    Good fun!
Quad bikes, dune bashing, camel riding and sand surfing. We paid 250aed each, we had the option of paying 150 each extra to have a 4x4 of our own but shared with another couple, you don’t lose out by doing this. We booked directly with the company after our hotel said there was only private cars available at 450aed each. So it’s worth booking that way, definitely worth the money to break up your holiday and have a bit of fun. It was a 40 min drive to the desert which lets you view a little bit of Dubai you may not otherwise see. We took a rucksack with our own water but we were offered plenty during the time we were there. I was expecting our driver to just turn up and quietly get on with his job, but he made it so much better by cracking jokes, Mr Khan was his name, very friendly but very very funny! Thank you, great experience.

Red Dunes Morning Safari, dune bashing, camel ride...
Early wake up was tough but worth it, we avoided the heat. Rashid our guide picked us up at our lobby w a smile and answered every question we had. Kids are 8 and 11. they loved the dune bashing with Rashid‘s expert and safe driving. It was thrilling, high dunes and the jeep sliding sideways. Beautiful dunes. Sandboarding was not the easiest, but fun. My daughter sat on the board n slid down. Sunglasses were good to protect the eyes from the sand n the sun. Kids were hesitating and did not want to do the camel ride first, but once we were on the camels, they loved it. Rashid took a lot of nice photos of us. After camel ride we sat down for a snack- my husband loved the dates and my daughter and I finished a whole bowl of freshly made „lokma“ and we got to stroke a hawk and take photos with it too.

A definitely Must do in Dubai
If you‘re in Dubai, you should definitely experience the red dune desert safari tour. We had an amazing time and experience with our driver Salim in the dunes. Salim guided us through everything and took a good care of us. And the dune bashing was amazing, it was a new fresh experience for us and we had so much fun! In the evening, we were taken to a camp for appetizers, dinner buffet and entertainment. There was so much selection at the buffet and the shows are amazing. Im not going to give too much details, so you definitely have to experience it yourself!

    Red Dunes Safari
We have been on numerous excursions from Mexico to Italy. However our experience with Red Dunes and our guide Khalid is at the top of the list. Khalid was very kind and courteous. He greeted us outside of Terminal 3 at the Port of Dubai and we began our 45 min trip to the desert. After a brief restroom break I noticed Khalid taking air out the tires of our SUV. That was my first indication the fun was about to start. Khalid is an expert driver and the dune bashing that followed was the highlight of our entire trip. Khalid gave us a thrilling ride over the Red Dunes. Not only is Khalid an expert driver, but an excellent photographer and a decent DJ. He knows exactly which picture to take and the dunes he selected matched his driving maneuvers precisely. After the dune bashing and photo session, we approached an impressive castle looking basecamp that looked like something out of Lawrence of Arabia. We could smell mouth watering barbecue cooking on grills inside the fortress. Inside the camp, water, soft drinks and sandwich wraps were provided complimentary. We were given a chance to freely roam the Bedouin while the sun and moon exchanged positions. The barbecue or more aptly described feast was an epicurean delight with authentic flavors from the region. Steak, lamb, and chicken kabobs were grilled to perfection and the assorted vegetable dishes were too numerous to name. After the feast the entertainment began. Belly dancing and a fire performer rounded out a magnificent excursion. Again thank you Khalid for the adventure of a lifetime!!!!

    Amazing experience
Our guide was Ericson and he ensured we had the best possible time. He helped us taking amazing photos and gave us all important practical information. The camp was amazing and we had lots of fun. On the 'nice-to-have' wish list may be a bit more information about the landscape/historic info we passed by and perhaps a bit more time in the camp (: Buying the VIP package when booking was worth it - it was just a bit extra, but was an experience getting all the food served on small plates at the table to share (instead of going to the buffet). Overall - best part of our trip.

    Supplier did not turn up
No one showed so we called the number to be told that the pick up was in the afternoon. We advised that we had confirmation that pick up was the AM and sent a copy of the message to the number we spoke on. He did not apologise but after cutting the call off, we called back and advised that the lack of service was totally unacceptable especially during a holiday period - he made no attempt to call or email us we had to make all the contact. We advised as I don't think at that point he realised that we had booked this trip through Tripadvisor that we will report the situation. He confirmed verbally that a full refund would be process by close of play on the 31/12/19 - this has not been done

    Camel Rides
I wanted to go to the desert to ride a Camel. I only wanted a short ride and a picture. My Camel adapted to me like we already knew each other. I enjoyed this experience.

    Definite must
Worth the money. Value for Money trip for an exciting short cruise across the dessert dunes on a 4x4. Decent Buffett dinner and performance included. For a better dessert dune definitely head to Liwa Moreeb Dunes. Luxury tours did a good job apart from the extremely unfriendly and rude bus driver * 9 Nov 2019. Did not contact us as he should have to arrange for pick up and was totally rude about it. Consider sending him for a Public relations workshop. Thanks.

    The Walk and The Beach
must visit place, a very fun vibrant beach side full of different resturants and shops, and a big residential area. you can go for a swim followed by a great breakfast/ lunch/ dinner by the beach. Cinemas available and kids play area (indoor and outdoor) kids can bring their scooters, perfect place for a nice walk or jog. Its a lovely place that never goes wrong.

I would give it no stars if possible. Scam artists, don’t go here. The dune driving is fun but don’t go to the place after here you get food and camel riding. Sick minded, twisted and evil people run the place. Scam artists from top to bottom. The actual experience doesn’t cost a lot but if you order drinks or shisha they don’t tell you the price, then charged us £2000 for a couple beers and a shisha. Yes £2000 not dhirums. Horrible place and people. Can’t recommend not going here enough.

We had a brilliant time with Red Dunes safari and our driver was excellent. He picked us up from our hotel on time and was cleary a very skilled driver in the dunes! The 'dune bashing' was like being on a roller coaster - the kids particularly loved it and at no time did we feel unsafe despite being at some incredible driving angles along, up and down the dunes! We stopped for sunset pictures in the most beautiful location in the dunes. One thing to note is that you are not alone on this tour and we joined a convoy of around 15/20 vehicles but this was not an issue and did not in any way detract from the experience. The Bedouin camp was good, the camel rides were very short - just round in a circle - again not an issue and given the number of people it meant that we didn't have to queue. Dune boarding didn't really happen as you couldn't strap into the board so the kids used it as a sledge! The food was ok and the entertainment was very good.

Amazing! The ATV ride is awesome! We felt very safe even with a smaller teenager. We used 2 double ATVs. I drove together with my small daughter and my wife drove with my oldest son (nether of than had never drove a bike or ATV before but both succeeded driving this one easily). The time we spent in the desert camp was awesome as well specially because we had the luck to have this AMAZING guide named Asim. He did everything to make our experience unforgettable. Thanks so much, Asim!
