Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- sebbyho910 contributionsA brilliant way to witness an ancient marvel. 10/10.This tour is amazing and 100% worth your time. Our incredible tour guide Pal Saruon is insightful, funny and passionate. Our wonderful driver Mr Wee is very thoughtful, providing ice cold water before each temple and cold towels after. Pal explained all facets of lore, history and the significance of each temple. (Not to mention his photography skills are fantastic!) Each temple is a staggering, beautiful piece of history that needs to be preserved and admired. Highlights: Sunrise at Angkor Wat and the many faces of the Banyon Temple. 10/10Written February 18, 2025
- emmapK119UR0 contributionsGreat history and photo spotsWe booked this tour last minute and it was wonderful! The tour operator wrote us a note with lots of helpful information the day before the tour. Our guide Samnang provided really great historical information and was a pro-level photographer and knew great photo spots. Our driver Maos was very attentive and always ready with cold water, a cold towel, and an air conditioned seat.Written February 18, 2025

- Laura D0 contributionsOne of the best tours we've ever takenI highly recommend this tour. I was impressed by Sam, our guide, his knowledge of the history of the temples and of the country. He shared interesting details about life in Cambodia, politics, religion and family traditions. The tour stopped at all the right places and even took a break for breakfast. Communication before the tour was impeccable. A great value for the amount of information and sights this tour included. Our driver was excellent and when we return to Siem Reap, my family will certainly look at more tours with this company.Written February 18, 2025

- GrahamLucan0 contributionsAngkor templesA long, hot, but fascinating day full of wonder. Our guide, Bun and the driver, Naro, took care of us as they guided us around some incredible temples including Angkor Wat and the Jungle Temple. It was a day that we will never forget. Huge credit goes to Bun and Naro for making this a truly epic day.Written February 18, 2025
- Relax034027551420 contributionsAmazing tour! The tour, guide (Mr Sok) and driver (Mr Vichet) were amazing! We spent the first day visiting some beautiful temples with an overview of when and who they were created by. There wasn't much information at each site, so it was really amazing to get a full picture of the history and culture of the temples. After each stop we were given icy water and cool towels to freshen up (after walking around in the heat it it was one of our favourite parts of the trip second to the iconic views). For the second day of our tour we were collected for sunrise at Angkor Wat. We were there with good time and were some of the first to arrive meaning that we got perfect spots right at the front. Again Mr Sok provided us with lost of information even offering to take some photos for us. He made sure at each site to give us some free time to explore, and told us where some of the iconic/ famous photos were taken. Thank you so much for an amazing time in Siem Reap, made so much better by joining this tour with Mr Sok and Mr Vichet!Written February 17, 2025

Mao was an excellent driver, and Sak spoke great English and was able to educate us on every temple we visited, as well as Cambodian history and culture. - CristianOriak0 contributionsIncredible 2 day tour! 10/5 ⭐️!Chaay was an amazing tour guide! I am incredibly pleased with how the tour went. We got picked up from our hotel, driven to the temples and given unlimited water. The bus had AC which was fantastic and the driver gave us cold wet towels after each temple to cool down. We also go umbrellas for when it got sunny out. The tour was fun, insightful and engaging! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to see the array of temples in the area.Written February 17, 2025
- Jon K0 contributionsA Hidden Gem!An excellent tour that will leave you astounded! Such beautiful sights to see. Our guide, Sok Chea was very knowledgeable about all things Cambodian. He was also very helpful taking photos and sharing. The driver was attentive and always had cold water and a cold washcloth to wipe your face. Highly recommended!Written February 17, 2025

- Q7481UZjl0 contributionsA compact but complete experienceIt was a great experience with good pacing. We were given enough time at each location to walk around on our own and feel satisfied that we got to see most - if not everything there. We also got plenty of chances to rest and recover between each location. Our guide Mr. Sok Chea gave a great introduction to each location, pointed out smaller details, and for the busier places such a Angkor Wat, he did a good job leading us through so we could see everything without getting too crowded in the process. He was also generous in offering to take photos of us all in front of especially impressive views. The bus driver Mr. W was also great, waving to indicate the bus, and standing ready with water and a cooled towel each time we returned to the bus. I'm glad I decided on visiting through a tour rather than trying on my own, as I think I would have become rather lost. The two day tour ended up being perfect for me. I worried at first that I wouldn't get to see enough of the temples, but we went to plenty and by the end I felt comfortably exhausted, tired but happy, and that I had had my fill of the temples and monuments. As a solo traveler I will also mention that I felt perfectly safe during the whole tour. I will also reiterate what so many other's mention, that touring the temples and monuments, especially Angkor Wat, is only complete if accompied by a visit to the national museum. There is an exibition that gives a lot of context for the different parts of the temple and the stories portrayed in the temple carvings, which I wish I viewed before visiting in person. Overall, I think this tour was a great use of my limited time in Cambodia.Written February 16, 2025
- Mark R0 contributionsVery educational tourExcellent tour guide (Sok) - very well spoken and knowledgable about Cambodian history. The time allocated to each temple was perfect and it was nice to see a few other sites as well.Written February 16, 2025

