124th floor on Burj Khalifa, a bit expensive
The view from Burj Khalifa is no doubt breathtaking but having said that the overall experience of waiting for about 40 minutes to enter and 40 minutes to exit, we just got 10-15 minutes of pure viewing but that was interrupted several times because of the crowd. Aquarium is also within the Dubai mall and is well curated experience for kids, however there is a Dolphin Aquarium which is much better than this one. For first timers, would recommend atleast going to the top once but during sunset time else the experience is ruptured

Burj Khalifa and Dubai mall aquarium
There were many different tickets of Burj Khalifa with many different variations. I was overwhelmed and wanted to give this one a shot. This was very basic- although it was mostly aimed for ‘peak time’, all I got is huge crowd 🙄. It was already dark, so there was no chance of seeing further, or any magical sunset hue. After waiting a lot, I got to take the elevator. From 125th floor ( I suppose), saw all Dubai lights. It felt like aircraft landing experience ( except the moving sensation). It was all glass walls - no terrace experience. And then again long line for taking the elevator for coming down! I felt this one as overrated and a bit hoax. Next, the Dubai mall aquarium - if you have already experienced larger aquariums in the US ( for eg, in Atalanta, or, Dallas) you can easily give this up without any FOMO - you are not kissing out anything. This is the tiniest aquarium I have ever visited. This is also quite overrated - instead, I could have invested the time in exploring the mall. Dubai Mall is much better.

    Worth going
Burj Khalifa is amazing! Incredible views. We booked a 19:00 trip,so we were able to watch fountain show from 125 level. And before going up we watched it from the ground as well. The only sad experience -not enough signs in Dubai mall how to find the entrance to Burj Khalifa. But we were happy to buy very nice souvenirs on 125 level.Really nice prices

Burj is overrated, but aquarium a big hit
The zoo and aquarium are really worth visiting, the tower less so. If you get a misty day, you can't see anything. You also have to fight past everyone trying to get 'influencer' shots.

From start to finish the whole experience was horrendous. You queue continuously throughout the building in small corridors and the staff just grunt and you and point wear to go. And then you are shoved into a small lift wear they cram in as many people as possible and as a result of this my two year old was trampled on and it was dark as well so she was petrified and because they was so many people in this lift I couldn't even bend down to pick her up as we was should to shoulder with people. The Burj Khalife is very impressive to look out from the outside but one of the worst experiences I've endured.

Absolute chaos, queuing for elevators for over 1 hour, then packed in like sardines. As for the views, better ones from alternative buildings without the hassle.
We had a meal booked also, no one could offer us directions, merely told to wait in the queue for the elevator.
No signage, clueless staff what a waste of an evening and money.
Would not recommend this ‘attraction ’ they really need to get themselves sorted out and display better customer service, disappointed!

It’s at least £100 for 2, (working out the exchange rate at about 5 to 1 is tricky). Unless you buy fast pass which could be a better experience. You spend about 2 hours in a non air conditioned tunnel just queuing for the lift being pushed by riotous kids.
The view from the top is amazing but then you have to try and get back down again🤷‍♂️, another massive queue on the 125th floor because 124 was out of order.Definitely 3 hours plus of my life I could have done without wasting.

It is the tallest building in the world, so to say I have been to the 125th floor is great for…..me…..and my Mum was impressed that I went up because she knows I get scared climbing a chair. The view is also outstanding. I thought about the queue. Yes, it’s long. It winds around bends and you think surely this is it, but queues are everywhere. It’s also not the queue that is frustrating, it’s the people who surround you that make it a drag. Some of the pushiest, rudest, angry people who either bang into your leg or arm because you have walked a second too slow or are breathing down your neck because they think they are a little closer to the front. Everyone has to take a chill pill and calm down. If you think you are mean in lines, or believe your own self importance, or you have zero tolerance for people, don’t go to the Burj Khalifa.

So don't believe what the info tells you it is highly misleading.
1. The slot you book is actually a 3 hour window. We arrived for a 4pm slot and was told its 4-7
2. You need to queue to get into the venue to just have your ticket validated then another queue for 45 mins
3. It does not take 1 hour as stated on the tickets it is more like 2.5 hours with the queues
Plan around this time not the 1 hour if you have other things planned

It's a little underwhelming in reality. Yes you can see some parts of Dubai but the constant dust and haze prevents decent views.

Far too many people are allowed in and the lift is seriously squashed.

It's a lot of money and honestly it's not worth it if you are working on a budget. Gift shop a total rip off

This is a must do when in Dubai. The story of the build is detailed as you make your way to and from the top of the tower.
The view is incredible...unfortunately the day we went was extremely hot and humid so you could not see as far as your normally can.
It is not cheap but worth it.
When you finish you can then wander through the shopping centre and see the aquarium and the ice rink.
My advice is take a time that will allow you the opportunity to come down and watch the performance of the fountains which are similar to the Bellagio in Vegas.

the place itself is a very iconic one. The organisation is not good. People just get inside and lay down by the windows so one will struggle to get to the window and get a view or a picture. As for the views they are really beautiful. Because of a heat and sand they are not as far reaching as would think. Maybe in winter. Overall it is an ok attraction but way to expensive.

It was worth the 30 minute queue the lift was so fast it made my ears pop! The views are breaktaking and it was a clear sunny day for me. Photos don’t do it justice need to see it with your own eyes!
It’s the matchbox cars below that give it perspective.

Definitely something to see and admire when in Dubai, but to be honest we found the Burj Kalifa to be more impressive from the outside than from the inside and it’s viewing platforms.

Outside during the day and the evening you really get the perspective of this impressive building and it’s scale and height. From the inside it’s another view from a very tall building, just higher up. Nothing really too different from other skyscrapers you might have enjoyed views from.

This experience is excellent for people who love to queue. The queue begins in a long snake around the ground floor of the shopping mall. This takes around 2 hours. Then when you think you’ve made progress you join a new queue and keep queuing and queuing. The time slots on the tickets are basically irrelevant. I spoke to people who had slots hours apart and who were all stuck in the queue. Occasionally groups sail past you wearing VIP stickers that enables them to skip the line. This makes the normal queue even longer. After a long dark lift journey the views from the top are great and then you join a long queue to get back down.
