- nathbcn0 contributionsA high-quality Private Tour, excellent Guide!Excellent private tour, with a very complete program, I have learned so much during this visit. Angkor Wat, Ta Phrom, Bayon temples and Angkor thom city have been so fascinating to me, thanks to my wonderful guide Sopheaprath. Without him, I would have missed so many details to look at in every place, and so many cultural highlights. A private tour like this one is really worth the price for its quality, I would definitely recommend it to solo travelers like me, but also to couples and families : Sopheaprath was always available to answer my questions and was extremely knowledgeable on so many subjects . By far the best private guided tour I had since years, it will let me lasting memories.Written March 23, 2025
- tanjawW2397FM0 contributionsNice but maybe better in wet seasonWe were there at dry season and I think in wet season it might be more interesting. Also we didn’t went into the forest. The information that the guide give us was really interesting though! He and the driver were super friendly :)Written March 23, 2025
- Celia P0 contributionsFantastic cooking classWhat a wonderful experience, we have absolutely loved the Cambodian food so to have the opportunity to make some of our favourite dishes was such a treat. So well organised from the hotel pick up to the market tour, then cooking and finally eating the delicious dishes. Highly recommend this course to any foodies out thereWritten March 23, 2025
- D1830SSannav0 contributionsGreat experience with Mare and James Bond 🙂The experience has been amazing! The place of Angkor Wat, and other temples we have visited were magical. It was the equinox on this date, so there were a lot of people, but our guide - Mare knew the best spots for sunrise watching! Mare was great! Prior the tour the communication was understandable, clear and we have gotten all of the needed details and instruction, so we knew what should we expect. Pick up in the morning was without any problems and on time. Mare provided us with interesting historical facts and other interesting insights about Cambodia and he made it fun as well! It was overall very good experience! So recommending Mare, the tour and without a doubt also Mr. Driver a.k.a James Bond (who supplied us with smiles, and water all the time) - 100%! ☺️Written March 23, 2025

The Small-Group Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour was an unforgettable experience! Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat was absolutely magical, and the early start was well worth it to see the temples before the crowds arrived. Our tour guide, Mr. T, made the experience even better—he was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the Angkor complex, but also super funny, keeping the group entertained throughout the tour. His storytelling skills brought the temples to life and made the entire journey so enjoyable.
The itinerary was well-planned, covering highlights like Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, and the Terrace of the Elephants. Having a guide like Mr. T ensured we didn’t miss any key details while exploring these iconic sites. At just AU$30.06 per person, this tour was fantastic value, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Be sure to request Mr. T for a tour filled with laughs and amazing insights!

The Angkor Wat tour was nothing short of extraordinary! From start to finish, the tour was perfectly organised, and every detail was thoughtfully planned.
Chong was incredibly knowledgeable, providing fascinating historical insights and captivating stories about Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. He went above and beyond to make the experience enriching and enjoyable, answering all our questions with patience and passion. Chong is a beautiful human and great humoured guide. He’s a skilled photographer sharing hints how to get the best photos from the best spots.
The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to fully soak in the beauty and grandeur of the temples without feeling rushed. The sunrise tour of Angkor Wat was breathtaking—a truly magical moment I’ll never forget.
Transportation was seamless, and the comfort of the vehicles made the journey stress-free.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap—it’s an unforgettable journey into history and culture. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience!”

Just returned from an all day guided tour of Angkor Wat
We started at 4:30 am and our tour guide Chanthy Touch (aka Indiana Jones) was exceptionally good at making sure we did not get held up by any of the larger groups around us.
We were kept well watered and provided with cold towels that made a big difference on such a hot day. Chanthys commentary was both personal and informative. Well worth booking would strongly recommend

For us, this was a private tour because it was just 2 of us. If this is your first time at Angkor Wat, I highly recommend a tour with a guide instead of trying to navigate the big complex on your own. The guide knew exactly where to stand for a good view of the sunrise, how to get the best photos, where to stop for coffee and breakfast etc. He took us to 4 major temples (short tour). We started at 4:30 a.m. with hotel pick up and we were back at our hotel by about 1 pm, about 8.5 hours, including a break for breakfast and coffee. Our guide Huot was very good and knew exactly how to navigate the complex and showed us the major sculptures and carvings.

