Day 1: Santa Cruz City - Amboro National Park

Stop At: Amboro National Park, Buena Vista Santa Cruz Bolivia, 00000 Bolivia
We pick you up at your place in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

This tour commences at 8H00 by land  on a car. The first part of this trips takes  about 2 Hours (100 Km) to a town near Amboro National park. At this village we meet the local guide to continue the trip  on a 4WD  vehicle towards  a north side entrance  of the park. After about 40 minutes we  cross the main  river, (Surutu). Which is the natural border of the communities of Amboro N. park. In rain season we may need to continue from the river on horses. We keep on going crossing the communities, rivers  and streams without a bridge for about 12 km to reach the central part of the park. After this line is prohibited human settlements inside the  park, And it  is where the rustic cabins and trails in the virgin Amazon jungle are. Also from this point is where we start the day/night trekking. During the trekking the guide will explain you about the plants and animals in this part of the tropical rain forest. It is possible to see some wildlife, but is not guaranteed it.   The trails are very natural, you need to be in good physical condition. In this destination some the trails go on the hills. This destination of Amboro National park is at about 350 meters on see level. The trek at  trails and the streams crossing  have to done with care because some parts are slippery. The view points at to top of the hills are a beautiful way to admire the richness of this oxygen generator habitat

Amboro National park has more species of birds than Costa Rica and all the mammals of the Amazonian

Usually if possible to swimming in the a river near by. The guide is private, so it is possible to coordinate with him / her the the activities. The trekking during the first day may last about 3 hours

Overnight in a rustic cabin in the jungle.
Duration: 15 hours

Meals included:

Day 2: Amboro National Park - Santa Cruz city

Stop At: Amboro National Park, Buena Vista Santa Cruz Bolivia, 00000 Bolivia
The idea is to start the day early and enjoy the sounds of the jungle and the fresh air or the Amazonian.

In the early hours of the morning is when there is more activity of birds and animals.

A long hike very early before breakfast is the best way to get more from your money. Please coordinate with the guide this part the night before during dinner.

Where there are no hiking trails sometimes we use the streams. The type of hikes are usually within the red line. And almost always vary depending on the entry point we have chosen to enter the park

Because this is a standard itinerary we do not specify with precision the trails.

As mentioned before. In two-day trips is not guaranteed the observation of any animal, because

they usually have no interest in been seen by humans.

Two days is not a long time in this place for a visitor that appreciate it or do not have trouble getting so close in contact with nature, which may also involve, ticks, mosquitoes and other insects.

This depends on the time of the year.

The encounter with the vehicle to take us back is usually the scheduled for 14H or15:00 hours.

We trek to meet the vehicle to return on same way we came and then continue to the city of Santa Cruz.

End of our services. Thanks.