I chose this tour and had the pleasure of meeting our guide, Mr. Bun, and our driver, Mr. Dara. These two made an excellent team, ensuring that we felt completely comfortable throughout the entire experience. Thanks to their dedication, we were able to complete a rather packed itinerary smoothly and without any hassle.
Mr. Bun is a highly experienced guide with nearly 30 years of expertise. He provided incredibly detailed explanations about the history, religious background, and symbolic carvings of the temples across Siem Reap. If you’re someone who wants in-depth insights into the ruins, I highly recommend requesting Mr. Bun as your guide.
The number of tour vehicles around Siem Reap was overwhelming, but Mr. Dara always parked as close as possible to the sites, allowing us to hop on and off conveniently even in the heat. I highly recommend choosing this tour!

I done the 2 day sunset and sunrise temple tour and I have to say it's been one of my favourite tours to date on my 3 month journey around SE Asia. My tour guide Sokpee and driver Ro, I honestly can't praise them enough. They both were amazing from start to finish. Sokpee was so informative about the history of combodia and all the temples we visited during our two day tour. Sokpee took us round all the temples showing us all the amazing carvings and telling us all the history of each temple. The temples are amazing and all unique in their own way. Sokpee was there to show us all the best photo ops and always there with a helping hand to take photos. Which is great if your a solo traveller like me. Ro was always there waiting at the bus with some cold towels and cold drinking water which was a godsend when walking about in the heat. I would 100% recommend booking this trip will Sokpee if you want to know a little bit more about combodian culture and see some spectacular temples.

Our travel agent booked our tours with Journey Cambodia and we couldn’t be happier with our tour experience! Our tour guide was Sak and our driver was Mr. Usa - both men were extremely professional, helpful and personable - we felt like we were hanging out with good friends.
They picked us up from the airport and had a fantastic itinerary that allowed us a bit of wiggle room as a private tour to meet our wants (within reason!).
We were taken to purchase our temple pass and walked through that process by Sak before heading to Angkor to explore a temple before doing a hike up hill to see another temple and watch the sunset. It was evident right away that Sak was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what we were seeing an experiencing.
Every time we returned to the van the air conditioning was on and Mr. Usa handed us a cold facecloth with menthol and a bottle of cold water with a smile.
The next morning we were picked up from our hotel at 4:30am to head to Angkor Wat for the sunrise. Sak gave us the option to start a bit earlier to get a front row spot and it was worth it. He was very thoughtful and brought a flashlight to walk us in and plastic bags for us to sit on - this thoughtfulness was next level care!
As we explored temples on Day 2 Sak mentioned another temple that sounded incredible so we asked about the possibility of adding it to our itinerary for the next day. Sak contacted his head office and arranged to make it happen for a very reasonable price.
Day 3 we went out to Sonle Tap Lake and did a boat tour which was really cool then went to the ‘Pink Temple’ where we had lunch before exploring the grounds.
Mr. Usa and Sak dropped us off at the airport and made sure we had all our things. We had a really great time with them, learned so much about Cambodia and felt truly cared for during our time in Siem Reap.
We highly recommend Journey Cambodia and the services that Sak and Mr. Usa provided.

Our guide, Manirom was friendly and very knowledgable. Each day the tour lasted about 8 hours and there was a lot of walking involved. It was extremely hot (38c) but our driver provided cold cloths every time we got back onto the air conditioned bus and bottles of cold water were plentiful. Climbing Koulen to see the sunset wasn’t worth the effort as the sunset could have been seen just as well down by the lake. Not sure what I expected the sunrise over Angkor Wat to be like but it was a good photo opportunity. All the temples we saw were amazing. Manirom took us around a local village as we travelled between temples and this was a very worthwhile experience. We had to buy a three-day ticket pass to the temples ($62 each) but by the end of the second day we were ‘templed out’ and had no desire to use the ticket for a third day.

We had a great time doing the two day tour of Angkor Watt and surrounding temples. Our guide Pi was very knowledgeable and very funny. He did a great job of mixing in history during the tour, while also using his knowledge to beat the crowds. He's also a great photographer!
It was super worth it to have the bus and aircond with cold towels. Made the long hot days that much easier. Pi also knew where the best spots for sunset and sunrise were and helped us get the best of both.
We saw so much on the two day tour, but we wish we had an extra full day afterwards to go back on our own and explore some of the temples we saw on the tour. There's too much to see for 2 days. Highly recommend doing this tour to get the broad view of the area and then go back on your own to spend more time in some select temples.

