This was a fantastic tour for visitors to Siem Reap. Street food is a crucial part of the culture of Cambodia and this tour does not disappoint. However, this review is unique and focuses on the goodness of our guide, Mr. Thou, and the goodness of the Cambodian people. Unfortunately, and entirely to our fault, my wife lost her iPhone X near the end of the tour. Apparently it slipped from her pocket as our tuk-tuk rounded a corner. Both Mr. Thou and the driver spared no effort in attempting to retrace our route, but to no avail. We had the phone in airplane mode to save in service fees, thus we could not call the phone or use the Find My Phone app. The tour ended about 9:00 pm with no success in finding the phone and we had accepted our loss. Everyone was happy and we gave Mr. Thou a good tip. About 30 minutes later we received a call from our guide Mr. Thou. Apparently he had continued calling my wife’s phone well after the tour ended. Eventually somebody answered. The finder of the phone had taken it out of airplane mode and the phone became reachable. Mr. Thou came back to our hotel in his personal car and, not knowing the conditions for the phone’s return, we ventured out to meet the finder at a meeting place well across town. We met up with the finder, he happily returned the phone, and would accept no offered reward. Such a decent gentleman. However, we credit our guide, Mr. Thou for recovering our lost phone and we are forever in his debt. Take this tour. Eat the crickets. Hang on to your phone, and ask for Mr. Thou.

Fantastic evening food tour on 4th November 2019. The meeting point was easy to find. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English. The foods we tried were adventurous and delicious. Apart from crickets which were just crunchy! The Tuk Tuk drivers were very good and we had an endless supply of food and opportunities to get a drink. The first drink is included in the price. The meal at the restaurant at the end was superb! The tour was reasonably priced and we booked it online before we left for Cambodia. Would definitely recommend this tour!

I’ve got to say that I was apprehensive but there was no need to be. Kim was great company and guided us through an evening that we wouldn’t have attempted by ourselves. After trying local street food at the evening market we went to a great restaurant with different dishes recommended by Kim. Great tour.

Just finished the Siem Reap Street food tour. I have to say, I was VERY impressed.
I did not expect much, however, our Guide Thou was VERY knowledgeable and taught us more about Cambodian culture in 2 hours than I had learned in my entire trip so far.
Not only did he take us to inique places only known to locals- but he explained all ingredients, preparation, and even taught us Khmer phrases to be able to speak to the locals briefly.
Tonight was an awesome adventure- I very much recommend to anyone looking to dive into Cambodian culture.
Request Thou as your guide- he is a dream!

We like to have fun and explore cultures while we travel. What better way then to immerse yourself with their local food? Kim was able to guide us through the maze of street food with ease and humor. We instantly feel in love with him and his infectious laugh. He pushed our boundaries with some wild food and explained that Cambodians eat pretty much anything that moves. We would highly recommend this tour and especially Kim!

Vantha met my daughter and I and another tourist near to pub street to start the tour. He was a lovely guide who provided advice on the local cuisine and information on how the dishes were made and ingredients used. Some of the foods were a little unusual but most I found delicious. Really lovely tour guide who made it a comfortable experience and we learnt a lot. Thanks for the info and introduction to local street food!

Had an amazing experience with the Siem Reap Street Food Evening Tour. Kim, who led the tour was a blast and so very enjoyable. He grew up in Siem Reap and knew all the best street food areas that locals love to frequent. We all feasted on the best of Khmer street food, from boiled duck eggs to fried crickets and grasshoppers to rich spicy chicken Khmer curry and everything in between. Truly a highlight of my two week Cambodia journey. Can’t recommend it enough!

True authentic Cambodian experience. Eating local meals and exotic meals. Pig brain, crickets and frog..etc. came in hungry and finished satisfied. Thou (food guide) and even Socaea (Tuk tuk) we’re both knowledgeable, warm and welcoming.

Our guide "Two" was very friendly, informative and enthusiastic. Meeting point was clear and we were met on time. Tuktuk walk between locations with some walking in local markets etc.
A mixture of food ranging from the expected (noodles with egg, delicious) to the very adventurous! No food was compulsory to eat but worth a try. But dont worry, no one went home hungry as the tour ended in a good restaurant, main meal included in the tour (with clean western toilets).
Our group was only 6 people so nice small number.
At then end option to be dropped back at your hotel or on pub street.
