- Joanna G0 contributionsExcellentWe had an excellent guide who explain the history of Angkor Wat Temples extremely well, We asked many questions in which he answered thoroughly and precise without any hesitation. We all enjoyed our Viator tour and will certainly recommend it. Once again we would like to thank our guide for taking care of us.👏👏Written February 15, 2025

We were traveling with a family group which was a grandma and grandpa a mom and a dad and two kids ages 10 and six. He was extremely prompt and meet us at 5 o'clock at the hotel. He bounced the day well with history for some of the grandparents a break for the grandkids and a wonderful six hours where we explored so many things in Cambodia.Written February 12, 2025

- janetcL9390FE0 contributionsAmazing tour with Nak and BillyWe had the best time with Nak (our tour guide) and Billy (driver). Nak was so knowledgeable of the history of Kulen Mountain and Buddhism. He managed our tour so that we were able to avoid crowds and took the most amazing photos too! The waterfalls were absolutely breathtaking and the other sites were great to experience as well. I would definitely recommend this tour and Nak and Billy!Written February 11, 2025

- lonnieo20250 contributionsA need to see experienceReally enjoyed this tour. Great views. The walk in stilt village felt very invasive to me, but the beautiful people who lived there really seemed either ok or used to it. There was no picking up, not dropping off, anyone at a hotel or accommodation. Told to meet at their location. All dropped off by old market/pub street. Worked out fine. Told there would be no time for meal on tour….which would have been nice in floating restaurant. Hope to do again in flood season. And to go on separate mangrove tour.Written February 11, 2025
- 883stenp0 contributions5 star review ⭐️ for our tickets serviceSuper easy to book and pay for admission (Angkor Wat Admission Ticket) to Angkor Wat. Our passport (tickets) were delivered to our hotel as we arrived. Our contact person PISETH was very helpful and kept in contact with us during our full stay to make sure everything was okay.Written February 11, 2025
- Andrew H0 contributionsSo very interested.Pat was our tour guide. His English was great and the depth of his knowledge was amazing. We ended up with a very small group of just four of us and Pat was able to show us where to take the best pictures.Written February 10, 2025
- nataleks0 contributionsChasing waterfallsGreat tour of Kulen waterfalls and 1000 Lingas. We were lucky enough to have a private tour with Sorphea. He and our driver, Mom, promptly picked us up at our hotel. Sorphea was a wealth of knowledge , from the temples , Khmer culture and local flora and fauna. Not only did we get to see the natural beauty of Kulen Mountain, but also learned so much at the temple and 1000 Lingas. Cambodia is a rich tapestry of Buddhism and Hinduism. The tour was complete with a traditional lunch and palm cake tasting. Mom was an excellent driver : the car was clean & air conditioned. Mom was always available within minutes of completing a tour location and he navigated some tricky roads. Great day and great tour guides!Written February 10, 2025

- T5590UDpauls0 contributionsAmazing historical siteFantastic tour with Sophy around the Angkor Wat site. An absolutely incredible place to see and lots of history from our guide about the events that have shaped the site throughout the centuries. Essential to see if you're coming to Siem Reap. We took my one year old daughter on the tour too and she loved it, even got to see a monkey up close and Sophy was great with her too.Written February 10, 2025

- U248DGbarryb0 contributionsSuperb serviceI booked a taxi both for the trip from Sihanoukville Airport to the ferry boat pier and on the return from the ferry to the airport. While both trips were excellent, I want specifically to compliment Viator on the return trip from the ferry. We had booked a ferry from Saracen Bay on Koh Rong Sanloem to the ferry leaving Saracen Bay at 6:30 a.m. When booking that ferry, Buva Sea lead us to believe we'd arrive by around 7 a.m. to the ferry landing in Sihanoukville. The water ferries are notoriously erratic and, in fact, we did not arrive until 8 a.m., as Buva Sea made at least 5 additional stops to pick up passengers after we left Saracen Bay. I had no easy way to alert Viator, but the taxi service made a point of checking the ferry's progress and the driver was waiting for us with a sign when we arrived.Written February 10, 2025

Sophy was a knowledgeable guide who took time to explain history of local village, lake and river. Had good command of English and explain slowly and clearly and answered all our questions.
Peab was a very safe driver who took care of our water needs and provided cold towels.
Boat driver (I don’t know his name) took us around the lake was quite but courteous and helped us get on and off the bat. We felt very safe in his boat.

