It is such an epic structure and a true design and construction feat that I am thankful I got to explore. Our guide Pri was so knowledgeable on everything about the Grand Mosque and the other sites we got to explore. We really learned so much about the history and the purpose of the sites. Additionally, it isn't exactly cold in the UAE and the cars provided by Dubai on Foot were luxurious and cooled us right down. 30 minutes after contacting for a private tour we were all set. The four of us loved our evening historic walk tasting and stopping at small restaurants tucked inside the sooks. One of has some allergies so a few changes had to be made but seemed easy enough. Food was absolutely delicious and a lot. All the stories she shared were enthralling. Every dollar spent was worth it.

This tour was the perfect experience for my first trip to Dubai! The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. She kept the group entertained and engaged the entire time and also gave some great recommendations for places to visit/eat to help me organise the rest of my time in the city. Highly recommended!

This was a great tour walking through Dubai's main sights and getting a chance to try some local food. Since we were only there for a quick visit, this tour gave us the chance for a bit of it all. The guide was entertaining and we learned a lot about the city and the culture.

We were a family of three adults and three teenagers who arrived to the tour 20 minutes late. Our guide was waiting for us patient and cheerful. Immediately we went from feeling guilty to being relaxed and then excited for the tour. We embarked on a casual informal walk through busy markets with tastings of food and culture. We were delighted to have booked this experience and to date mark it as the best thing we did in Dubai.

We had an incredible time on this food tour! Pri was an amazing guide, taking us to hidden spots where we enjoyed dishes like lamb, machbooz rice and khabees. Her enthusiasm for Emirati cuisine was truly inspiring. Dubai by Foot provided a delightful experience for our group!

The tour was nothing short of amazing! The traditional boat ride was a very nice touch. The views were amazing and the weather was just perfect.
We loved learning about the infulence of Irani and Indian spices on the Emirati food. We had a very knowledgeable guide and our experience was very informative and enjoyable.
I recommend this tour to everyone for an authentic cultural experience of Dubai, away from all the glitz and glamour.

I love taking a food tour in every city I visit. It helps me understand the culture in a more intimate way. The food was tasty and the boat ride was a nice way to immerse into the experience of Dubai.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the old Dubai Souks. The shops were amazing with all sorts of spices I didn't know existed and some amazing perfumes which I had never smelt before.
As a foodie I was so happy that I got to taste some truly authentic Arabic food and really tick that off my list with confidence.
Last but not least was the incredible enthusiasm of our guide Pri! She is such a gem, so knowledgeable and personable, she was definitely a highlight.

Everything was so delicious. Pri is so knowledgeable and explained everything so well. I’m so glad I did this early in our trip because the rest of our trip I was able to identify the food that I had. Knowing the dishes and history, just made everything taste so much better. The spice market was amazing!!! I could’ve gone back and spent hours just looking at all the colors and the smells the spices. I’m already planning a shopping trip to try and get some of the spices once I get back home.

The Dubai by Foot flavors of Arabia food tour was great. Pri, our guide, was awesome and super knowledgeable. You get to learn about the history while tasting authentic Emirati cuisine. There is plenty of food so come hungry. Highly recommend you do it!