Noy was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! On top of being very funny and making sure the group stuck together he was one of the most educational tour guides I heard giving a tour in Angkor Wat. He had detailed information not just on the temples but on the actual history on Hinduism and Buddhism. He explained everything in an educational funny way and made the trip enjoyable for everybody. He made sure the group stuck together and when I fell asleep on the steps for the sunrise he made sure to wake me up. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a great guide. He was passionate about what he does and I think that’s what made it so enjoyable. Because he is enjoying what he is doing and made it much more enjoyable for everyone else as well. Also, he made sure to avoid the large crowds and take us in the back entrances of all the temples. He knew all the best routes and ways to go to avoid all the crowds but we still got all the best pictures.
Thank you Noy for an amazing day and I hope to see you again!
I would also highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great way to spend the day while also not spending an arm and a leg on a private tour guide. The small group was PERFECT.

This tour was great. Mr T our tour guide was very communicative and gave us an in depth lesson on the history of the temples but was also really funny. We managed to miss a lot of the big queues and although we were waiting for the sunrise it meant we were first on the lake to view it. One thing to note is the lunch is at a slightly more expensive lunch spot ($7 for food), but just bring your own food if you don’t want to buy. Always had water to give us and toilet breaks when we needed. The bus was very comfortable and the driver Mr T 2 was very good and never made us feel unsafe.

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour and particularly enjoyed our tour guide “Mr. T” (Vuthy) and his sidekick “T2”. Although it was cloudy at sunrise, and we got rain throughout much of the morning, the temples we visited were truly impressive. We started the day at sunrise for the “main” Angkor Wat temple and Mr. T ensured that we arrived early enough to get a great spot to watch the sunrise. After the main temple, we then immediately went to the “Tomb Raider” temple; by going there immediately after we finished Angkor Wat, we were able to beat the crowds, which made a huge difference in the quality of the overall experience. From there, we took about an hour to have breakfast/lunch and then went to a temple which had not yet been restored before ending our tour at Angkor Thom, which was surprisingly beautiful. We didn’t really know that we’d visit so many different, interesting temples. While the tour would’ve been very good under any circumstances, what made the tour great was “Mr. T” and his sidekick T2. Mr. T was informative, funny, patient, and extremely helpful throughout. He made a conscious effort to make sure he showed us the best viewing spots and spots to take pictures - and he took countless good pictures of all folks of the tour group. We would highly recommend taking this tour and, if you can, we’d recommend that you ask for “Mr. T” to be your guide - he was fantastic!

Amazing tour! The temples are magnificent and Chong, the guide is very kind, which makes it even better. I would just recommend you to take your own food for the lunch (which is at 10am), because the restaurant is quite pricy (6-7$). No worries, it is allowed

This half day trip is a fantastic introduction to the temples, and well worth the early start to see sunrise at Angkor Wat.
We got picked up around 4.30am and the food stop is after visiting the 1st 2 temples around 9.30am ish, so make sure you back a snack if you're likely to get hungry.
Our guide was Chanthy aka Indiana Jones and our Driver James Bond. Throughout the trip these guys made it seemless, & we were known as the Indiana Jones family for the day 😄 Chanthy was very informative, and made sure we had time to explore and get all the photos we wanted, he also took photos for everyone in all the good spots.
We ended up getting the 3 day Angkor Heritage pass so we could return and do some more temples at our own pace, however this trip was an excellent place to start, and would highly recommend. A must do especially if you're on a tight timeline.
A special bonus there were lots of lovely folks from around the globe on our tour, so it was great to have a chat, even if the trip was only half a day it made it a memorable experience.
P.s we got recommeded to visit the Amazon Angkor Hotel for evening buffet and traditional dancing show, check it out if you have the time we really enjoyed that too!!

We had a great time in the company of our extraordinary guide Mr. T!!!
He took the time to explain to us the differences entered each temple, give us small reminders about the hostory of Cambodia, and all this with humor and relaxation.
I recommend this tour, it is a very good value for money to visit the main temples and see a beautiful sunrise.
