    An amazing sunrise breakfast and city tour
    What an absolutely amazing experience!!!! We had a 12hr stopover in Dubai and wanted to experience as much as we could in such a short time. We were picked up by Ali at 4.30am at the airport and whisked away to an amazing sunrise experience. After having next to no sleep on our plane we were extremely tired but all of that seemed to momentarily disappear with such a beautiful sunrise and breakfast. Breakfast was delicious!!! We were then taken for a city tour by Mariette who was so knowledgeable and friendly :) unfortunately the jet lag got the better of us but we managed to get a lot of stops in before hand. Thank you Mary for organising such an amazing day. We are so grateful for such a beautiful experience and we can’t wait to come back and explore Dubai for longer. 100% recommend!

    Totally worth the experience!
    It was amazing! We had such a great time and Prashanth is such a good guy, guide, driver and chef. Also the whole team was excellent, including the falcon trainer and the camel trainer. Dinner was delicious and we had a blast! Super romantic and private, as we wanted! Thank you so much for the experience!

    Amazing Adventure!
    A must when visiting Dubai! Staff picked up right at the hotel, on time! Driven out to the beautiful desert and spent the morning with one amazing adventure! The entire staff was so helpful and made my trip such a fabulous experience! Special thanks to my host, Baiju Chacko and all the staff at Destination Insight.

    This was my third desert safari and i can say the best one! there wasn't any rush from the company, the food was amazing. our driver Bajun was very polite and nice. great experience!

    Excellent desert adventure
    Had an excellent trip with Prashanth, gentle desert dune ride, lots of information and pictures to remember the trip. The evening at the camp was very entertaining and the bbq buffet dinner was good. I would definitely recommend Destination Insight for your desert safari experience, they couldn't be more attentive, accomodating and helpful from start to finish.

    Prasanth - Best Desert Driver 🤙🏽
    The Desert Safari tour was amazing! We booked via Mail and everything was very uncomplicated, we were 4 adults and 1 child. The company also organised an child seat, that was more than perfect. Our driver’s name was Prasanth, he was a really cool guy with a 18 years experience in desert safari. The driving skills were amazing in the desert, but also in the street. Driving in the desert is his dream job and you really can feel it 👌🏼 It was a pleasure to meet him, I can definitely recommend him! So If you gonna book an Desert Safari, trust me, ask for Prasanth as your driver, you will not regret it.

    A unique overnight experience in Liwa
    Overnight in Liwa: again, a great job by Destination Insight team during the day and the evening as they took care of everything to make sure our group of friends could enjoy every minute in this amazing landscape. They know very well Liwa and they find the right spot for the camp.

    Family fun dune bashing
    We had an excellent trip with Baiju. He ensured that the dune bashing was safe for our 4 and 6 year olds. We all had great fun and loved seeing the beauty of the desert. Highly recommend this trip & operator.

Having lived in UAE 12 years and done a few of these tours, I recommend Destination insight 100%. The staff are professional, courteous, safe and extremely competent.


The desert driving near fossil rock is a fabulous spot with only a few cars doing the tour so you don't feel like there are too many people sharing your experience.
The entertainment at the camp is fantatsic- falcon show, camels, sandboarding, dancing, fire acrobatics, and the food /drink provided are tasty.

You will have a great time if you book with these guys!

Brilliant desert safari
We took two private cars for a desert safari with family visitors. Salim was on time, courteous and made sure we got great photos.

We have done other safaris where we did not do real dune bashing, just a drive in the desert. With destination insight we got to experience the real deal! Our kids and visitors were squealing with delight at the great driving.

The meal at the camp was great and we enjoyed the variety of entertainment. Soft drinks were included and alcohol was available at very reasonable prices (for Dubai).

It was a great experience and highly recommended.

Incredible experience!

If you’re considering a desert safari I highly recommend using this company. Our driver Hakkem was fantastic. Picked us up on time and was completely professional. My husband and I added the 1 hr quad bike and private driver option. Although expensive compared to other offers, we thought it was definitely worth the price and great value. We were the first ones there and got a private tour of the vast, empty desert on quad bikes. The other quad bike options are in a small, fenced off area and certainly not the same experience. The camp was not too crowded. Plenty of seats and short line for buffet. Food was surprisingly good. Overall a unique and memorable experience!

Very unprofessional experience!
Unfortunately we never got a chance to do this excursion because 2 days before we were supposed to go, they cancelled it, even though I had booked a month ahead of time. The camp was being inspected by the municipality and was closed to the public the only day we could do the tour.
I understand that sometimes these things happen, the company dealt with it very poorly and with little consideration for the inconvenience they caused us.
As soon as they realised that we could not rebook for another day and we would have to cancel, they ignored my messages. All I asked was for a recommendation of another company we could use instead. They couldn’t even bother to reply to my message.
Very unprofessional in every way and I will be sure not to recommend this company to any friends or family.

