- 459serinem0 contributionsSiem Reap Street Food TourOne of the best street food and experience tours I've done! Handsome is such an amazing tour guide, so funny and charismatic. It didn't feel like I was on the tour with a tour guide, it felt like a long time friend who lived in the local area was showing us around his favourite restaurants and shops. Don't be afraid to try the insects! The little frog and grasshopper were actually pretty good, I went back for seconds! I had so much fun, I'll definitely be booking it again next time I'm in Siem Reap. If you book this tour (highly recommended) ask for Handsome! You absolutely will not regret it.Written December 1, 2024

Definitely must-do experiences in Siem Reap! After having an amazing guided tour at the Angkor Wat with the wonderful guidance of Bopha, we decided we wanted to do another tour with this company. We booked a countryside bicycle tour to Tonlé Sap (lake) with the charming guide Voleak. Two activities I would recommend everyone to do, especially with the Siemreaper and these two guides in particular of course! This tour was amazing! My guide Lot was the best. The tuktuk arrived in time and on our way to Angkor Wat he already tells us a lot of information. Because of him we can skip te line and in 5 minutes we can go back in the tuk tuk on our way to see the sunrise. He knows al the best spots so we first wait on the library and then at sunrise we go to the best place to take pictures. After that we go in the temple and he tells us everything about it. Whatever you ask him, he knows it. And he likes to explain it.
After that we have a super nice breakfast in a local restaurant (bring anti musquito)! Early in the morning we bike to another tempel. The bikes look brand new! We mountainbike trough the jungle and its super nice to see the local villages.
We visit al the tempels and Lot knows everything and more about it. There is enough water and also cold towels. We stop for Some fruit and local sugar drink. After that we go to another tempel. Lot again knows the best spots to take pictures.
Finally we have a local lunch and rest a bit. The tuktuk brings us back to the hotel. Everything was super! However if you don’t like biking or you are not fit than maybe book another tour. But to me this was the best way. I have so many pictures so a only uploaded a few to give you an impression. Even on our way back to the hotel Lot is giving us more information about Cambodia

This bike tour was the highlight of my trip to Siem Reap. Everything was very well organized as provided in the description of the tour. We were picked up on schedule from our hotel, we arrived in time to get amazing Angkor Wat sunrise photos, and we ride through the Angkor complex, seeing so much more on bikes! Wonderful tour, wonderful equipment, wonderful meals, great guides! It comes highly recommended!

Me and my partner booked this tour through our hotel and certainly were not disappointed. Our guide, Ben and driver Ven were excellent throughout. We loved getting off the beaten track and away from the busy crowds. We hit the temples at just the right times all down to Ben's local knowledge. The cycling through the jungle was amazing, we even caught sight of two elephants, Ben knew just the right spot. Ven was on hand at every stop with fresh local fruit and snacks and the two stops for breakfast and lunch were just the right start and end to a busy day.
I would say if you are short on time and want to miss some of the crowds with an excellent guide and driver, this is the tour for you.

This experience is unmissable, definitely the best way to see the Angkor complex. My guide, Son, was the highlight of the experience. His historical knowledge and English ability was exceptionally good, and was able to confidently answer all my questions and provide me with such detailed information. He was a fantastic ambassador for Siem Reap and I'd love to have another tour with him when I return!
The bike ride route was fantastic, getting to see local village life before arriving at the main Angkor Thom City entrance. The route inside led us through the main temple architecture and wall carvings with great context given by my guide, Son. Then, when I didn't think it could get better, the boat ride at sunset - wow. Taking a calm dragon boat out on the moat, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, into the tranquil waters. Local handmade food was provided alongside a fresh coconut drink and Angkor Beer. It really was a highlight of my month-long trip.
Once again, one more thanks to Son. He was the foremost reason I had such a pleasant, educational and exciting time at a place I was so looking forward to visit. I couldn't have asked for a better guide.
All in all, would absolutely recommend this experience (whether sunrise or sunset) to anyone travelling to Siem Reap!

