About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- LifestyleProBlog0 contributionsThe building is the best part about this MuseumSuch a novel concept. Such amazing use of technology and storytelling to create the future world. Such a dissapointing experience. For me, it all comes down to how well we were able to interact with the exhibits. It left us underwhelmed. The reason I believe is the way the tour was conducted. It starts off with a blast (pun intended), as we literally get into space simulation - a nice guided tour. As soon as it gets to self exploration, the ball drops. There weren’t enough instructions to communicate with the exhibits. Sometimes, you can’t even fully grasp what you are seeing. We went with kids, and felt that this is more suited to older kids than younger ones. While the concepts of sustainability, evolution and wellness can very well be explained to young kids, the language, the tech and the vibe was not suited to them. Only future explorers on level 1 was aimed at them.Written October 1, 2024
- Nyctraveler53420 contributionsWaste of time money and energy. Don’t go!If I could give this zero stars I would. This reminds me of an Epcot exhibit of the future from the 1990’s. The whole experience was subpar and made no sense. I wasted 150 Durham on this. Save your money and take a safari dune ride with royal tours and visit the aquarium. Feb museum has absolutely no prose other than to be a money grab for tourists.Written September 20, 2024
- deanosaur890 contributionsEnjoyed the Outside and the LobbyWe found out that the price to enter the museum was 149 AED and felt after reading reviews online and hearing from a friend that had visited that we would just check out the lobby and the outside which we found enjoyment in. The building has a very interesting design and we took a few pictures outside and inside the lobby/gift shop area. You can take good photos from Sheikh Zayed road and there is a small plaza to the southeast of the museum that you can get other photos at. Emirates Towers Metro Station is closest and the museum is not too far from the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa and Dubai Frame.Written September 1, 2024
- Mahdikhademi0 contributionsA Mind-Blowing Journey into the FutureThe Museum of the Future in Dubai is nothing short of spectacular. The design of the building alone is awe-inspiring, but the experience inside is what truly sets it apart. Every exhibit is a glimpse into the possibilities of tomorrow, blending cutting-edge technology with imaginative concepts. It’s an immersive and thought-provoking journey that leaves you feeling inspired and excited about the future. An absolute must-visit for anyone interested in innovation and the world of tomorrow.Written August 30, 2024
- 68randyw0 contributionsWorthwhile for the interactive displays and amazing architecture!Architecturally stunning building and interesting displays about the world in 2071. It is a museum, so don't expect a Disneyworld-like ride, but it is also quite cool, interactive, and high tech. Suitable for all ages and small kids can be dropped off in a play area.Written August 30, 2024
- 582aemio0 contributionsBeautiful BuildingI have to admit the building is very beautiful and magnificent without any doubt. The lobby is as bright as shown into the picture. The Idea to have a museum like this is brilliant but the way it has been cultivated is scary. If this is our future, then we are scared. I only liked the building architect and there is a part called DNA library. I loved it but apart from these two aspects , I seriously didn't enjoy. Maybe I am not the person who love technology and stuff. I will give it an average ratingWritten August 22, 2024
- Daugtanion0 contributionsShiny but boringPopped in here as part of a Dubai tour, was pretty underwhelming tbh. It looks impressive from the outside, a shiny futuristic shape, but there wasn’t too much to look at inside. You can purchase tickets to go up to another floor but we didn’t bother, so I might be doing it a disservice, but the bits we could access were just a bit boring. There’s a coffee shop there and some toilets.Written August 18, 2024
- mrdhiyabi960 contributionsSave your money and ticketsSave up your money and skip this overrated museum. The so called most beautiful building on earth offered me the most disappointing experience. It offers nothing but gazing at some anticipated technological advancement and innovations that may happen in the future. As opposed to the mesmerizing Dubai Frame, this place had no charm. It felt like a complete waste of money and time.Written August 3, 2024
- kenyaj7930 contributionsNo so futuristic!I was under the impression I’d have an immersive experience and learn more about how we’d evolve. Instead we were rushed from one room to the next without ample time to learn and digest. The tour includes a relaxation room and tech room. I don’t know what’s futuristic and relaxing, and with the exception of the concept car all the tech is being used today. Wish i could have requested a refund after the first 20 min. I’d pass on this.Written July 23, 2024
- Sabaka660 contributionsThe Future is Now?Museum of the Future is a much hyped vision of the future curated in Dubai. The building is spectacular. Inside it is basically five floors with a different theme on each. The top and the entrance to the experience is all about space. You proceed down through the future of repopulating flora and fauna on earth, future health and psychology (future de-stressing) and an open layout exhibition of future technologies applied to devices - future cars, robotics, clothes, mood sensor, exoskeletons to assist human movement) and a visit to the terrace for a view of the building lit up at night. If you do not have child allergies there is a kids floor as well. Space was interesting, repopulating the earth with nature was very colorful and had interesting exhibits of what could be. and health was interesting visions of what couple be. Psychology was crowded and stressful. The robot on the exhibit floor needs updates - there is so much more robots can do even from the time this installation was out in the museum. Visiting the terrace was stressful - too many people. The museum really wants you to have a picture taken so you are forced to wait in line to see the terrace. We didn't want or need pictures. All in all the museum was just OK. Sort of a high price for this but this is Dubai. And lots of loud and excited kids.Written July 20, 2024
- Tasaber0 contributionsloved itI have loved it. It’s important to approach this place not as a typical museum, but as a unique experience. It’s designed to spark thought, creativity, imagination, and conversation. Try to view it through the eyes of your inner child and marvel at the technology and the narrative presented. Could there have been more exhibits on the top floor? Definitely, but remember that this is about envisioning the world and Dubai in 2071. It’s about what the future might look like and the technologies that will exist - we can’t display what hasn’t been invented yet! Overall, it was a wonderfully creative day out.Written July 16, 2024

