- Departure384989980220 contributionsExcellent time to spend with family and friendsWe experienced trough events like dune bash for about 30 mins, then at the desert village they had the dance show, dinner buffet (good options for non-veg, and the fire show. They also had free hookah options available. Water was supplied throughout the trip of approx 6-7 hrs including pick and drop. Our pickup person Aqsem was a wonderful person, his hospitality was wonderful. He also was a guide and showed us couple of sight seeing point while travelling. Overall this is a must try experience, value for money and good show with nice people like Aqsem. Thank you the entire team and specially Aqsem...😊😊Written September 7, 2024

On our tour it was us and another group and we all got on well. Sunny made the trip more interesting by providing a very informative commentary on the sights. The tour of the Grand Mosque was great and would like to thank Richard (the Mosque guide) for his very informative tour. Mosque was spectacular. The rest was not. Staff where nice and communication was fair but they were very late picking me up. Drive is reasonable in their van considering the cheap price. The problem is that the other stops are purely delivering you to vendors to make a hard sales pitch to you. Some not serious like the dates at the market but lots of overwhelming sales pressure. Nothing else to do their except buy dates. The worst was the jewelry and rug sales. You are rushed thru a little display and then sat down in a space you cannot escape from and sold at. Nice stuff but very high pressure. Finally Ferrari world which might be a great place but we did not have time to go in or go on the rides. So you can get a $50 photo in a race car or buy merchandise. That’s it.
There is a reason this tour is cheap (relatively). I would recommend looking at getting a rent a car and using a god to go the mosque and whatever else catches you interest.

We had a very bad experience with Rah Tours. We almost could've missed our return flight from Dubai due to very bad management by the company person named Habib( if I am correct).
1. We booked the tour through Groupon and as per your Groupon Booking tool, we did our booking for the reserved date and filled in all the details, However Mr Habib told us he doesn't have any reservations at all.
2. For the trip to start at 9.00 AM , we kept calling him and on the other numbers mentioned on the company website from 8.45 until 9.45 AM and there was no response. At 9.45 he finally picked up and then arranged for a pick up which happened eventually at 10.45 AM
3. As per the itinerary we were supposed to be dropped back at 6 PM but Mr Habib had added other customers in our car who had different package and asked us to wait for 3 additional hours that is until 8 PM in Abu Dhabi
4. On informing that we have a flight to take, he asked us to take a taxi on our own back to Dubai
5. On telling that we do not have enough money to do that, he told the driver to give them 100 Dhms and send them off on their own. Note the cost from Abu Dhabi to Dubai is more than 250 - 300 Dhms
6. He was also very rude with us over the phone.
7. Somehow with the help of driver, we managed to beg for a lift to Dubai and reach just in time
Please avoid this tours completely.

Overall the tour itself was okay. The guide insisted on doing one hour At the mosque when on the program it had allocated two hours for the site. he was good at explaining the locations we saw on the tour. The biggest issue is the stop at the Miraj Islamic art gallery which is not so much a gallery as it is a store. The owner of the store aggressively tried to push these (beautiful) but extremely overpriced “gold” hand woven rugs in a huge rush. The place we were taken for lunch was ok but again very overpriced. All in all, worth the price for the tour itSelf but don’t buy into any of the pit stops.

The guide skipped a couple of places on the itinerary and he was rushing through most places we visited. He dropped us off at a very expensive restuarant for lunch which was AED 69 per person buffet even though the malls and eateries were open. Overall a below average experience from Trip advisor.

I’ve taken this same tour with another company years ago and I had a good time and I learned a lot. This particular company was terrible on so many different levels. Firstly, I contacted the tour company days before the tour to get clarity on the COVID restrictions/requirements. They did not respond until nearly midnight the day before the tour stating that a test is required. There was no way we could obtain a test at midnight so we had to reschedule our tour. This affected our entire vacation as all of our days were already planned out with activities.
The night before our tour the driver contacted me to confirm pick up time of 9am. On the day of our tour the driver had not arrived at the scheduled time. I reached out to him at 9:15 and he assured that he would be there and sent a map showing a 9:39 arrival time. He did not show up at this time either. The driver finally showed up over an hour late and we still had more people to pick up. I later found out that everyone was given a 9am pick up time!
We arrived to the first location which was scheduled for a 2 hour visit. Once we were dropped off (yes dropped off, not accompanied by a tour guide) the driver sent me a message to “come out after 10 minutes will be pick you up”. It took more than 20 minutes to gain entry and wait in the “no tour guide” lines.
As the trip continued to driver continued to get lost and take us to places that he was unfamiliar with and security guards had to keep assisting him with directions and ticketing info. We approached one of the stops and they informed us that we needed tickets to enter and the driver had no idea what we needed to do to enter. It was a mess. We continued to call the tour company and they stopped responding.
We as customers had to try and guide the driver, who we could barely communicate with. All of the passengers spoke English and the driver did not. This trip was not what was advertised and they stole our money. Furthermore they refused to offer a full or partial refund and Trip advisor has ignored the facts and supported them. It’s disheartening as we booked based on Trip Advisors merit and in this case it did not matter.

