Although the activity was fun, our driver was not very much taking care of his guests playing very loud music in the car, not communication on what was going to come, having private calls in the car and due to his style of driving we got stuck in the sand whilst dune bashing activity and his tyre got off the wheel. Due to this we arrived very late at the bbq and missed part of the performances. And the most sad part was that he didn’t even apologize for anything that happened. So activity 5 stars, tour guide 1 star. Average 3 stars

Excellent afternoon and evening in the desert. Quite a contrast to the big city! Being driven by our expert driver Faisal on the dunes was a great experience, and the food in the evening was very nice.

They never showed up to pick up. I tried to reach them many times on the day scheduled but no luck. Be careful, this is a SCAM.

I booked this safari weeks in advance. I got a confirmation in my Trip Advisor/Viator account but I never got a phone call or text or whatsapp message from the tour operator (Desert Safari Dubai). I tried messaging them via phone, whatsapp, viator/trip advisor app and even had the viator customer support call them up. They were unable to contact them just like I did. Very disappointing and non-professional behavior. Wasted my day. Please do not ever book with Desert Safari Dubai

Abu Bakar was our guide/driver for the day. Abu was on time, and very friendly. Unfortunately, another couple we were waiting for were very late and we ended up waiting for an hour. They also turned up with two children who were not on the booking. Once that was sorted we were off. The safari it self was so much fun! At all times we felt safe, and Abu frequently checked in on us to make sure we were ok. The dinner was so good, the food was flavourful and there was so much choice. You would have to be super picky to not like it. We left with very full bellies. The shows that were put on were entertaining, especially the fire dancer. We did not pay for extra buggy rides and don’t feel that we missed anything. We waited for our camel ride until everyone was eating and in between refilling our plates. This worked well and we did not have to wait and actually got a longer ride as no one was waiting. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Dubai.

Really good trip. Price didn't include quad bikes (extra charge for going round a really tame flat square). The included camel ride was ok but a bit short. We paid 100AED ( £25) for 2 of us to go on a bit longer ride - guides took excellent snaps and videos of us on our phones. They try to sell you: photo opportunity with local bird of prey; Arab headdress; jewellery, clothes and SAND! Food is good but a bit of a free for all. Water included but extra for other drinks (alcohol available). Entertainment ok. Being driven through dunes is fun, especially with all the 4x4 drivers treating it as a race. Worth asking how much travelling time from your hotel to the attraction

We had a disappointing experience with Desertsafari.com on the 5th Jan Evening Safari. The car was not suitable, especially the last two seats, making it impossible for my wife and me to secure the seatbelt properly. As a result, we decided not to participate in the dune dashing. Instead, we waited on a dune in the desert for the others to finish the activity, which was supposed to take about 45 minutes but ended up taking more than 2 hours. To make matters worse, the car broke down while the driver was with the other four passengers. ( went for Dune Dashing ) It seemed to be a real challenge for the driver to find assistance, especially as it got colder and darker. It felt a bit dangerous standing on a dune with many 4x4s passing by. Eventually, we decided to hike back with another driver, and later, they picked us up to go to the camp with a different car. Unfortunately, our visit to the camp was also underwhelming. It was overcrowded, the music was too loud, and the food was very average. Having lived in Dubai for 18 years, we were surprised by the poor quality of the camp and the fact that the driver had to call so many people for help. Ali, our driver, did his best to make up for the situation, but it was clear that he was not responsible for the car's poor condition

We booked the private desert experience with this company the day before and received a confirmation email with payment being made in full. On the day we tried to contact the company to confirm pick up location and timings as no information was provided on this and the tour was due to start at 3pm. We called numerous times and sent WhatsApp messages but received no response. We finally received a text saying the tour had been cancelled at 2.30pm. No one in the company had bothered to let us know so we effectively wasted an entire day and could not book another experience until the following day. When we messaged the company about this they were extremely rude and stated that they did nothing wrong and if we gave them a negative review about this poor customer service then "that was a threat that doesn't work in the UAE. I am sure it does in the UK but not here". Very shocked by this company that does not know how to treat people.

Where do I even begin? Our tour guide, Tufail was truly one of the kindest, sweetest, and most patient individuals I’ve ever met. From the moment we started, he went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and cared for. His hospitality was unmatched—he treated us more like family than tourists. What stood out the most was his ability to explain everything with such clarity and passion. He took his time to ensure we understood the history, culture, and significance of every place we visited, never rushing us or glossing over details. On top of that, he has amazing photography skills! He captured moments so beautifully that I’ll cherish the photos forever. Whether it was helping us pose or finding the perfect angles, he made sure we all had memories to take home. If you’re looking for a tour guide who genuinely cares, is incredibly knowledgeable, and will leave you with not only great memories but also stunning photos, Tufail is the one. I can’t recommend Tufail enough!

It's a great experience. The desert safari was great. The view is also very nice. Our guide Mr. Raja took us through the safari. Extremely nice.

This is a scam, the tour operator is not picking up calls before the trip. No one confirms the pick up location. Even customer service can't get in contact with them.
