About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- kathrynbV7618KS0 contributionsThe best tour guides!I had the most incredible experience visiting Angkor Wat, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering this awe-inspiring journey. The temples are truly magnificent, and the sheer scale and beauty of the site left me speechless. Our guide Silong (John) was knowledgeable, passionate, and went out of his way to make the tour both educational and fun. He provided fascinating historical insights and stories, and made our group feel like a family for the day. He also took many pictures of us for our instagram/ facebook, not only a tour guide but a photographer. We visited several temples beyond Angkor Wat itself. If you’re planning to visit, be sure to take a guided tour with Siem Reap Shuttle Tours to fully appreciate the rich history and culture of the place. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’m grateful to have had. It was well worth the cost of the tour. I was picked up from my hotel at 8am, and dropped back to my hotel at 7pm in an air conditioned vehicle. Cold water and towels were provided throughout the day and we were taken to a restaurant to buy our lunch. 1000% recommend, thank you to Silong and our amazing driver. Ngā mihi nui (thank you very much)Written December 14, 2024
- DavidO0 contributionsDay at the templesWe took a small group tour (12 people). Tour guide John took great photos of us on differenet spots, he was very kind and smiling a lot, he wasn’t pushy or leading us into turist traps. He also kindly recommended us tempels we could visit the next day. We had our lunch in restaurant with reasonable prices (5-7$ per person without drinks). Group moved a bit slow for us, also sometimes it was hard to understend what our tour guide was saying, because of the noise in the temples and a different accent — I guess that would be less of a problem if we took privat tour. All in all we would recommend this tour and company.Written December 14, 2024

- P2987XDjone0 contributionsInformative, great day at the Angkor templesI had a great time with our guide Chou Silong who was informative, clever, clearly passionate about Angkor Wat, Cambodia and so knowledgeable. We had a great time at the temples and got lots of great memories. The tour was well planned, just long enough and we got taken care of by Chou the whole time. Would strongly recommend!Written December 13, 2024
- ptD353IE0 contributionsSenda me Chenda for my next visit to CambodiaLast minute decision to complete my final day in Siem Reap with a tour of Kompong Phluk, the floating village at Tonle Sap. The group consisted of the van driver, long-boat pilot, an Australian couple, the tour guide Chenda, and myself. What a great afternoon, from about 14:00 to sunset and then the evening return to Siem Reap. There was a great spirit in the group and we were guided with great insight; and the conversation with Chenda was very informative. He knows his history, culture, geography, politics, and he gave evidence of learning from conversations with many of his previous patrons from other parts of the world. He received our questions and picked up on those questions to teach us much more. He had good humour, facilitated our photo-ops, became the photographer with our cameras, and took photos of his own and AirDropped them to us. Very engaging and knowledgeable, Chenda is a guide I would recommend without hesitation. Otherwise, the tour company was on-time, the rendez-vous convenient (at the hotel), and the price was reasonable.Written December 13, 2024

We accidentally got our pickup time wrong for the tour and were about 20mins late, but the pickup driver luckily came back for us after picking someone else up to take everyone to the central location before we all went into our different minivans. Would recommend you contact the tour company to confirm pickup time just in case so you are 100% sure when to wait in the lobby.
We had Cherry (Chierry) as our guide and there were only 4 of us on the tour.
Cherry is very informative and helpful and has a great sense of humour.
We visited 5 temples in total in the scorching heat so the minivan was a blessing. They provided 2 bottles of water each throughout the whole day but depending on number of people on the trip, may gave you more.
Lunch was really nice too and not too expensive though expect to pay a couple of dollars more than the city as it's a tourist area. Restaurant was very modern and clean unlike the one we went to near the small circuit temples.
Cherry went the extra mile in helping us take photos, so lucky we had him as our guide!

Located some 40 km north of Siem Reap, the 10th-century temple of Banteay Srei is much smaller and older than Angkor Wat. The walls and arches of the main building were filled with intricate and beautiful carvings, certainly a photographer's delight. The surrounding areas were lush and pleasant for strolling. The other temples we visited were in varying degrees of decay but they were also very interesting, including one that was surrounded by a lake. In another temple, there was a "maze" of corridors and more interesting wall carvings but easy to get lost. Our group of eight people was very friendly and the entire tour took about 8 hours to complete. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a worthwhile tour and nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the City especially on a hot day.

Our tour guide (he goes by Touch) took us through an illustrated storytelling tour of the temples. It was very nice to look at all the carvings with an understanding of what was going on (although I will not remember so many gods’ names). The tour was also a good day of physical activity as these visits required to climb steps and walk through uneven rocky ground; but our guide and the driver always kept us supplied with cold water to fend off the heat exhaustion. They also ensure he was a cool vehicle and umbrellas.
We were lucky to visit all the temples without the thousands of tourists that these places usually attract, so we walked in a sort of meditative state though quiet areas filled with the sound of the nature outside.
Additionally, Touch also made sure we got good pictures as he knew very well the best spots (and poses) to capture instagram/ Facebook/ TikTok worth images.
There is only one thing that everyone needs to be aware of: the food inside the park (despite being almost doubled in price) is not as good as in the city. You might want to bring your own snacks if you have dietary restrictions.

