Tl:dr - great 2-day route that felt like we covered everything and didn’t get boring. Request Mr Chhay if you can!
We joined the 2 day tour, starting with the “small temple” route on a fully packed day 1. The lunch place was pricy for Cambodian standards, but $15 for 2 people was still fine with us. On the way home we stopped off at the Landmine museum which was worth the optional extra $5 (for a good cause) and Mr Chhay bought us Palm Cakes and showed us how they were made.
On day 2, we woke up super early (4am) for the sunrise and tours of the “big temples” (aka the famous ones). It was a well structured Itinerary as day 1 got us introduced to the area and excited for day 2. Ask your hotel for a packed breakfast if they do it to save money, or bring a packed breakfast as the restaurant we stop at do not mind. We had heard from a few people that you don’t actually get a classic sunrise as it’s usually cloudy, which we found as well, but “the reveal” of Angkor Wat over the lake from the darkness was still magical.
Mr Chhay was funny, energetic and balanced facts of the temples with background of Cambodian culture to give us a rounded experience. He told us where the best shops and toilets where while keeping us updated on timings and showing us where the most photogenic spots were. Special mention to our driver on the bus also, who looked after our bags and was constantly giving us water to drink and cool towels to cool down every time we boarded the bus. The aircon was glorious.
Overall price wise, it was all very good value for money. We saw lots of people going around without guides (just with a tuctuc driver who waited for them outside each temple) looking a bit bored and lost and felt happy we had paid for a guide. Initially we thought that the park fees were abit steep but after seeing all the renovation work to the temples, bridges and lakes as well as security and very clean toilets, we felt happy to have paid.

This tours was absolutely spot on. I could not have asked for a more organised and informative tour. I booked one day in advance. WhatsApp exchange quick and booked on tour. Asked for additional service of a sunset following day one and it was arranged for a small fee. Mr Yuth our tour guide was brilliant bringing a personal touch to explaining his life in Cambodia as well as an extensive overview of the temples of Angkor Wat. He was funny and engaging. He kept the tour group moving through the temples without feeling rushed. I thought the tour was a good pace and for the two days I had feel I covered the perfect amount of ground. It’s a full on itinerary for 2 days and the sunrise despite the early start was so worth it. Having been on May tours I can safely recommend this tour to people. Mr Yuth made the trip and I was very satisfied with the tour and had the most amazing time. Keep up the good work Yuth and Team. Sal the driver was the safest driver I’ve driven with since being in Asia. Book this tour you will not be disappointed

We had an amazing 2 days on a small tour of the temples with our guide Sokpee Sumsot, and driver Syha.
We was collected from our hotel at the time told and introduced to the other people on the bus (1st day was just 7 of us and the second day there was 11) the bus was very well maintained and comfortable with air conditioning there was plenty of room to spread out.
First of all we went to the ticket office to purchase our passes (make sure your notes are new or good quality as they could be rejected if they felt wrong or pay by card.) Over the 2 days we saw 7 of the temples and as we drove around between the temples we received some very good information about Cambodian history and culture. Our guide Sopkee spoke excellent English and was amazingly knowledgeable. He was attentive to everyone making sure everyone was accommodated and happy.
Day 1 included a stop at a restaurant for lunch (buy your own) and there was plenty of bathroom stops along the way. In total we was out over 8 hours and the same again on day 2 so excellent value.
Our driver Syha had lots of ice cold bottles of water for us when we got back on the bus and very welcoming refreshing Iovely cold flannels to freshen up with.
Day 2 was to see the sunrise so naturally an early start. Sopkee knew the best places to stand/sit to get the best photo opportunities (we got some fabulous photos). He will also take photos of you with the sunrise. After touring Angkor Wat we was then taken to a restaurant to eat our breakfast boxes (provided by the hotels - just ask the day before, all the hotels are used to this request).
Nothing was too much trouble for our guide Sopkee he even carried a supply of bug spray, hand sanitiser and sun cream should you need it.
We highly recommend this tour and if you get guide Sopkee and driver Syha then you will have a fabulous memorable trip.

This was a amazing and well organised small group tour which covered big circuit in the first day and small circuit on the second day which had a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat with breath taking view in the morning. Our tour has 3 people on the first day and 7 people on the secondary day. They provided us with water and cold towels throughout the day to make us feel comfortable in the hot weather. Yuth (4147) our guide was awesome and explained us the history of each temple and took us around the attractions explaining the story of the carvings and background of each temple. He was informative and well spoken and a great photographer.

