Very highly recommend these guys. What an amazing experience. Can't not explain enough in words, best thing we did in Dubai during our 10 day stay and that is saying something. The staff were amazing, very professional and made us feel like VIP guests. Our guide, Ali, went above and beyond and gave us a true 5* experience. The starting point was very easy to access, the boat itself was powerful and easy to control. We spent 90 mins on water and saw so so much. Had amazing opportunities to stop and take amazing photos and selfies. Price wise, I felt it was great value for money considering we had 90 minutes on the boat. The team at Hero OdySea made our holiday. Definitely highly recommend. Will back again. Thank you Ali and the team.

I've been living in the UAE for 9 years and this is one of those experiences I would recommend to friends whenever they are coming to town.
The boat can reach up to 50km/h and cruising the ocean feels fantastic and very safe.
Our guide Armin was really friendly and overall we had an awesome experience!

This was a very polished experience.
There was a short safety and boat use briefing before we were shown to our boats.
The boats are comfortable and very user friendly with simple controls and a steering wheel like that in a car. The speed is straightforward to control and the boats can travel up to 50 kilometres per hour.
We had a guide and one other staff member to accompany our group of four boats. We stopped at Burj Al Arab, a private island and the World Islands, with the guide each time giving us interesting information and taking pictures and videos of all of the guests.
The tour lasts for 90 minutes and is a unique way to see the city. The sea was slightly rough on the day we took the trip which made for an interesting experience but we felt safe throughout.
The staff were great and constantly checking that everyone in the group was ok and enjoying the trip.

Our guide Armel was absolutely incredible! He took us on an extended tour, really pushed us both to make sure that we drove the boats, adding to the experience. His amazing personality and knowledge of the UAE made the tour even better…he was thoroughly entertaining and gave us one of the best days that we have had in the UAE in a long time. Highly recommend everybody to do this tour - we will certainly be back ☺️ And do really take money for a tip! The guides are absolutely incredible ❤️

I participated in both the Sunset and Sunrise tours and it was an enjoyable experience !
The boats are self drive and easy to learn accompanied with a simple tutorial from one of the instructors in the beginning.
My instructor was Ali and he was great - he took as to Burj Al Arab and Palm Atlantis. Ali was patient and took some lovely pictures and videos.
Some parts of the boat ride we’ve experienced some waves however nothing too extreme - the boats are extremely safe and also has a compartment for you to store your belongings. Waterproof bags, water bottles and lockers provided by Hero Odysea are also a big bonus!
TIP - If you arrive super early there is a small cafe serving refreshments which is about a 2 min walk away from the Hero Odysea base.
Hero staff will also assist you with wi fi connection and taxi bookings

It was really enjoyable and exciting! Having a closer look with Ain Dubai, Atlantis, The Palm & the beautiful Burj Al Arab is really great. Especially you are the captain of your own Boat so you decide to go fast or slow. It is also very easy to control! Armin was such a great guide and a leader, he will make sure that everyone is safe and doing great. Will definitely share this experience to everyone I know. Looking forward on coming back & hopefully to see the beautiful sunset. Thank you HERO OdySEA for such a wonderful experience!

Just had an amazing time taking a self drive boat around the palm.
Our guide Ali was excellent and took us on a tour to see some truly amazing sites you can only see close from such a vantage point.
The little boats are excellent and you can get quite a speed up - and race other boats like we did’

Had a brilliant time with these guys. We came across them totally by accident but reviews were great so we gave it a go. The boats are easy to handle and pretty quick, also no problem if you have no experience - my partner took the helm for half the trip despite never having done anything like this before. The route takes you through Dubai Harbour to the Burj Al-Arab and then around the Palm to see Atlantis from the water. All in it lasts around 90 minutes on the boat but we were out there longer which was a bonus. You follow a guide boat which makes navigating simple, our guide was Ali and he was friendly, helpful and did an all round great job. He also took pictures and video on his camera for us and sent them to us afterwards - we really appreciated that this was all part of the service and there was no attempt or need to upsell.
In short, this is great fun and I’d recommend it to anyway who wants to get out on the water for a unique experience.

Must do when in Dubai. As an alternative to jet skiing... this self drive boat tour was an incredible experience. Our tour guide Ali was very friendly and took amazing photos of us. You feel safe when driving the boat and can get up to some good speed. Although we didn't see Atlantis on our trip we definitely recommend it.

This was our 2nd visit to Hero Odysea Boats - Dubai. Our guide Khamis took us on another sea adventure showing us the sights of JBR, Burj Al Arab and the Sheik’s private island from our well equipped speedboat for 2.
We did the 90 minute tour which is perfect for making sure you get to see everything. Khamis kept us safe whilst allowing us to go at a good speed to ensure we had plenty of fun.
We enjoy this trip so much we have booked for a 3rd adventure with them before we leave the UAE 🇦🇪

They are 1 or 2 seaters but you go out with an instructor who also rides one don't know if they can take a child on with them you can contacts them via facebook though

They provide a Dry bag which can be stored on the boat. You can also leave non-valuable belonging onshore - it seemed a safe and quiet pier.
