          well organised
We did the day tour to Preah Khan and Neak Pean. Preah Khan was fantastic - we went there first and there were not too many people, the guide was good and we were under no pressure to hurry - it is a big site and you can spend hours exploring - it really is a jungle temple. Neak Peean was disappointing - the pictures make it look more impressive than it is - the causeway and water views are good. East Mebon was included and that is also impressive. really flexible guide / driver and fitted in with what we wanted

My Wife and I went to all the temples. The sites are breathtaking. We got a took took from our hotel and he took us all over to all temples after we got our entry ticket. Had such a great time and got hundreds of pictures. Would recommend for anyone to go see

          Geat Tour
My husband and I went to Siem Reap for our honeymoon in January 2002. One of our friend recommended "Kampoul Adventure Tour" to us. Mr Proeun Phav( Phav Proeun) is a very skillful leader. He's trustworthy, friendly and kind. He arranged the whole visit for us and provided a very good tour guide. We loved his service and enjoyed our visit there. We've kept in touch with him and go back to visit Siem Reap almost every year.

          Great tour and guide
My Daughter and I took the half day tour to preah khan and Neak Pean temples. Our guide Khuoch Buntha aka David, was a very informative and entertaining person, he kept us informed but was able to make us laugh and had a good voice as he sang to us on our way back. We would recommend him and this company to anyone.

Definitely a "Hands On" Excellent Siem Reap Ground Arrangments Tour Firm
My wife and I engaged Kampoul Adventure Tours via our TA in Manila for a four day visit to Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Everything went smoothly and according to our schedule. The Managing Director personally met us at the airport. We engaged a car/driver/and English speaking guide for the duration of our visit. In summary very personal and attentive service that made our visit worry free. Upon conclusion of our visit the Managing Director again met us and took us to the airport. I will add that their cars are clean and modern. Also the Guide assigned to us arranged for us to drive into the Angkor Wat Complex area based on our "Senior Citizen" status.

          Perfect Travel Agency
We (Family w. 2 kids, 16&9) booked a half day tour to Banteya Srei and Ta Prohm through viator and one half day tour to Angkor Wat directly with the agency. both times everything was perfect. with one tour we had a lunch included and our guide took us to a really fine restaurant (Neary Khmer) where the food was delicious. If you book a tour with them, you could ask for Mr. Sovann, who was our guide for the two trips. He knows a lot about Angkor and all the temples and can also tell you plenty about Cambodias history and culture.

Simply the best experience we could ever have imagined!
This was our first trip to Cambodia and we only had five days to spend in Siem Reap. Proeun was wonderful from start to finish. He and Vanna, our guide, met us at the Siem Reap airport and we knew right away we were in excellent hands. Our days began early and we felt like VIPs everywhere we went. Vanna is so knowledgeable and forthcoming with interesting and intriguing insights into the rich history of Cambodia. He would expertly navigate us through each temple, taking us on a beeline to a little niche where we could see a particularly well preserved relief or just have a quiet spot with a great vantage point away from the congested knots of tourists that occur at each temple. We were able to visit at least six temples each day with a stop at a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We were dropped off at our hotel in the late afternoon or evening to regroup and then were picked up again and taken to a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The food was amazing. We learned so much and came away feeling a very strong affinity for Cambodia and the wonderful people that live there. Be sure to bring your camera, wear walking shoes, and have sun protection! It would also be great to have a small notebook to write notes because you see so much and learn so much that it is lovely to have the notes to refer to at the end of each day.

Mr. Proeun instinctively knew what to organise for us
Quad bikes, circus, buffalo cart, balloon and some temples - perfectly balanced for the whole family. Best organiser ever.

Good tour of Angkor Wat and surrounding temples
We hired Vanna directly through our hotel, Saem Siem Reap. He led us through the small circuit tour of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and surrounding temples, which took most of the day! Vanna knew a lot about the history of these amazing buildings and spent time walking us through a lot of the background of both the structures and Cambodia's recent history. The only critique we have is that he asked us to stop by his friend's shop at the end of the tour, which wasn't something we necessarily wanted to do, but it did have some very nice merchandise. Overall, I would recommend him to others seeking a knowledgeable guide for Angkor Wat.

          Great arrangement of tour package
We spent a great three days in Siem Reap with Kampoul Adventure to arrange the tour package for us. This is included with lunch, dinner, accommodation, entrench fee, and everything . We were five adults and one child, ages 9. They arranged their tour guide, Mr. Vanna. He was always full of information, punctual, flexible, and good-natured about things. He also was really great with our kids especially when it was super hot and they were not always thrilled about visiting multiple temples. We had a few general things in mind about what we wanted to do and he was able to help us craft a full itinerary for three days that was a mix of temples and other activities to keep the kids interested. We highly recommend Kampoul Adventure Tour to anyone traveling to Siem Reap.

