An amazing and fascinating experience with a very well informed and friendly guide named Sorphea who spoke English. We stopped and walked through a local market, sampled foods and spoke to vendors. Our guide was happy to keep stopping and explain what was being sold, where the produce, fish, meat or other goods came from . We then continued on to Tonlé Sap Lake where we boarded a local boat and and motored through a traditional village built on stilts. We also had the opportunity to walk through the houses as it was their dry season. The whole tour felt super genuine and not touristy. We hope to be back to experience the village during wet season when the landscape will look totally different. Sorphea did a great job of explaining how the locals lived, their culture, hardships and opportunities and how the area differs from season to season. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would ask for Sorphea the next time we come.

Van Lonh is a lovely, knowledgable and friendly guide. We had a great time at the afternoon tour. He picked us up on time, spacious airconditioned car, had available face masks, water, and hand sanitiser, baught us a nice sback on the way, answered all our questions and shared stories with us during the 40 minute drive to the canal. we saw the floating village both from the boat and inside by foot, met friendly people, visited a small restaurant on the lake, everything so beautiful and interesting Highly recommnded!

This is a FANTASTIC tour and should not be missed! Our guide Sata was excellent and kept us well-informed about the local culture and floating village life. We were able to view the houses on stilts from the water and also went to the village street where we were greeted by friendly children. He took us up into one of the houses and spoke to the family which was very interesting! We also went out to a floating restaurant on the lake for the cool breezes and some coconut water. He took us to a local market and we saw so many local fruits and meats...very cool! All around great experience!

Our guide Sata, spoke very good English and had all the knowledge to go along with this tour.
Apart from the amazing scenery of the lake and the village, the most beautiful part of the trip was being able to purchase books and pencils and personally give these to the school kids.
I would 💯 recommend this tour with Sata.

This is the perfect tour if you want to experience real life in a very special part of Cambodia. Sath, the guide, and Sakkane, the driver, were waiting in the hotel lobby as agreed at 8am, and the bus was super clean and comfortable.
We loved vising the rural market before taking the boat to the amazing fishing village of Kampong Phluk. The village residents are extremely welcoming and it was amazing walking along the main road with the homes on stilts towering above us. Highlights included visiting the school and a private home.
We ended the tour by taking a boat to a floating café in the middle of Tonle Sap Lake.
Sath is a great tour guide, and a lovely man too. Sakkane is a safe driver and good company too. We highly recommend this tour!

Memorable tour of Kampong Phluk village and Tonle Lake with our guide Sath. He is an excellent guide and both he and the driver were very professional and courteous. Sath was also very considerate to the local community which was great to see.

My guide was Sath. The tour proceeded at my pace and accordingly was most enjoyable and richly informative. (I am old and go at a leisurely pace as. I want to really experience and learn and photograph.) To explore the village at height of the dry season, realizing that half of the year boat is only transport, was fascinating. Village wat also fascinating as it is massively scene painted. Very much worth the cost.

Just wow! Spending a little extra for the private tour was well worth the investment. Everything ran so smoothly and we had the most lovely day. Our guide was a real gem and made the day extra special for us. Lohn is super personable and knowledgeable. He made sure we were always comfortable and shared so much about Cambodian culture and history. The day was really well organized and flowed nicely. Even in the dry season, I wouldn't skip Tonle Sap.
