About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- UshmaN_120 contributionsGood but expensiveThe tour was interesting and the guide friendly and knowledgeable. A gift of scarves was well appreciated. We felt the price a bit high for what the tour entailed. Be prepared to add 20USD per person for Kulen mountain and another 20USD per person for the floating village. Also be prepared to be asked by the tour guide, for some money at various times to tip people.Written November 1, 2023
- 658vikrams0 contributionsAwesome Visits to Khmer Temples !!An awesome 4 days across many temples and monuments. Our trip was very well organised and planned especially to Kbel Spean, Banteay Srei and Koh Ker. They had excellent knowledge of history and always willing to share whatever they knew. I was interested in making unique photos and they were very helpful to get me those shots and suggested vantage points. I would definitely recommend them !!Written September 3, 2023
- jennifermO9645DG0 contributionsHooray!!We had a wonderful tour to Angkor Wyatt. Our guide was a total delight. As well as our driver. They both helped us have a wonderful sunrise and morning tour of three of the most spectacular temples. We also stopped for a bite to eat and that was a nice treat. Mean Young was a kind, knowledgeable guide and we’re so glad we went with him and Mr. Chaney our driver.Written July 6, 2023
- fast4wd0 contributionsAngkor Wat and more.Angkor Wat is an amazing archaeological site in Siem Reap. You cant help but be over awed by its age several centuries old, its size and being a monument to an ancient civilisation. Our tour guide Young, has a wonderful knowledge of the temples and can explain in detail the sculptural carvings on the walls in the temples. We also enjoyed hearing about his family's life under the Khmer Rouge and we also visited the Mining Rats and how they uncover the mines.Written July 1, 2023
- Gabi20230 contributionswonderful tour with guide BoyWe booked two day tours with Peacock Asia tours and were very pleased with our guide Boy who gave us a lot of information about his country, the people and the temples. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and welcomed our questions. His English is good and we always felt to be in good hands with him. Whenever we wanted to know something outside the history of the temples like about daily life, education or political situation etc, he could give us a comprehensive reply. We would definitely recommend his service.Written January 15, 2023

- DaveMorter0 contributionsGreat English speaking guide for your Angkor experienceWe shopped carefully for a guide who could: Communicate clearly in English and, had a good knowledge of the Temples and their history. MR Mean Young provided both these skill sets, along with a lot of enthusiasm and a good sense of humor. He simplified our life by providing the Tuktuk driver as well, and some good recommendations on schedule and tour planning. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a English speaking, license and companionable guide in Siem Reap.Written December 18, 2022
- 07-Sabera0 contributionsHoliday in Cambodia with Young as our guide.ALL of it. It was the people that made it special. Young was the best guide we ever had. He was kind and he did not rush us on our trip. He knew the history of the country.Written November 24, 2022

- dinnyj20190 contributionsA great albeit hot day with Seyha around Angkor Wat...Seyha was recommended by a friend. He was more our driver for the day. However, while driving he answered our questions in great details. He also helped to take our photos. We had a great lunch in Banteay Srei, where Seyha recommended.Written October 28, 2022
- SMey F0 contributionsUnforgettable tour to view Angkor Wat at sunrisePhon Seyha was our guide. He is cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic. He has good knowledge of the different temples and the history and shared much with us. He also offered cold drinks and to take many pictures for our family of 4. He went out of his way to help us change some foreign currencies at the banks/money changer. We enjoyed the trip a lot. I would recommend his service.Written August 12, 2022
- pfern20140 contributionsGood tour but...Good way to see the different key sights of Phnom Penh. However, we would have liked for our guide to talk a little more about Cambodia and Phnom Penh today and point out some current things about the city etc. All he wanted to do is talk about the Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge, which we did want to hear about, but we did not want that to be the only thing our guide focused on or would answer questions on.Written February 7, 2020

- Q3227Thina0 contributions5D4N Siem Reap Tour (Angkor Wat, 1000 Lingas, Kulen Waterfall, Floating Village)Without doubt Mr.Young, from Peacock Asia Tours is one of the amazing Tour guide we have met and we highly recommend booking your private tour with him. Apart from speaking good English and having an easy-going personality, he's attentive and efficient in working out the best to accommodate our needs. All the eateries he recommended were good, reasonably priced and tasty. He was punctual, and his transport was clean and comfortable. Young shared a lot of information and was open to suggestions and info-sharing too. We had such a great time exploring Siem Reap with Young, a true example of excellent tour guide!Written January 5, 2020