The excursion to Tonle Sap Lake was amazing. Our tour guide, Sath, spoke very good English and was extremely accommodating. We visited a fishing village and had lunch at a local food stall after deciding against the initially suggested restaurant. Sath went above and beyond, even assisting us after the tour by organizing a transfer from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh.
Thank you so much for everything – we had a wonderful day and can highly recommend this professional and unique tour to everyone!

This was a highlight of our time in Siem Reap! A stunning way to escape the city and see the beautiful nature of Cambodia met with the locals of the countryside. If you are staying more than a day in Siem Reap, visiting the Tonle Sap Lake is a MUST after Angkor Wat, and this tour was the perfect way of visiting. Our guide Mr. Sophy was so professional, kind, and enthusiastic to answer all of our questions and explain the many sights, and he also is a great photographer! Our driver Mr. Sopeak was equally as professional and kind. Cannot recommend this tour enough, and be sure to request the amazing Sophy and Sopeak as your guide and driver!

The tour was beautiful... we moved in a comfortable minivan and the driver and our guide Bunchoub were outstanding!
On the way we stopped at a beautiful local market, very large and varied, where you could taste the life of the locals. The visit to the lake and the village on attached stilts was magnificent, we could also make a short trip on a small boat in the mangrove forest and finally landed on land. In the village we were welcomed by children of all ages and a people with a smile always printed on their faces. Before returning home we stopped to eat in a nice local restaurant extremely stocked and clean...
We warmly recommend this tour!!

Sath was our most excellent guide, and Mr. Norte was our outstanding driver. Our experience could not have been any better. We were impressed with Sath’s contributions back to his community and the way he interacted so lovingly with the community around Kamplong Pluck where we toured. He seemed to truly love sharing about the rich culture of Cambodia, and his knowledge of history was enlightening. His personality and enthusiasm made the trip extra special.

I rarely write a review, good or bad. I was more than happy with the experience and the time I spent with Nak. I believe God often has us cross paths to teach us how to be a better person and to learn. My time with Nak and visiting Kampong Phluk was truly humbling and insightful. While we search for personal experiences in visiting Angkor Wat and the other temples, it's important to take a pause in life and consider the others around us. It's been a pleasure and an amazing experience to have spent the day with Nuk while learning about the villages and life. I encourage anyone to carve out a moment of their time to experience the same. Also, please consider giving a small bit to the people. They are very hard working and I believe a small bit can mean much more to others. I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I enjoy it. I went during the shoulder of the rainy season when there are not many tourists and the water level is high. It's the low season for the area and the experience is more intimate.

This is not a tour of Angkor Wat, and you'll be glad for the change. Our fantastic guide, Sorphea, and driver, Phirum, picked us up promptly at the hotel and whisked us to the village of Kampon Phluk, which lies adjacent to Tonle Sap Lake. We walked through a
rural morning market, seeing all sorts of fish, mear, fruit, and vegetables being prepared and sold. Sorphea explained everything. We soon reached our small boat, which took us along a canal to a village where we walked and soaked in the atmosphere of children playing. We continued to a point where you could experience a boat ride among the mangroves ($10 extra). Our woman "captain" was an expert with a single oar. We were visited by a monkey, and the captain collected.snails at the base of mangrove trees for dinner. After that side trip, we went out into the main lake... and the shoreline disappeared! Tonle Sap is more than 100 miles long, and it appears to be an ocean. We returned from that point until being dropped safely at our hotel. Well done to our tour guide team, Sorphea and Phirum.

We are a family of 5 (kids ages 21, 20, and 17) and everyone loved this tour! Sorphea really showed us the village lifestyle around Tonle Sap. He gave us a lot of information about the market, homes, occupations, and culture. When we walked through the market he told us what everything was and how it was used. There were a lot of products we were not familiar with. When walking through the village, we stopped and spoke to school children learning English so they could practice and gave everyone high fives. It was definitely a highlight and exceeded expectations.

An amazing and fascinating experience with a very well informed and friendly guide named Sorphea who spoke English. We stopped and walked through a local market, sampled foods and spoke to vendors. Our guide was happy to keep stopping and explain what was being sold, where the produce, fish, meat or other goods came from . We then continued on to Tonlé Sap Lake where we boarded a local boat and and motored through a traditional village built on stilts. We also had the opportunity to walk through the houses as it was their dry season. The whole tour felt super genuine and not touristy. We hope to be back to experience the village during wet season when the landscape will look totally different. Sorphea did a great job of explaining how the locals lived, their culture, hardships and opportunities and how the area differs from season to season. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would ask for Sorphea the next time we come.