Sak was absolutely the best possible guide we could have asked for. He brought the temples to life through his passion and knowledge of the history and context of the areas.
Absolutely a 10/10 experience. We saw the main 3 temples and an additional 3 which tended not to feature on the advertisements of other tour companies.
For the price they charge it's an absolute no brainer - strongly recommend going with this company and ask for Sak if possible - you will walk away with memories for a lifetime.

I booked this tour online, and it was really great. We were a group of 8, but the bus had space for 14. Cold water and wet towels were provided every time we went into the bus, which was great. I found that the 2 days was enough to discover the temples.
The sunrise tour is great because you see the three most impressive temples, and you end the tour when the sun makes staying outside umbearable. On the second day, you don’t wake up as early but the day is a bit hotter. You definitely need a hat on both days from 11 am or so.
Temples were also amazing on day 2: smaller, but we got to see a variety of them.
Our guide, Mr Chhay, was very knowledgeable and helpful, and he speaks really good English despite apologizing about it. He provided history context of the temples (I am amazed how he explained all the elements of the different religions) but also social context of when he was a child and right now, which is really helpful to understand the local people.
He also offered to help us bargain for souvenirs that the locals sell. Id say if you forgot your hat or fan, just buy it in the local markets next to the temples and ask your guide for help. He offered us a visit to the mining museum (extra 5 usd), and i found it really hartbreaking, but also necessary.
The people in the tour found that the restaurant where we had breakfast one day and lunch the other was expensive (10-15 usd for main + soft drink). There are lots of rest rooms and bathrooms.
Also, when you’re there, donate money to the ex-soldiers that play music next to the main temples, Cambodians don’t have government pension.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone that’s interested in learning about the incredible history of Cambodia and Angkor. The tour is super well organised, covering the main temples via a bus with AC and unlimited supply of water. Seeing the sunrise at Angkor is a once in a lifetime experience, which was made even more unique thanks to Mr Sok (our guide) and Keal (our driver). Mr Sok has infinite knowledge of Angkor and Cambodia, he’s super funny, and takes amazing pictures. He’s really passionate about his job and really goes the extra mile to make his customers happy. I’m going to recommend Mr. Sok to everyone that visits Cambodia. Thank you!

Great 2 day tour with our guide Chhay. We visited all the main temples on Day 1 including Angkor Wat for sunrise and then some big and small temples on Day 2. Chhay was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about the temples and general Cambodian facts and lifestyle, telling many funny and interesting stories about Cambodian culture. We also stopped at the Landmine museum on Day 2 and tried local sweet treats. The bus driver had unlimited fresh cold water and wet towels, and was a safe driver. Overall, great tour and I'd recommend!

We really enjoyed our tour! The price was very reasonable and the experience was fantastic. Saruon, our tour guide, was fantastic and pulled out the red carpet whenever he could. He was great to always be teaching us interesting facts about Cambodia culture and history and always had a handy picture or map to provide context to his presentation. He also was Johnny on the spot for picture taking and never was not helpful, often finding the perfect pictures in the perfect settings to take pictures of you and anyone you wanted. The air conditioned bus was fantastic and the driver was always prepared with water and cold towels. The restaurants we were taken to for lunch and breakfast respectively were always tasty and again reasonably priced. We packed a lot of adventure into two days and at times it was hot and we were tired but this is exactly what we wanted to get the most out of our short time and Ankor wat. We also stayed on schedule, and our guides were able to squeeze in, by our request, the Cambodian land mine museum and took us to Ankor Wat both days so we could see the third floor which would be closed for our second day, truly extraordinary!

Watching Angkor Wat at sunrise is a must do - it's simply breathtaking.

Do we have to buy the Angkor wat ticket BEFORE the activity or can we buy it at the the first Day during the early departure (4 am)?

Hello all,
I am planning to spend two days in Siem Rep visiting Angkor Wat.
I am curious, how long does it last the tour both days?
I am making itinerary now for February and i would like to know when does tour finish on second day because of the possible flight that I’m going to have that evening around 9pm...

The tour is good for 8 hours per day (+1 hour for breakfast/lunch). If the tour starts with watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat, it will start at 5am (but it may start at 4am~4:30am to pick-up the group if it is a group tour) and will end approximately 1pm (this inlcude ~1 hour breakfast after watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat).
If it is the day that will not watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat, it will start at 8am (but it may start at 7am ~ 7:30am to pick-up the group if it is a group tour) and may end at 4pm ~5pm depending on the pace of the group and on how long the group will take their lunch. Add around 1 hour travel from the last temple that you are going to visit returning back to your hotel (if you booked in the city center of Siem Reap).
Please be noted that you need to secure the ticket on the 1st day of your tour which will take roughly 30 minutes depending on the queue.