- Culture222892534280 contributionsA Journey Beyond ImaginationThe Museum of the Future is nothing short of breathtaking. The spaceship experience left me awestruck, making me feel like I had stepped into another world. But the true highlight for me was the Heal Center—it felt like a slice of heaven. I could feel all my negative energy melt away in this serene oasis. This museum isn’t just about the future; it’s about transforming your present. An absolute must-visit!Written July 14, 2024
- jonotennis0 contributionsFuturistically fabulous attractionMyself and a friend visited on a weekday in July. We used Dubai Metro to Emirates Towers Metro Station, then followed the link bridge and tunnel into the museum. We reported to the ticket desk to receive our wristbands- we were late, but still allowed to enter. Rucksacks not allowed. We then joined the long queue for our (new) timed entry slot (50 people at a time) into the ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Spaceport’ holding area, then a lift upwards (if you find this lift too claustrophobic, you can ask a guide to bypass it and use a glass lift instead). Pros: -Helpful English speaking staff. -Free WiFi. -Air conditioning. -Free luggage service to store bags. -Free water dispenser between Robotic Coffee Bar and SALT cafe. . -Toilets -Information provided in Arabic and English. -Small shop -Robotic Coffee Bar hot & cold drinks robot. -Robot perfumery machine. -Exhibits are split into 5 chapters/floors from 2070 to present day: OSS Hope, The HEAL Institute, Al Waha, Tomorrow Today, Future Heroes (ages 10 and below). -Outdoor viewing deck. 41C during my visit! -Indoor car park. Cons: -Entrance fee, shop, cafe etc expensive, buys its Dubai so be expected. We avoided the ripoff cafe prices and went across the highway to the 24 Hour McDonalds. -A busy attraction, even during my weekday low season visit. -More interactive exhibits - particularly in the Tomorrow Today chapter - would be useful.Written July 10, 2024
- Guide030454859690 contributionsGreat interactive entertainment for children and very interestingI absolutely loved this place!✨ I visited the museum with my family on a day trip to dubai and it was so much more than I thought they’d be, to be honest I wasn’t too sure what I was expecting😂. There was a lot of interactive entertainment for the children, my little cousin really enjoyed all of this… my boyfriend and I also loved all of these interesting future experiences!🫶🏼 It’s made me want to live forever to experience these things!! The only complaint I would have is that the queue to get tickets was very unorganised with people coming from every direction and a lot of pushing in🤦🏽♀️Written July 9, 2024

I have visited the museum of the future on 21/06/2022 at 12pm with my family (5 tickets). we were very disappointed, and we felt that we wasted our time and money and have been delt with disrespect from the security and management staff.
The actual building and architecture are amazing, however from inside it is a very disappointing and does not worth the money or the time.
The museum is 7 floors and there are 3 lefts and stairs, we noticed that there are employees inside the lefts, and they don't stop for us if you want to use it, and we have to wait long time otherwise we can only go up or down using the stairs. we also noticed that they selectively use it quickly for some people, and when they stop for visitors like us after long wait, it become too packed which is not hygienic and inconvenient.
I asked the security at level 4 if we are not allowed to use the left and why they selectively let some others use it quickly. She answered saying "maybe there are some VIP officials attending today".
I replied, "this is unfair and disrespect for us, we paid full price ticket and accordingly we should be treated the same", and how come a museum that talks about the future of space and technology, is forcing his visitors to carry their kids and use stairs.
I recorded a video as evidence of the incident and went down to the management desk, they were very unhelpful and inattentive. I have shown them the video and they admitted that it was unprofessional and disrespectful situation, again they excused by saying that there is an event, and some VIPs are attending today.
If the museum management care that much for the VIPs, they shouldn't sell us tickets and take our money then deal with us as if we are lower grade people.
This is my first visit to Dubai, to be honest every other place I went to was high quality service and excellent except this museum.

