After breakfast at around 8am, we’ll come and pick you up and start the hour or so drive out to the Phnom Kulen mountain range. The drive into the site is up steep hills and the landscape is like no other in Cambodia. This sandstone mountain used to provide all the sandstone required for the temples and is very important for the history of the Khmer empire. Phnom Kulen has been made a National Park by the Cambodian government. Here you can see a stunning waterfall which increases in size during the rainy season. We can also go for a swim and enjoy relaxing by the water. We will also stop to see the Reclining Buddha Statue and the River of a Thousand Lingas.

          Highly recommended tour company
We had a really excellent sunrise & sunset tour with Bunpheng. He was ready and waiting for us on time with a great driver in a very comfortable car. For sunrise, Bunpheng took us to a good spot away from the crowds, which was lovely. Bunpheng is very experienced and knowledgable, and was engaging and informative in explaining things and answering our questions. He was also an excellent photographer and took lots of great photos for us! He tailored the plan based on our preferences and weather on the day, and made sure we made the most of our time there. I did lots of research before picking this tour, and I'm very happy I went with Angkor Doors. The setup of having a break in the middle of the day works really well and lets you make the most of seeing the sunrise, exploring temples and seeing the sunset in 1 day, while also getting out of the heat and enjoying your hotel.

Best way to see the top sites!
Highly recommend this tour! My mom and I had a private tour with knowledgeable and hilarious guide Bunpheng. Bunpheng not only knew the history behind each site, but his years of experience also allowed us to see places in a different order from other groups to avoid crowds. Since we went at the hottest time of year (heat index of 118F the day we went), it was ideal to start before sunrise, have a few hours to nap and swim midday, and then finish with the sunset. Bunpheng and our driver had plenty of cold water and towels, as well as some neck fans to wear as we walked around the temples (huge help in combating the heat). Having a break in the air conditioning between temples made a huge difference as well. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

          Couldn’t have done it better.
There are so many choices when it comes to doing a private tour of Angkor. I made the decision to go with Angkor Doors on pure spec and was very glad I did. Our guide Bunpheng Chan was professional, cheerful, knowledgeable and insightful on the both modern and historical Khmer history and events. We took a half day air conditioned car (4 hour) tour and visited the Wat and Angkor Thom/The Bayon. We were given a choice of the Bayon or Ta Phrom ) Tomb Raider. Provided with cold scented towels, and water frequently.

          Definitely worthwhile
While the museum is simplistic and you can walk around on your own, I definitely enjoyed it. My highlight was having the honor of talking to a veteran who was there. If you see him and he asks for a donation, do yourself a favor and provide it and listen to his story. An incredible man and survivor that will always stay with me.

          Ankor Doors amazing guided tour
We used Ankor doors for a 2 day guided tour and it was fabulous! Pheng's English was good and his knowledge was great. It was very hot and water was provided all day. I don't think you can visit Ankor Wat without a guide to help you navigate the site and the history. Lots of other helpful info from Pheng inc quick stop to the local laundry for us!

Exceptional tour with friendly, knowledgable guide
This was an absolutely amazing tour! It covered everything you could want - and certainly all the highlights - in one day. We began before sunrise to get a good spot to watch the beautiful sunrise over Angkor Wat, before exploring inside and then two more temples. We then took a break and resumed in the afternoon. My guide had good English a wealth of knowledge about the sites and their history. He also knew the best routes and shortcuts to avoid the worst of the crowds. I highly recommend this tour.

          Amazing tour!
Our guide, Kosal, and our TukTuk driver gave us an amazing sunrise tour of the Angkor Wat temples complex for about 8h. They both came to pick us up on time at our hotel at 5am. Kosal’s deep knowledge of the architecture and history of the various temples provided us with all the information needed on the bouddhist and Hindu cultures, giving us a better perspective this mesmerising place. He is also a great photographer and has very useful tips for spots of where to take great photos. We definitely recommend him for everyone interested in tours in the region. Overall a tour to remember for years to come.

The Perfect complement to the small circuit tours
We had two days in Siem Reap, so we took a small bus tour of the Angkor Wat “small circuit” and enjoyed it. We knew that there was another “grand circuit” of temples, so we decided to do a personal tour of these temples by Angkor Doors. It was only $20 AUS more and we had a personal guide, driver and tuk tuk. A good move! Our guide, Bunpheng, was very knowledgeable. We experienced different temples to the other tour: these were generally the early temple sites of the 10th to 12th century: Phimeanakas, Preah Palilay, Preah Khan, Banteay Prei, Neak Poan, Ta Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup and Srah Srang. These temples are spectacular and are an important part of the site’s development… but they do not attract the huge crowds like Angkor Wat or Bayon Temple, so the experience is peaceful and contemplative. Bunpheng is a mine of historical information. We learnt so much about Buddhist and  Hindu culture and enjoyed the open air experience of tuk tuk travel. Yes, by all means, do the “small circuit“ tour of the most famous temples. But set aside a day to visit this other circuit. It is the perfect completion of the history of this unique and amazing 350 square kilometre historic site, unlike ANY other place in the world. And Bunpheng is the ideal person to bring it to life.

Trust me - book your Angkor tour with Bunpheng Chan.
Bunpheng Chan is everything you could ever want in a tour guide: super knowledgeable, funny as heck, passionate about the history / significance of what you're seeing... He was also really smart about avoiding crowds in what can be a very crowded place. What's more, he takes great photos! I cannot recommend him strongly enough as your Angkor Wat tour guide. (If it matters to you, his English is SOLID.)

          Excellent Guide
This was a private tour just by accident, but it was awesome. Our guide took us off the beaten path when there was opportunity to. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history of his country and his family's experiences. It was a long day full of so much information but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The best 3 days tour with Pal Chen at Siem Reap
We have spent 3 days in Siem Reap. Our guide Mr Pal Chen was very professional, extremely knowledgeable about all the sides and Cambodia in general and planned our 3 days perfectly. He is very caring and a pleasure to talk to. He suggested great restaurants and gave us plenty of good advices. He planned the sites so that we always avoided crowds. He knows how to make great pictures and my 2 sons were very happy to hear all the stories about Cambodia culture and history. I highly recommend Mr. Pal Chen to make your visit to Cambodia the most memorable one!!!

There is no better guide than Bunpheng Chan
I booked a 3 day trip with Angkor Doors and the wonderful Bunpheng Chan for a family of four (kids 10/12): Day 1: Angkor Wat sunrise and Ta Phrom: Day 2: Kulen Elephant Forest and Tonle Sap floating village; Day 3: Angkor Thom (Bayon/elephant terrace) and Preah Khan. I genuinely believe it’s impossible to find a better guide than. Bunpheng Chan. From the second I sent an enquiry email to the moment we finished our tour he was simply amazing. Efficient, prompt, friendly, genuine, good fun, extremely knowledgeable. Most of all how he interacted with the children, kept them engaged throughout temple tours, made everything fun for them with his stories, quizzes, massages, door counting… he really was the best we could have ever imagined. If I could recommend one thing about a trip to Siem Reap it would be to pick Bunpheng Chan as your tour guide!