When the car came to pick us at the hotel, the driver came in a 3 row Toyota SUV. Since we were the last to be picked up, my wife and I had to sit in the third row which was extremely uncomfortable. I am 6’2” so I hardly fit in that row. I called the Rah Office and they told me that either I had to take it or miss the trip with no refund!!! I was pissed off. My wife is claustrophobic and she could hardly breath at the beginning of the trip. The office attendant told us that we would switch cars in Abu Dhabi. When we got to the mosque in Abu Dhabi, they sent us to another car and they shuffled all the passengers around. In our car they sent two relatively small ladies to the third row of the car. It was a mess. People were upset with these changes in the middle of the tour. Other than this issue, the driver was extremely good and nice.. The cars are uncomfortable. They should use small vans or buses to have a more pleasant trip. I recommend it if you are not tall, can stand changes in the middle of the tour, and do not mind to travel 4 hours on a road trip with 7 people in a Toyota SUV.

My family and I had an amazing day on the Abu Dhabi tour. Our guide Qasim was very welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He got in touch the day before with pick up time and location details which instantly put us at ease. Qasim was punctual and the timeline/ itinerary of the trip was followed through. He was very patient and responsive to all of our questions (and we had a lot) and willingness to learn more about the culture. The car was large enough and the A/C kept us cool. We throughly enjoyed our trip which would not have been the same without Qasim. He took great care of us throughout the entire day. It was our pleasure to have selected RAH Tourism Dubai for the tour. The tour was very well organised, interesting, informative and great value for money.

This was poorly done and honestly could easily be done all on your own and your leisure. I basically just got a ride to Abu Dhabi. Which does beat the taxi cost, but for a tour, I gained nothing from it. The first guide (we ended up needing two) was prompt and on time, but didn't provide any real info. Yes, he rattled off some facts as if he memorized them but gave no context or antidote to the facts. Outside of the random facts, we road in silence. We got to the Grand Mosque (absolutely beautiful) wete given about an hour and a half to walk around and meet back up. When we met back, we were informed that the guide's SUV (which for 6 adults plus the tour guide made for an uncomfortable trip) and we had to wait another hour + for a new ride so we ate lunch at the mosque instead of wherever we were supposed to. About 1.5 hours later, another guide with another SUV showed up. It was more of the same. He took us to a "museum," which is just a tourist money grab where they try to sell you artwork and jewelry. Then we went to Abu Dhabi Heritage Village which I guess would've been nice if we hadn't gotten there at 345 and they closed at 4. Just about all of the exhibits were closed when we got there. We were supposed to go to Emirates Palace, but that was closed due to some scheduled Government officials being there and us needing a reservation to gwt in. The company simply calling and verifying the locations on the route and their times would have saved these issues. We then went to yet another tourist trap. A market where everyone sales dates and fruit and "has the best price". Then lastly, we were given about 20 or do minutes "at Ferrari World"/the mall. While Ferrari World looks amazing, you have to pay a general admission fee to get in and actually do anything and with less than an hour to be there, what's the point? Again, this is something that could easily be done on your own and without the gimmicks. Either rent a car or just stay a few days in Abu Dhabi so you can do the things you want at your leisure.

Small SUV packed 6 of us plus driver in like sardines. For a 1 1/2 hour trip each way this was very uncomfortable especially with seat backs straight up and not adjustable, and unable to take pics along the way. We stopped at the required stops but they were basically planned shopping trips. A waste of time was the Hatta?? Museum which was 5 mins of showpiece art then 25 mins of offers to buy rugs, Shawls, watches etc at exorbitant prices. We just walked through the mosque but would have liked a guided tour with historical and cultural information. Ferrari World was basically a mall with a Ferrari shop and display items. If you are a Ferrari enthusiast you should pay and take your time going through the exhibit. It was difficult to take pics from this small suv as we were whizzing past. The tour guide did his best to highlight photo ops but it was almost impossible to hear him or take good pics from his car. The tour was supposed to end at 5:30ish but we did not get back to the hotel until 6:30 (even though we had all agreed to not visit the Date Market) which made us late for another appointment. A disappointing tour.

Underwhelming experience.
The mosque was beautifully and the visit was very well organised.
The museum visit was only focused on getting us to buy rugs.
The ferrari world visit was literally being left outside the entrance and nothing else.
The palace visit was taking pictures from across the water about 2 miles away (although I wouldn't have expected to get right outside the door lol)
The food offered for lunch was way over priced 69dhs per head for basically 1 plate of food.
The dates market was not a market but just a shop.
Although our guide was very welcoming and funny this does not make up for the underwhelming overall experience

The van will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. The van fits 12 people. Women have to be covered from head to toe to enter the mosque. Men can have short sleeves, but the knees have to be covered.

In my experience they were very flexible to my pick up and drops, they do consider if you are opting for a private tour. Yet you may confirm once with the tour operator.

I have been researching various options through the Trip Advisor website ( 10 different tours so far ) - to determine which would be the most suitable for the 5 days we are in Dubai.
This is the first tour I have noted the following ...
"Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for travelers".
Is this advise still curren as at 30 May 2023 - and if so can you please advise why this is the only tour requiring this ? Thank you.
