Dubai Bedouin Culture Experience with Wildlife Safari and Breakfast
From $138.00
Overview
Dubai’s traditional Bedouin culture is best witnessed in the desert: its original home. This tour takes you to a Bedouin desert camp to see some of the traditions of these ancient peoples. Ride a camel, see Saluki dogs and falconry, watch cooking demos, savor a desert breakfast, and enjoy a vintage Land Rover wildlife safari in Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve—all for a full immersion into Bedouin life.
What to Expect
Depart your Dubai hotel by air-conditioned vehicle and travel into the desert as you hear about ancient Bedouin culture.

Ride a camel to a nomadic Bedouin camp and be welcomed with coffee, dates, and rose water. See goat-hair tents and other facilities—all testament to Bedouin ingenuity—and chat with some local storytellers.

Meet the Bedouins’ Saluki dogs to learn how they’re used with falcons for desert hunting, and watch a falconry display. See how to cook Arabic specialities, such as a dish of fava beans and vegetables (ful medames), and enjoy a traditional dancing show.

Then, after a Bedouin breakfast served on a sharing platter, take a vintage Land Rover wildlife safari in Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Soak in the reserve's beauty as you look for wildlife, and hop out en route to learn how the Bedouins use flora and fauna, before ending your experience with a hotel drop-off.

You'll absolutely love it!

Getting up early and traveling out to the desert for breakfast had me skeptical but the drive out was splendid and not that far. They drape traditional scarves on your heads that you keep before you go to meet up with the camels. They were...More
