We booked this boat tour whilst sat in Starbucks in the Mall. We went for the earliest time that had availability and had a gentle walk over to the landing stage. We were first in with another couple and enjoyed a sail around the lake and then watch the fountains as the sun set. This was honestly worth the money (approx £14) and it made our day.

The views and fountain show were amazing. Took some great photos and videos. Thought it very expensive though. Get free photo at end of ride.

We did this tour in December 2023 on a short visit to Dubai and I made the reservation through the Burj Khalifa website. It was a great way to see the fountains up close. Hundreds of people were lined up all along the water to see the fountain show and it was great to get this front row view. The ride lasted under 30 minutes - more like 20 -25 minutes and the boat held about 8 people - so we rode with another family.

The checking in procedure was already a desaster and we left too late. The show was boring and the food was not good. Alcoholic drinks were not available. The restrooms were dirty. We did not come as close ad promised to the Burj Khalifa. So the fireworks were too far away. On the way back we had a collision with two boats. One minor collision and one more serious, while landing. In the end the Captain touched the pier heavily when he was trying to land the boat. We were all happy when we finally set our feet on land again. It was a nightmare.

We had booked this experience months before and the day before we were due to see the fountain show the provider abruptly told us we had to cancel. They never gave an explanation but they said unless we canceled we would be charged the full price. I begged them not to cancel us as it was an experience we were looking forward to but they insisted we must cancel otherwise we would not be refunded, and that for some reason they were unable to cancel for us. We had difficulty with internet in our hotel but ultimately we were able to do so, and then we were still questioned by viator on why we had canceled, even though the provider forced us to, and it was at such a late date we had no opportunity to reschedule with another operator. It took a lot of time handling this and was very disappointing. We have not yet received the refund for the cancellation that we were forced to make, and we were never given a reason why we were forced to cancel by the provider.

Highly recommend this boat ride. Serene peaceful and the upfront view of the light and water Dubai fountain show is worth it. Do it! :)

Booked on the 6:45 boat to see the 7 o’clock fountain show. We arrived 20 minutes early and waited for our boat. At 6:55 we still weren’t on a boat and we’re told sorry we are full you will have to come back later. Completely unapologetic and no guarantee we would get on for the next show as it’s “really busy•. Be warned, don’t expect to get on a boat even if you pay for it. If you do get on a boat also consider the boats have canopies and are close to the fountains so you won’t see the full height of the show. Don’t waste your money and time and just watch them for free from the railings around the lake where you will get a better view.

My recent Dubai desert safari was simply amazing. Dune bashing, sandboarding camel rides, and a delectable dinner at a charming desert camp made it unforgettable. I highly recommend this thrilling and cultural experience!

We enjoyed our trip so much. Each part of it was interesting and memorable but what we liked the most was the desert safari itself thanks to our driver Malik, who was professional, genuine and informative. He took photos of us in the desert, for which he had a lot of creative ideas. Malik made our trip extremely fun and comfortable. We highly recommend taking this trip and if you can, definitely go with Malik.

TripAdvisor ticket was not accepted by operator even though confirmation states mobile voucher accepted. We were sent from place to place taking 1.5hrs to try get sorted, missed our next meal. The other stand we tried (inside Dubai mall) after being pushed away by the ticket desk at the boardwalk wouldnt accept either!! No way to actually use the ticket and ruined our first night on our honeymoon, a surprise for my new wife!!!! Going round in circles! Either use TripAdvisor to sell tickets and accept them or just don’t advertise on it!! I have submitted for a refund and expect it all or I will be raising further with Trip Advisor over and over until my money is not wasted, as well as the time I have already wasted!

It was awful. It was not at all as represented. All we were given for 2 hours was water, then a cold dinner that was awful. There was hair in my food. Little plastic cups for water or the 2 kinds of soft drinks they served, plastic spoons they broke when you tried to use them. It was not festive for New Years Eve, although we paid $200/person for a NYE dinner cruise. Buying this through Tripadvisor and Viator, I expected a quality experience. I was extremely disappointed that such an awful experience was offered on these sites!