The best day ever!!

Wow! I booked this as a team building event for my team who are based in UK, US and Germany. This was our first time getting together since Covid so we decided to take some time for some team building while over in Dubai.

The feedback from my colleagues who are very well travelled was that this was the best activity they have ever done.

From start to finish we were looked after, Ali in particular made sure we had fun, gave us a great insight into the areas we travelled through on the way to the desert. He looked after us all - even me who was ever so slightly fearful of what I had signed up to.

The food was amazing we had fun and laughter from the moment we left the hotel.

Another mention to Mary who was fantastic at looking after me during our conversations prior to the event, she went over and above to make sure we got what we asked for - and more.

This is definitely a must do for anyone coming to Dubai.

Perfect. Highly recommended.
Door-to-Door service with hours of entertainment in between.

If you’re in Dubai, this is a must do, and this company was great.

Drivers were punctual, courteous and professional. Cars were pristine.

Picked us up from our home, went dune bashing in the desert, soiled our pants in the process, and then went to the camp site that was well equipped to provide us with food and entertainment for hours on end.

This company didn’t skimp and cut corners like some other safaris I’ve been on - dune bashing was actual dune bashing in the middle of the desert (and not a 2 minute drive to the site), camp site was great, food was great, had 4 different shows, falconry, camel rides, sand boards, and the list goes on and on. Kids loved every minute of it.

Would give them more stars if I could. No complaints, highly recommended.

Unforgettable experience we loved it

This was an amazing and unique experience. A must to do in Dubai with Salman who was our guide and driver. He is so attentive and always checking on tourists to have a great time. We went to the desert to have a boost of adrenaline while driving the car above the dunes, this was soooo exciting and we all loved it!

Also Salman is a great person, very knowledgeable and he was explaining us about Dubai during our trip to the desert. He provided drinks, excellent music and later we went to do sand boarding, he took so great pictures of us and videos during sunset.

This tour was amazing, beyond what I expected, exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to do it with Salman which is a very fun and cool guy.

The car was in excellent conditions, great air conditioning and later we went to eat dinner while we enjoy a dancing show, it was buffet with delicious food.

We loved it so much 😊

Good but small improvements could be made

Mostly great experience, however we did feel communication was lacking at points during our safari which is where the safari loses a star (would give 3.5 if I could) . The quad biking which we added as an additional activity was very fun. We really enjoyed the entertainment and dune bashing too. Our driver was extremely competent and we felt safe at all times. He happily slowed down when I stated to feel a little sick at the end of dune bashing. Sandboarding was too rushed, maybe 5 minutes. We were also not really given much information about what was happening at times. When we got to the camp for dinner and entertainment we felt our driver could've given us a bit of information as we had never been before and didn't know how things worked (like where to get drinks, the fact you could buy beer etc). Finally when I first enquired on the phone I was told the camp was very exclusive but it was actually quite busy, so very different to how I imagined. Food was to a good standard but buffet was too overcrowded (because of covid this could've been organised better). Overall I had a great time but improvements could definitely be made too.

Amazing experience - well worth the $$

Booked a desert safari + bbq + ATV last minute via WhatsApp. Mary was extremely efficient and helpful in providing information and facilitating the booking.

A private pickup was sent to our doorstep. The driver, Jafar arrived promptly. Jafar was lovely - he was knowledgeable, professional and took good care of us, especially when one of our friends felt nauseous during the dune bashing. The Jeep sent for us was spotless & comfortable.

The campsite for dinner was lovely/well kept. We were pleasantly surprised by the yummy bbq buffet & the entertaining dance shows. Thankfully there weren’t too many guests so it was easy to distance and enjoy the desert.

COVID guidelines were being followed & they kept reminding everyone of the protocol, just wished the buffet would’ve been served by the staff as opposed to the guests helping themselves.

The package included a mini camel ride & unlimited sand boarding (both done at the camp). Other package components were soft drinks, water, shisha starters & a buffet bbq.

We added on 30 minutes of ATV/dune buggies to our package. The venue for the ATVs was a bit chaotic but Jafar got us our buggies in no time at all. COVID protocols weren’t managed well unfortunately - no sanitization of buggies, toilets had no toilet paper & a lot of people maskless.

However, we had a fantastic time riding the buggies. The ATV staff were riding around the path and promptly driving over to assist anyone that was stuck.

Will highly recommend Destination Insight!

Catch up in the desert!!

We had such a great experience out in the desert last night with the guys from Destination in Sight. Mary has a great eye for detail and really knows how to build a camp that in these times sticks to covid regulations but can still feel cosy. We had fun with an archery competition, enjoyed the abundant bbq and sat around the fire catching up and chatting......fabulous!
