- Liam P0 contributionsBest first time jet ski experience 👌🏻I was greeted by a wonderful team here at popeye Jet ski, was then taken down to deck to George who took me through the processes, safety guidelines etc. We then headed off out the marina, George put his thumb up when it was safe to proceed at full speed, and oh my god the supercharge jet ski can go fast ! George was absolutely incredible, kept an eye on me as a first timer. Went towards the Burj Al Arab and took some amazing shots, got me to wiz round him so he could get more shots and videos, then off we went to Atlantis, and same again was very polite in taking pictures and videos. Took me to a flat area of water and said go for it thereafter! And trust me I went for it ! Highly recommend the supercharge if it’s your first time. Had the most amazing experience ! ,it was quite nice good jet ski and atmosphere, yet when booked i was asked for how many adults , so i answered 2 thinking that it meant 2 on one jetski and of course payed double.
Only when i got there i understood that you pay per jetski and not per how many on it.
When i asked refund they said that i can come another tone and take another tour but no refund....
Eventually we did one hour instead of half an hour...

Thanks for your review and glad you enjoyed the trip on our jetski.
Regarding the booking you made it’s clear that price is per jetski and not per person, and I’m glad our team did found a solution to make you go longer, which it seems looked the perfect option as they remember you had a blast. Refund policy are with viator and we can not refund you on the spot cash as mentioned, that why it was a bit confusing, sorry again for that.

I really enjoyed myself for this activity. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was so patient and my instructor Muhammed was so patient with me. I can’t swim and he was like it’s no problem, don’t worry you are safe with me. He trusted me more than I trusted myself. It was amazing experience. Muhammed started driving my jet first and I held on to him. Even though I was frightened, he still let me drive and instilled so much confidence in me. Absolutely amazing. We did the 30 minute jet ski ride but they prefer the one hour to get to know you. Choose whichever time you are comfortable with.

We arrived to the marina and was greeted instantly by one of the staff, we was taken inside and given complimentary drinks. Once departing the dock we traveled towards the Burj Al Arab with loads of photo and video opportunities from our guide Jeffery, he was great and made it very exciting, upon arrival back into the dock we was once again greeted with complimentary drinks and sent all our photos and videos from the experience. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience and would very highly recommend booking with them for a once in a lifetime experience, 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had great fun jet skiing with Pancho! He was a good guide and take good pictures in fornt of the Burj Al Arab! He will lead the way on his jet ski but always turn his head back to check every 3 seconds to make sure you are right behind him and safe. Beside that, he also add some fun to the jet skiing tour by turning and weaving around. All around a very great and exciting experience!

I had so much fun not only because of the activity but also because of the accommodating staff. I think good services plays a big role in this kind of business. I highly recommend this to future travellers and locals as well to visit and try as it is really worth it. I am surely come back!!! All the best.

We arrived to pop eye jet ski to be told that their changing rooms were getting renovated. The only changing facilities are a small single pop up tent located on the dock, and the shower I had read about is a hose. Towels are available to buy for 50 AED. No refreshments offered.
Life jackets and a demonstration while on the jet skis, our guide (no idea what his name was) took us out. As this was my first time I was slower than my partner so I stayed behind all of the way.
Plenty of pictures taken by the guide on his phone at the burj al Arab and only here, despite the fact when you’re booking it says Burj Al Arab and burj Khalifa? which were sent immediately to my phone when we got back to the dock. Couldn’t fault this.
I don’t feel that it’s value for money, although hopefully with upgrades to their changing facilities etc, this might change.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, as you mentionned our place was having a big renovation and upgrade which unfortunately can't happen overnight however we did apologise directly when you arrived as we do to all our guests at that time. Therefore yeah we did adapt ourself for the changing room and the shower which are a temporaly solution. You had a complimentary fresh water when you came in and when you came back from your trip. While at sea, you took a 30 mins jetski tour and yes you stayed behind but we did not rush and we did let you go at your own pace as it's a tour not a race, if you wanted to go fast as your partner that would have be fine too, but you did go slower and it was ok as you managed pretty well at then end :-) . Regarding the Burj Al Arab pictures yes it's taken from close by, and Burj Khalifa are just the skyline as it doesn't stand next to the shore.
Again hopefully we ll see you again in our new facilities and make you enjoy more.

Our guide George was fantastic! He explained all the safety rules to us. My friend and I are motorcyclists, and George let us fully express ourselves by going full throttle and taking terrifying turns! We were always under his supervision, and he always made sure we were completely safe.

Terrible experience. The guide Mohammed was rude and rushed the group too much. Had no understanding that this was the first time using a jet ski and a expected everyone to be as fast as a pro. Would reccomend to stay away.

Hi, thanks for your comment, and a bit confused about it, you were you and your boyfriend with the guide so only 2 jetski on a trip with the guide, and your boyfriend decided he wanted to go fast which he did, but you were behind and its fine as we making some stop during the trip for slow driver to catch up. We never asked you to go fast but you felt that way and your boyfriend was super happy about the trip which you even argued with him when he showed you that big smile at the end of his experience. But hopefully next time we make it better and make you feel more at ease.