Was a great day out with our brilliant guide Sotim despite unfortunate weather. If you are going check the forecast; if it’s due to be heavy rain the cycle can be pretty muddy so don’t wear your best clothes (we were slightly unprepared for the weather). We made the most of it though, having an awesome day seeing all the temples with our informative and positive guide Sotim. He really helped us have a lot of fun and took us through some really cool paths in the jungle around Angkor Wat. Would also suggest having a small snack before the tour as was pretty hungry by the time we had breakfast.
Overall, would recommend if you’re willing to spend a bit for a full day as you can explore the temples yourself for much cheaper but we thought it was definitely worth it for the cycling and the guide. Thank you Sotim.

The Sunrise Bike Tour was a great way to explore the temples of Angkor. The views were stunning, especially the sunrise over Ankor Wat. Our guide Sarak was so knowledgeable, he told us many fascinating stories about the ancient times in the Khmer Empire. He, his young assistant and our driver Makara took excellent care of our 8px group (ages 30 to 62). The bikes were in good condition, pre-adjusted for each person, the food was nice, and deviations from the route were enabled for those who felt bit tired at the end. Highly recommend siemreaper.com!

Siem Reaper tours were outstanding to deal with prior to arriving in Cambodia. They were prompt in replying and what they offered was delivered on as described and in most instances it exceeded our expectations. Even tho I kept changing my mind about whether to do a 5 day cycling adventure or just a couple of day cycle tours they responded with patience and a smile. Booking and payment was easy. Communication top notch. The tour itself was 5*. Rith was our guide and he was superb. What he did differently was he changed how we visited the temples, we saw everything all the other tours did but he chose access entries away from crowds so we could hear what he was saying, spend longer in places that really interested us and we could enjoy the tour at a pace that you never felt you were just being herded through.Professional, great knowledge, he kept us safe, entertained and made sure the tour was authentic and fun. We started with a tuktuk to watch the sunrise at Angkor, this was followed by a day of cycling, eating and exploring. We highly recommend this tour travelling by bike, you get around quickly, see lots more than if on a bus tour, be off the beaten track to enjoy a bit of sand and jungle track riding but also have time to stop , enjoy and take in the amazing temple complexes. What made this tour special was the team with us. If you can ride a bike you can do this tour. Thank you Rith you were brilliant.

Incredible tour— the only way I’d want to do the Angkor Temples. Our guide, Handsome, did an amazing job — he got us to hidden viewing spots, led us through quiet trails and roads, made sure we stayed hydrated and comfortable, and gave tons of historic and cultural information during the temple tour. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and included. Worth the price, would recommend to anyone (as long as you’re comfortable with biking on mixed terrain). Thank you Handsome!

We had an amazing day with our fantastic guide Sun. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions very well.
We arrived at Angkor Wat at 5.00 am to see the sunrise but it was a bit cloudy so it wasn’t very spectacular but we still got some good photos thanks to good information from Sun as to the best place to be for a good picture.
We stayed at the temple for about two hours before going to a little traditional restaurant to have breakfast which was very good.
We then collected our bikes and cycled to the next temple which was just as impressive (a bit smaller) as Angkor Wat. It was very hot and humid and so I decided to take the tuk tuk for the last leg of the journey and my husband continued to cycle. We had cold water and towels to refresh ourselves through the day. The last temple was very beautiful with giant trees growing out of and around the temple buildings. This was our favourite temple, so natural and some of it had been restored extremely sympathetically, so much so that you could hardly tell unless you examined the structures closely. We then headed off to a very nice air conditioned restaurant (well needed by this stage!) where we had very traditional Cambodian food which was delicious.
I would definitely recommend this tour it was comprehensive, informative and we both came away feeling that we had gained a lot from the experience. Sun was really lovely to spend the day with, a very interesting and engaging person.
