so well-designed and enriching that every minute felt worth it. It’s a must-do if you’re looking for a meaningful and unforgettable experience outside of Siem Reap. Our journey started with Tree (or Tri), our driver, who made the long drive so comfortable and relaxing. His safe and focused driving allowed us to rest and even sleep peacefully on the way there and back, which gave us the energy to fully enjoy the day. Once in Battambang, our experience shifted into high gear with Kim, our exceptional guide and tuk-tuk driver. Kim was truly the star of the day. He not only followed the itinerary perfectly but also accommodated every additional stop we requested. From visiting a tobacco shop where we learned how to roll tobacco from a grandmother, to exploring a fresh market to try local street food, and even tasting barbecued rat, Kim went above and beyond to ensure we experienced the true essence of Battambang. Kim’s storytelling and humor brought history and culture to life. His ability to make everything relatable and engaging was remarkable. He didn’t just show us the sights; he helped us connect with the people, stories, and spirit of the city. The tour itself was brilliantly structured. Battambang’s unique architecture and rich history captivated us, while the bamboo train ride was a fun, memorable experience that also supported rural families selling souvenirs. Lunch, prepared by a local family, was simple yet delicious. The Banaan Temple was absolutely stunning (though the stairs are not for the faint-hearted!). The day culminated with a visit to the Killing Cave, Bouddhist temple with amazing views and Bat Cave, which left a profound impact on us. Witnessing the Khmer people’s resilience and ability to turn tragedy into meaning was incredibly moving. Watching thousands of bats emerge from the cave at sunset was one of the most magnificent sights we’ve ever seen—truly unforgettable. If you only have time for one tour outside Siem Reap, this is the one to choose. Battambang’s beauty, culture, and people will leave a lasting impression. On our next trip to Cambodia, we plan to stay a few days in Battambang and will absolutely request Kim as our guide again. This experience was perfect in every way. Highly, highly recommended!Written December 1, 2024
- Travel527356564590 contributionsSpectacularWe had a wonderful tour in Battambang. We learned a lot about the history of the country and had some great experiences. Our guide Kim was great, very friendly and knowledgeable, his English was really good and his insider knowledge of where to get local food was awesome! We were very humbled by the killing caves and very inspired by the temples.Written November 22, 2024
- aimees2kes0 contributionsThe best day in Battanbang with Mr KimYou begin by being picked up from your hotel in an air conditioned car with a driver. The driver then took us from Siem Riep to Battanbang, where we met our tour guide Mr Kim. Mr Kim's English was perfect. He was funny, charming and knowledgeable. He took us to all places on the interary plus extra. One of our favourite parts of the tour was driving through the country side and Mr Kim explaining what the farmers were doing. We pulled over in the tuktuk to buy fruit from the local people and they prepared it for us ready to eat. Mr Kim took lots of photographs for us throughout the day, which will be our favourite photos from our holiday. He offered us photographs without us having to ask, in the most beautiful locations. At the end of the day, we saw the most beautiful sunset above the Bat Cave. We would reccomend this tour to everybody and specifically Mr Kim, it was so enjoyable to spend the day with him and he taught us so much about Cambodian history. We will never forget our day on this trip. Love, Aimee & Joe from England xWritten November 21, 2024
- Katherine T0 contributionsI strongly recognise and recommend Mr Lucky. His hp #855 70 577 549Responsible, reliable, trustworthy and caring tour guide cum driver. We had a day trip to Battambang from Siem Reap with Mr Lucky as our tour guide cum driver. Mr Lucky was so helpful and friendly. He helped us up and down the steep steps. He helped us took a lot scenic photos. When I told him my worry about next morning transportation to Vet Air bus terminal, as I had tried many times using my hp to call Vet Air bus company but with no response, so he used his personal hand phone to call the company and made arrangement for the company bus to pick us up at our hotel lobby. I strongly recognise and recommend Mr Lucky as 👍👍👍tour guide cum driver. His hp #855 70 577 549 In future if we have a chance to visit Siem Reap again I will definitely call him to bring us around. Thanks Mr Lucky for letting us have an enjoyable and unforgettable trip.Written November 18, 2024
- OldJill0 contributionsSiem Reap and the templesIf you only want to visit Siem Reap and not other parts of Cambodia this tour is ideal. We saw Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei Butterfly Centre, Tonle Sap Lake and much more. The included lunches were excellent. Our guide Rachna had wonderful knowledge. Execellent 3 days.Written November 5, 2024
- Sheryl M0 contributionsEverything and more ❤️This trip was fantastic! Interacting with the Sun/Moon Bears and making enrichment activities ( I named them Sweet Treat Bear Bombs/Balls) was a personal favourite. Also kayaking across the Mekong and finding 3 different pods of Irrawaddy River Dolphin and spending another day feeding, following and hands on interaction with the elephants at the Kulen Elephant Sanctuary were also highlights of my tour. Holding a Pouch Rat at Apopo Hero Rats, breakfast at sunrise watching Angkor Wat come into view, our many evenings out together and those unexpected adventures due to torrential downpours all made for a unforgettable tour that I would recommend to everyone. A big thank you to Mr Sam our tour bus driver, who kept us safe on the roads and well watered. Also a big thank you to Pitou our tour leader, who took me get a SIM card, walked me to ATM for cash, was very informative and was constantly checking to make sure I was ok.Written November 2, 2024
- katrinam4640 contributionsGreat day at BattambangGreat day, Ghia drove us from Riem Seap to Battambang then we transferred to a TukTuk with Kim as our driver/guide. Kim had a great knowledge of the history of the area and was very happy to make our visit a day to remember. A lot of fun on the bamboo train and a sobering time at the killing cave & frog cave. Well worth the trip, would recommend to anyone.Written April 26, 2024
- luisrQ8060SH0 contributionsAbsolutely recommended! This day trip is a must if you only have one day to visit Battambang from Siem Reap. You will visit funny places and it will help you to know local people and to understand the recent history of the country. Mr. Kim will make you remember this day for a very long time.Written March 30, 2024
- 570samv0 contributionsNani the tour guide was fantasticA very enjoyable and organised tour. Transfer from Siem Reap to Battambang via car, then to tuktuk for the city and countryside tour was seamless with good communication between the drivers. My tour guide Nani was helpful and polite, and was good at explaining the history and importance of each place we visited. He had great knowledge of the area, offering different options and ways to see things - after the bats began to fly out of the cave at sunset, he took me to the fields where they were flying to and it was such a surreal experience! If I were to do this day tour again, I would definitely choose to go with Nani.Written March 15, 2024
- Simone A0 contributionsBook this amazing tourThis tour is just so great. We didn’t have time to stay in Battambang so thought of doing this trip from Siem reap. When the driver arrived we could choose the music for the journey there, which was a lovely touch. Once we arrived at Battambang we had the lovely and very knowledgeable Kim. We throughly enjoyed Kim’s history knowledge throughout the day. We could take our time at each stop and we never felt rushed. This was one of the highlights and I’m so glad we didn’t skip this part of Cambodia. You will not be disappointed it’s such a great trip. Thank you Kim.Written March 2, 2024