I did three tours this week and unfortunately this one was ranked #3.
The pickup was in time and we were shuttled to the meeting point. The communication lacked a little bit as we were just asked to get out of the van but no one told us were to go, wait or which bus to enter. After some conversations the right bus was found and after another 20-30 minutes the tour started.
The temples which we visited were interesting and the time slots we were given for every location were fine.
Unfortunately, the guide was not as I would have expected. After I entered the bus and we took off, the guide seemed quite annoyed, asked different questions (if anyone had seen a wallet, which hotels we were staying in for organisational purposes etc) without even introducing himself, telling us about the program or any smile. When he had to repeat a question 2 times as no one of the group understood the question he almost shouted at the customer. For me, quite unprofessional. A few minutes before we arrived at the first stop he took the mic, put on a smile and started explaining but it did not feel like he was really enjoying any part of it. During about half of the temples there was only a short explanation and while we were exploring the sights, he was busy texting with his smartphone. In comparison to other tours, this service was unfortunately not comparable.

We regret that this guest expected something more than he received. Our guides work hard and try hard to please all the guests. They are normally successful. It sounds like he was having a very testing day and his vigour and patience were wearing thin. This can happen when people ask unnecessary questions and ask him to find wallets etc. We can only apologise and thank this guest for his feedback.

We had a wonderful day at Banteay Srei. The site is small but nevertheless amazing due to the intricate stone carvings made by the ancient people of Cambodia. Our tour guide Dara adds up to the fun as he is funny and gave us a lot of information about the history and culture of the ancient Khmer people. The only downside of this tour is the restaurant where you’ll have your lunch. The food is expensive and not really good. I hope they will find a new restaurant to bring the tourist. I would have rate it 5 star if we went to a good restaurant to eat.

I did the Banteay Srei tour with Sothea as the guide. He's very energetic about photography and the sites. I appreciate that the company ran the tour even though there was only one other person on the itinerary the day of, rather than trying to move us to a different one. Because of the good experience all around, I booked two more day trips rather than my original plan to rent a bike and visit Angkor for my subsequent visits.

This was our second day visiting the temples with Sok.
He chose the temples at Ankor Thom that he thought we would be most interested in, and he was right.
All of them were beautiful and he explained the history and pointed out so many things that only an experienced guide would know.
He is courteous, very friendly and so knowledgable, and we could have spent many days with him, listening to the history of this fabulous area.
We spent a full day(10 hours with him), and if the temples hadn't have been closing, we could have spent many more hours in his company.
We were supplied with plenty of water and taken to an air conditioned restaurant for lunch (cost not included).
We were also given an insight in to general Cambodian life including his own family and his life.
He also sent us the wonderful photos and a video of our day.
Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and sensible footwear and then just enjoy the wonders of Ankor and Soks expertise.

The Banteay Srei Backcountry Tour with Panha was an unforgettable experience. Having taken a tour with Siem Reap Shuttle previously, we had high expectations, but Panha exceeded them all. The tour covered the grand circuit, which takes visitors to temples of similar quality and significance of the small circuit, but with the added benefit of fewer tourists. This made our visit much more intimate and enjoyable.
Panha is an exceptional guide. Not only is he knowledgeable about the history and culture of the temples we visited, but he also has a dynamic and adaptable approach to leading the tour, catering to our interests while also sharing his personal and entertaining stories. He has a deep understanding of his country and the people, while also making us feel that we truly connected.
The tour covered a lot of sites, and by the end, we were a bit fatigued, but that didn't dampen our experience at all. The temples were definitely a highlight, which were breathtakingly beautiful and historically significant. It was a real treat to visit some of the less-crowded sites, such as Neak Prean, which were just as impressive as other famous temples but with a more serene atmosphere.
Panha was also extremely gracious and hospitable throughout the tour, never expecting or soliciting gratuities. A memorable experience was our stop for street food. He went as far as gifting us food he received from the vendors, a truly generous and unexpected act of kindness. When we gave him a tip at the end of the tour, he surprised us by giving all of it to our driver, showing his dedication to his team and his humility. It was surprising to hear that he is new to the company since his service and hospitality were on par with that of a seasoned veteran.
Overall, the tour was an outstanding experience, and we highly recommend them to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Panha is an exceptional guide who truly made our trip special, and we can't thank him enough for the memories we'll cherish.

Great and very organized tour! I highly recommend this tour as alone I would have never been able to see 6 temples in the same day. Our guide, Mr. Narath is very knowledgeable and shared with us a lot of detailed informations not only about ancient history of Angkor City but also about the dramatic recent story of Cambodia.
As a plus we also stopped to the Landmine museum and it was a very educative and touching experience. Thank you so much!

This tour was a bit off the beaten track, so it was a small tour, which made it a nicer trip. I opted not to see all 5 temples as my feet were killing me from seeing a bunch of temples the day before. Banteay Srei is the best of these temples. It was carved from a harder sandstone, so the sculptures are in great condition.

You have to buy the temple pass which will enable you to get into all temples including Bentey Srei. Temple pass comes in 1 day 3 days or a week. Price for one day 37, 62 and 75. I’m not exactly sure. But 3 days we took it was 62 per head
