This bike tour was one of my top three Siem Reap experiences. I highly recommend it. I had the pleasure of going on the countryside sunset tour. Booking was easy. The tour ended up being just me and my guide (lucky me!) - don’t worry if you do it alone. Seyha is a pro and was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Seyha picked me up via moto at my hotel and we set off for the bike shop. A few minutes later, we were off for a few hours bike tour of the countryside, riding off the beaten path along dirt roads and pathways through villages, rice fields and farms. We stopped along the way for photos, to visit a family farm and at a cemetery at my request. This tour was exactly what I had hoped for as I wanted to feel more immersed in the daily life of the community outside of the city. We ended the tour by watching the sunset at a local restaurant, relaxing in a hammock while drinking a cold Cambodia beer.

Tremendous experience! Bobo was a phenomenal guide and was very knowledgeable about the stops on the tour and biked at a great pace. We had a great stop at a scenic viewpoint and drank some fresh coconut juice. The booking experience through Nay was also very seamless, she was very helpful. Couldn’t recommend more for anyone on their first trip to Siem Reap—ask for Bobo!

We had a great biking trip through the countryside and the temples with our guide Bun Rath. He took us on a route through the countryside where there were no tourists, beautiful countryside and friendly locals. We experienced a beautiful sunset reflecting off of a lake. When we asked for a relatively challenging ride, Bun Rath responded by taking us on a 40 km route which was fantastic. One of the highlights of our entire vacation.

This is an excellent cycling tour if you want to remove yourself temporarily from the hustle and bustle of downtown Siem Reap. Starting out the front of their shop, my guide Bun Rath took me straight to the nearest dirt roads for some countryside scenery. Water buffaloes, rice paddies, vegetables farms, temples, and local families abound.
If you're a slightly stronger rider, Bun Rath can take you a little further. This may lead to some tricky exploration through a local village beside a knoll.
Bun rath has led an intersting lide and is very earnest. Would recommend do anyone interested!

We ere a mixed group of foreigners and Khmers. The conditions of all the bikes is perfect. The shop owner Mr. Bobo himself guided us on this tour through the amazing Cambodian countryside. When it started to rain we preferred to continue the tour, and it was an unforgettable experience. We recommend Angkor Cycling Tour in the strongest terms!

Incredible experience! Our guides were great from start to finish and were super helpful and knowledgable through it all. The route through the countryside was really beautiful, and we were able to even stop at a temple and a great viewpoint. The equipment and everything were great and we had no issues at all. This an experience I would recommend to everyone coming here!

SIEM REAP SUNSET COUNTRYSIDE CYCLING 🚴♀️ 🚴♂️🇰🇭
Had an Amazing Surreal Sunset Countryside Cycling with our Cycling Tour Guide Nhim Vannarath of Angkor Cycling Tour exploring Krong Siem Reap Cambodia.
It was a hot balmy 92 Fahrenheit / 32 Celsius with no fleeting clouds to shield us but the cool soft breeze from the rice paddies and exotic water lilies offered refuge.
It was magical. I’m Asian (from Philippines) but I’ve never seen a countryside so pristine and pure : rich red earth, water buffalos and white cows grazing languidly, the greenest rice paddies, 10th Century Temples, chickens, ducks, dogs all relaxed under the heat and warm friendly smiles from locals as we cycled through the rough terrain route.
We started at 2:30 pm directly from the Cycling Tour Office Building and finished back to the city around 7:00 pm - no service car to land us directly at countryside. It was a minimum 35 Mile Bike Route with Local Khmer Iced Coffee stops along the way and of course Instagramable selfies and photos.
It was a marvellous way to start and welcome The Year Of The Rabbit Chinese New Year.
Millions of tourists flock in Siem Reap every year to visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage temples of Angkor. While these temples are the highlight of every tourist visiting Cambodia, the countryside of Siem Reap tends to be overlooked and only a few chooses to explore off the beaten track and get to experience the beauty of Cambodia’s authentic rural lifestyle.
