This experience was genuinely fantastic. The Dubai Fountain show is next to the Dubai Mall food court and as such the promenade around the fountains gets incredible busy and is usually around 5-6 people deep waiting for the fountains.
The boardwalk offers uninterrupted, relaxed and calm views of the show and for a very reasonable price. The view across the water when the lights are not on is stunning, even when the show is on its is a sight you don’t want to miss.
You also have the Burj Khalifa directly behind you which does it’s own light display too.
Overall, for the small amount of money they ask for, I would highly recommend it. We weren’t time limited either and stayed to watch two shows as they happen every 30mins from 6pm.

For just 20 dirhams, the floating walkway offers a chance to get up close to the spectacular Dubai Fountains.
Depending on where you stand and the song, you can get wet. The kids loved this but if you want to avoid it, move towards the top end of the walkway or look for the areas which don’t have puddles on them.

Not sure why there is a price listed for this. It is free to everyone who can surround the entire Emarr Water Park. It is best viewed from the Bridge near the Five Guys and Tim Horton shops.
Every 30 minuted there is a beautiful water show from the fountains. Each show uses different music and thus, a different water show. Some of the fountain shoot a good 400 feet into the air while others swirl like swans. Between shows there are boat rides around the permitter of the lake (that may be the cost people are referring to.
Also, be between some shows some very artistic videos are shot onto the Bury Khalifa and have sound associate with them. It is worth waiting for at least two shows. There can be large tour groups who come to see just one show and then they go in a fill a restaurant, so you may wish to time you departure to leave before those groups reach the doors back into the Mall if you lan to have a sit-down meal. Right near the water fountain show are restaurants from Turkey, Japan, Italy, USA, Lebanon, and so may other nationalities.
The water show is free and mazing. There are two daytime showing about 1.30 and 2.00 but I found it more spectacular with color and lights in the evening. The shows start at 6.00pm and e new show starts every 30 minutes.

We recently cruised around the United Arab Emirates starting in Dubai and ending in Dubai. We didn’t have time to visit Dubai on arrival but certainly did at the end of the cruise as it arrived in Dubai at 8am and stayed overnight in port. In the evening we visited the Fountain walk bridge it was truly amazing, the water danced in tune to the music. Every half hour it played a different tune from 18.30 till 2100 hrs. Opposite is a couple of restaurants where you can obtain a drink including alcohol where you can watch the display.

Dubai fountain was a good experience and it was very attractive.It is right next to Dubai mall. A great place to get pictures of Burj Khalifa. It has a lot of restaurants by its side where you can sit and enjoy. You can even take a paid ferry which will take you in the water near the fountains and will give you a full round of the area for approximately 10 minutes.

With different music and a different show every half hour you can't go wrong at this spot. The lighting was amazing with excellent synchronization of the fountains and the music. We saw 4 different shows as we had dinner at a outside patio overlooking the fountains. A must do in Dubai!

No one was there when we arrived to give us an idea that we were in the right place. You can see the show from here but having a close view on the pontoon was worthwhile after waiting for staff to arrive. Note you are only out there for around 20 minutes and the pontoon is wet & uneven so not suitable if you have mobility issues.

A unique experience
We watched the show three times.
Twice from the Burj Khalifa, at the top and one floor lower and directly at the well.

I booked this approx 1 month before travel. 4 days before the fountains experiance i was called to say that due to an error they hadn't booked us on and now the time we wanted was full therefore we had to take an earlier time. Fountains really good but you can book when you are there easily in the morning for that evening and its much cheaper than booking through this company. Overpriced and poor customer service.

Maybe because it is like a float you stand on. You can stand at the rails and watch for free. We watched one night on the boardwalk another just standing by the rails both were amazing! You can’t go wrong with either way! The show is every 30 minutes. You can see it durning the day as well as night.

We will arrive Dubai International with EK238 at 7:35PM. We have booked Carlton Downtown Hotel. If we would like to take the option to upgrade for airport transfer. Are you going to transfer us to see the fountain show first or you will drop us off at the hotel? or both hotel and fountain show? What time should we book this ticket with you? And which show do you recommend to watch? Do we have to find our way back to the hotel after the show?