My wife and I were the only ones booked hence we had a 'private' tour with our guide Ty. She was very personable and chatty and gave us a great introduction to not only the city but the culture and the way of life of the Cambodian people and some aspects of the history of the country. She explained very well the various sites we stopped at and we also learned her personal story. She was very informative and a very good start to our short stay in this fascinating country.

From booking on the app to meeting up literally 2 minutes from hotel it was seamless.
We visited various markets, the monastery, gardens and a lovely small market selling Cambodian locally made products. We learnt of the history, culture and day to day life of Cambodians. We had a wonderful guide Ty who had a great sense of humour alongside a vast knowledge of Cambodian History. She interacted with us so well. It was a pleasurable 2 hours spent getting to know the local area as we had only arrived that morning.

Excellent and fun way to learn about Siem Reap. Our guide, Sai was extremely friendly, warm, and knowledgeable with unique insiders take on the sites and the city. Would highly recommend this walking tour. Great for families. Approximately 2-1/2 hours of moderate/slow paced flat walking so appropriate for all fitness levels.

Guide was a complete no show. We waited almost 20 minutes past the designated start time at the meeting point and no one showed up. Inexcusable. We called the contact number a few times -and was met by a recorded message that wasn’t even in English, and then it just hung up. So complete limbo.
Would not recommend, for such a basic service that you can just do yourself at the end of the day.

Great walking tour. I was concerned that it would be lack luster based on the low price but was pleasantly surprised. Would have been worth 3x the price. Great way to get the lay of the land on my first day. Our guide was fantastic and filled with information about each of the locations we stopped at.

Excellent walking tour of Siem Reap! We learned a lot about the area in the 2.5 hours we were together from a guide who grew up in the town. Definitely recommend as a good way to get your bearings in the city.

It is an idyllic place and a wonder of the world. I have been lucky enough to be there twice but if it were the third time I wouldn't think it was bad. We will never forget the sunrise seeing the temples in Ankor and I thank God for this luck.
I recommend the combined trip with Vietnam and Laos because since we go so far for a little more, it is worth it.
We have been lucky enough to find an agency that prepared and personalized our trip and the truth is that it has turned out even better. thanks to Greta and Juan from Vietnam routes.

We had Sai as our tour guide, he was absolutely fantastic! Was informative and genuine in his guiding. He kept checking in with everybody in the group to make sure everybody could understand and was doing OK. It was our first day in Siem Reap and we were tired and a bit nervous, but Sai was so welcoming and friendly! Would 100% recommend this tour as a great way to be introduced to Siem Reap.

The walking tour was excellent value and our guide, 'T', was absolutely superb. She went out of her way to explain aspects of the sites we visited, and was willing to engage in conversation, rather than simply trotting out a script. A great walking tour.