I love this museum. It is new and clean, and the exhibits are well organized. It is best to purchase the ticket online at the museum’s web site since buying tickets in person often sell out fast.
The experience starts out as a guided tour, but you are soon able to explore it at your own pace. The observation deck is small, but it provides awesome views of the museum. This place is really neat and well-worth the visit!

The museum building is amazing! The area around is just beautiful.
Unfortunately, tickets can be bought at least 2 weeks in advance, if you are lucky. You can only get into the museum next month. Entrance to the Museum is not organized. A person bought a ticket for a certain time and must queue to enter. Many people come, a crowd arises. An obligatory part of visiting the museum is a guided tour in English. What should tourists who do not know the language or come to the Museum with children do? Unfortunately, there are not many cultural sites in Dubai. The museum spoiled the impression.

Do yourself a favor and skip this you won’t be missing anything … there are much better things to do in dubai
The architecture of the building is great no doubt but it lacks content …. I was expecting it would be interactive with robots and all :) but it had nothing that was interesting …
One full floor for some meditation theme one floor for 3 D laser printed glass mementos of all species , one floor of some interactive large screens one floor of futuristic clothes etc.
One floor was children play area where they can spend sometime that was the only thing kids liked
But trust me once I finished I was like why did I waste my time and money and it’s expensive
It’s all hype and tickets are booked in advance for next month ….

Much better outside than in!
A complete and utter waste of money in terms of the museum exhibits which were sparse in number, poorly maintained and badly / not explained adequately. The interactive elements were few in number, overcrowded and woefully poor. Spent some time at the end of the visit giving feedback to a manager who admitted there have been a number of dissatisfied guests since it opened and that the museum welcomes their feedback. I’d welcome a refund!
My recommendation would be visit the exterior but keep your credit card firmly in your pocket to avoid disappointment.

It's complete gimmicky, no substance. Just keep watching screens. I had high hopes and all of is in my group of 6 adults and 1 kid absolutely found it complete waste of time. It should have been more interactive, engaging, some real with touch and little realistics. Just showing screen and some random stuff failed to impress anyone. Also the tickets for this is being sold at Grey market by travel agents at premium. I paid aed 220 for aed 145 ticket from travel agent who said all agents are hoarding the tickets and I can only get it at premuim price. After paying premium, such disappointment.
Pl don't visit this museum. U can take pic from outside. Plz don't waste ur time inside. Rather do some free activities elsewhere

The entry ticket is to be booked in advanced as a rule as it is always sold out for the same day.
Per head ticket costs around 150 AED and let me tell you, the experience is not worth it. It is less of a museum and more of like a video game 3D set showing how artificial the future will be. There is even a section where they will make you smell their national flower through the machine rather the actual flower itself and call it meditation.
It starts of well showing how space programmes will advance in the future, but falls flat on the ground after that section.
Will recommend to pictures clicked outside the museum as it is free and the architecture is very good, but won’t recommend buying tickets to see the video show rather than a museum.

The only good thing about this museum is the appearance and probably the balcony, rest inside the museum was absolutely horrible for the price we paid. Costed around 50 OMR and the experience we got was just crap. Literally 90% of the things inside the museum was just projections and rest just a few good things but little to no interactive sessions, maybe little kids may enjoy it but honestly please don’t go inside the museum just take your pictures at the entrance and get out of there. This is just another dupe show by dubai so that they’ll just take more money from tourists and even locals.

I had high expectations for this futuristic landmark, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to its hype.
First and foremost, the museum felt incredibly empty. The lack of exhibits and displays made the visit quite underwhelming. For an attraction that's meant to showcase the marvels of the future, the sparse interiors were a letdown.
Many reviews had raved about the museum's grandeur and innovation, but I found it to be overrated. The promise of cutting-edge technology and immersive experiences was not fully delivered, leaving me yearning for more.
While the outdoor architecture was undoubtedly impressive, the same couldn't be said about the indoor exhibits. The contrast between the magnificent exterior and the lackluster interior was quite disappointing.
To make matters worse, the ticket prices were relatively high compared to other iconic attractions like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan. The fact that I paid almost three times the price for a less interesting experience was disheartening.
In comparison to other renowned museums and landmarks in Abu Dhabi, The Museum of the Future fell short in terms of substance and engagement. I left feeling like there was much more potential that went untapped.
In conclusion, my visit to The Museum of the Future was far from the futuristic journey I had anticipated. While it boasts an impressive exterior, the lack of meaningful content inside left me unimpressed. For a more fulfilling cultural experience, I'd recommend exploring other remarkable attractions in the city.

Truly awe-inspiring. The architecture on the inside and outside was breathtaking. The 3 D printed models and videos helped bring the vision of the future to life. The tour guides are actually experts in their fields. I spoke to Patrick (tour guide/botany researcher) from plant incubators, I didn’t realize that all of this is actually currently researched, and this museum is a prototype with backed-up research. It totally changed my experience; I would recommend you chat with the tour guides about the science and research behind everything. They’re very helpful and insightful. All in all, an excellent experience.