Don’t think it twice and come to Cambodia 🇰🇭 My husband and I enjoyed our two-day tour with Journey Cambodia. The company is very professional and answered our questions about the temple tickets before the first day of the tour. The vehicle was very comfortable and our guide and driver were attentive and courteous. The temples we visited were breathtakingly beautiful. Our driver Sambath was the best, he offered a cold bottle of water and a cold refreshing towel every time we returned from a temple and the temperature was hot. At the end of our trip, after the last temple that we visited, he was waiting for us with a bag of fresh pineapple for us to enjoy on a hot afternoon. Our guide Sopheap was also nice, however he repeated the same information many times and it was very redundant, he didn't offer free time to explore the sites on day 1. On the other hand, he took many pictures of us on the different sites, explained in detail many facts about the temples, religion, history and Cambodian culture and agreed to give us some free time at Angkor Wat after the sunrise to explore on our own and we enjoyed it very much. I think Journey Cambodia is a good travel agency to book tours in Siem Reap and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers. Every single thing on the itinerary was included and we even received a complementary treat (palm fruit cake and coconut water) during our visit to the local village. What we did not like is that our guide tried to make us write a “five star” review in the lobby of the hotel when he was still with us. I completely understand that good reviews are essential for this industry, and if the service is good I don’t mind writing an honest good review, but I don’t appreciate the pressure and urgency of doing so right there and then. Needless to say, we declined the request and went to our room to take a long shower before writing this review.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your Private 2-Day Tour Temples with Sunset and Sunrise. We appreciate your feedback about your guide, Sopheap. Our tour guide Mr Sak took us to 9 different temples in Angkor Wat and even a quick stop at The Landmine Museum on the way to Pre Pup and Sunset tour. Mr Sak grew up in the area and very passionate about Angkor Wat. Each Temple is different and special. He also show up the areas to get the best photo shots. The driver was very good, we felt safe the entire trip which consists of 2 days, sunrise and sunset. The tour company did a 2 stop pick up because 2 of our friends stayed at a different hotel 10 mins away, no problem. If you book this 2 day tour, be sure to purchase your online ticket in advance. Each temple checked our tickets before admission. If you want to see various temples and not just main site angkor Wat, book the 2 day tour!

I had an incredible experience with Pha and Bun as our guides. They were both extremely attentive and welcoming from the moment they picked us up. We were greeted with water and a fresh towel, which was a thoughtful touch. The bus we traveled in was very comfortable, and I felt safe throughout the entire journey.
Bun, in particular, was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. He provided detailed explanations about the history and significance of the temples we visited, which enriched our understanding and appreciation of the sites.
One of the highlights of the trip was witnessing the sunrise at Angkor Wat, followed by visits to several other remarkable temples. This experience was truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend booking a guided tour with Pha and Bun. Their professionalism and warmth made the trip perfect in every way.

A fantastic couple of days exploring the temples of the Angkor region. Our guide Sak was awesome, very knowledgeable, extremely accommodating and I will even forgive him for the 4.20am start as we got an excellent view of Angkor Wat at sunrise. Our driver Keal navigated the traffic awesomely and was always on hand with cold towels and water each time we returned to the bus. I would highly recommend this tour especially at this time of year even though it is considered the low season.
Added bonus was Sak loved to take photos and did a great job picking spots and poses.

I recently took a trip to Cambodia with my family with Journey Cambodia as our tour company, and I it was a great experience! From start to finish, the entire trip was well-organized and seamless. The two-day itinerary was perfectly curated with a mix of temples and some Cambodian cultural experience thrown in. The sunrise at Angkor Wat was truly awe-inspiring.
Our guide, Mr. So, was pleasant and great with our kids (a 3.5 y.o. and almost 2 y.o.). He had a natural rapport with them, and it definitely helped us out to have an extra pair of hands. While the commentary could have been a bit more engaging (at times being a little repetitive), it was clear Mr. So was dedicated to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for the group.
The transportation - a minibus for our family of four, was always punctual, air-conditioned, and very comfortable. Mr. Sambath, our driver would hand out cold water and cool wipes which were very appreciated after coming back from the heat.

Since it’s a private tour, shouldn’t the price of $155 be for the private party? When I enter number of travellers -2, it shows the private tour now cost $310. Do we just select 1 traveller? Thanks

The charge is per person. So the price is doubled for 2 persons. I’m sure they will charge you proportionally if they see two people.

Does the tour guide take you through each of the temples or do you have to pay extra for a guide within the temples? I recognize that we have to buy a ticket for temple admission.

The guy took us through all the temples we didn’t have to pay any extra. The nicest part of it since it is very hot there was returning to a nicer condition Lexus with ice water and chilled towels between the temples my daughter and I had a wonderful two days and I would highly recommend it

Hi - What time does the first day start? I have a flight that will be landing in the morning at 9:40am and wanted to see if that would be too late to join.

I’m sure they can pick you up at the airport

I see that this tour doesn’t include a meal. So I am wondering around what time the tour finishes and if finishes later than 2-3pm, will we have a chance to drop by to grab something for lunch during the tour. Thanks!

Our hotel had service to pack lunches because it’s normal that people leave very early. We had a nice box lunch from the hotel. Check w the hotel.

If you already have your temple pass, you can leave at 4:45, depending on where you’re staying. It’s very early but we’ll worth it even if it’s overcast. Plus it’s so much cooler and less crowded.