          Amazing Tour with Reliable company
We booked the sunrise trip for 15 persons. Under the leadership of MD, he and his team did a great job to deliver a unique experience. He is knowledgeable but keeps the tour at the right pace. With teenagers you have to balance story telling and action, which he did. Sunrise at the at Angkor Wat was worth the early start: picked up at the hotel at 4:40 am!!!!! Breakfast was served on a veranda in the forest, but it had restaurant quality. And outdoors it always taste better Transportation were great. Lunch was in a restaurant at the end of the trip and was very tasty. Also smart not to plan any thing afterwards because of a bit more intensive after lunch dip as fall out of an early rise. Highly recommend this travel agent to those who need a professional arrangement.

Top Class Company, with 1st Class Staff and Service
I have been taking groups to the Far East since 1994, and this company definitely has ticked all the boxes for service, reliability, honesty and value for money. We were a group of 21 and they were happy to facilitate a program that covered 3 cities in Cambodia over 8 days for us. Communication at all times was honest! For example most tour companies offer a river transfer from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh all year round, this is not possible outside the rainy season as the river is not deep enough! They advised us up-front this was not going to be an option due to our June trip being at the start of the rainy season so the river was unlikely to be high enough - proved to be correct! They employ their own full-time guides in Siem Reap who are really good. Importantly beside being very knowledgeable are able to read the group and make fine adjustments to the itinerary as required to keep all happy. Our group was also accompanied at times by their operations manager - Chansip Buth, who also went the extra mile to ensure good service and a happy group - requesting feedback of any problems or concerns for immediate intervention. One of our party celebrated a birthday on the trip and a special cake & surprise birthday party was arranged by the company - what made this more impressive is they they picked up the birthday without being told and at their own initiative made all arrangements. I was fortunate to meet Mr Phav Prouen the Managing Director of the company who is truly dedicated to tourism and is a very credible man. His attitude and service ethos amazed our group in small actions like when leaving our hotel after dropping someone off - offering 2 couples from our group a lift to the city center in his private vehicle and after dropping them off + offering to wait for them (which was declined for obvious reasons) - but there are not many MD's who lead their companies from the front with actions. Overall I will not hesitate in using this company again and recommending it too any people looking for a credible and reliable tour company in Cambodia.

          Unscrupulous operator and scary experience!
We scheduled this tour company through emails to take us around Angkor Wat and temples for a couple of days (never gave a deposit-said we could pay when we did the tour). We got into town a day early and decided to go to the temples on our own that afternoon. My travel partner wasnt feeling well and so we asked to cancel part of the tour schedule. To our suprise, the tour guide showed up at our hotel after we had already canceled the tour that morning for that evening-AND he proceeded to harrass the front desk person into letting him speak to us! She had to come to our room twice because he was so insistent and wouldn't leave! Finally after it started to rain hard, he left. In addtion, the tour operator Mr. Chansip Buth sent me an email insisting we pay him for HALF of the two days touring which was US $180 saying that because a tour guide and car as well as a restaurant dinner were arranged and cancelled late he would have to pay for them (which wasnt true as I spoke to another travel agent in town)! To make matters worse, he kept calling the hotel and telling the front desk he was calling the police on us AND the police (if they were who they say) called the hotel asking if we were going to pay him! Obviously, the man was trying to bully us into paying him and using the police as a scare tactic! We didn't want any trouble with the police or customs when leaving so we reluctantly agreed to do an afternoon at the temple with a tour guide and car for $80 USD approx. The guide (who probably was clueless about the whole debaucle) was very professional and knowledgeable I would have to say. However, this whole negative experience with the tour operator was unnecessary and extremely scary- buyer beware!!

Excellent tour company: Mr.Loun Vanna is the best!
We lucked out! We didn't book them after reading TA reviews. We stayed in Saem Siam Reap hotel and they booked the tours for us. We requested for some one who can speak English well and knowledgeable. Mr Loun Vanna was punctual to a fault! Including "hustling us" for the sunrise visit to Angkor Wat. I am glad he did that as we were lucky to the gorgeous sun rise. An unforgettable sight. Etched in one's memory for ever. Young Mr.Kun was our driver and he was so careful and drive Hyundai van competently. Mr.Vanna's knowledge was superb. Six of us are of Indian origin having lived in North America for 30+ years yearn for history in an authentic manner. Mr.Vanna was superb in that domain. He told us a story about "kaaraikkaal ammaiyaar", a story that many Indians wouldn't be aware. I was "floored". I did "wki" the story and lo and behold there it was connecting this strange folklore to Cambodia. Remarkable! Time constraint meant we couldn't enjoy his company more. I had to "fight" and get him for the second day!. Our long planned trip to Angkor Wat was enriched by this tour company. We went to the "mountain" as well. Waterfalls. and Bayon.....so much more to see..... The fact that these people can smile so radiantly after such horror filled history in the hands of their own people, is so inspiring. Humbles us all. Hope the folks get to see beauty of life in their own life time. Beautiful beautiful people. Thank you Mr.Vanna. Tip: If you go through the tour company, perhaps you can save some money? We went through the hotel. It wasn't bad. Saem Siam Reap hotel is also a good place to stay. Highly recommended.
