The helpers are very very very ineffecient, untrained, they spoil 30-50% of the usefull time by letting no one slide. They have a lack of tyres for in the big slides which causes even more deadtime. There were too many people. There are only few places You can enjoy if your child is below 120cm tall. Normal ticket basically allows You to enter the waterpark. Wait times for forms were roughly an hour, after queuing for 30 minutes to order the food. Premium seating sells out within 30 minutes of the park opening. No lockers available when we arrived either, and no seating. We had to walk across the park for 20 minutes to find one sunbed. You can queue for 30 minutes at guest services to be told this, they don’t have a screen telling you what has sold out. We spent 5/6 hours in queues. It might be the world’s biggest, but it’s not the best by far. Poor management and the fact they allow too many visitors in to use the facilities.Written December 30, 2024

The whole concept is so well thought out that we enjoyed every second of our stay. Even after 50 rides we did not have a single scratch. Every single member of staff was smiling and helpful. The food was also good and prices were not over the top. Be aware though that you will do a lot of walking and stair climbing. In mid December the waiting times were very short, but we started to feel cold after lunch since the pools are not warm and outside temperatures were just 22 degrees.Written December 20, 2024

We got there when doors opened and didn't run out of things to do all day! The waterslides are incredible, albeit the wait lines are quite large and the 'skip-the-lines' pass is expensive. I would recommend buying the skip the lines pass if you can afford it, you'll get much more fun in without standing in line.
When we were knackered, we would jump on the tube and float down the river lazily then finished our visit with a visit to the aquarium which was awesome! I think this Aquarium is better than the one in the mall in Dubai.
Overall, a bit expensive and the queues are long, but had a blast and would go back!

We early booked our ticket that included a 1 day entry to the waterpark, the Lost Chambers aquarium and also a meal deal at around 340 AED. Went it right at the opening time and there were very few people. Truth to be said it was a slightly windy day, but would have expected more people. But whatever, good for us, less queuing time at the slides.
The two major towers provide you with the best slides. At Neptune's tower you have several interesting water slides using a tube and the famous Leap of Faith when you go through a shark tank. It's very interesting to try that out and an experience full of adrenaline. However, the real deal comes at Poseidon's tower. Here you have two water slides with a tube for big groups (like 3 to 6 people) which are really awesome and two simple body slides. The most frightening one is called Poseidon's Revenge where you practically stand on a glass window that opens under you and you start the slide in a freefall. That is the craziest slide I have ever been. For the other body slide at this tower I would advise against, because it hurt the skin on my back more and more after every slide.
Other things to do for free in the water park are having fun on the public beach or trying out the go around water or you can choose to opt in for some other experiences but you have to pay extra. These experiences include some dolphin shows, a zipline and some others I don't remember.
In terms of the meal deal you can do any restaurant inside a food court, but with restricted choices. For us, this wasn't a problem, but it's good to know beforehand.
Finally, I mentioned that the ticket included entry to the Lost Chambers aquarium. I think that one is also aorth visiting. It comes with some great views of the huge aquarium and the variety of fishes and sharks is just amazing.

I have been to Aquaventure with my friends every weekend for the past month and it’s always such a fun day out. With my annual pass, which I just renewed, it is amazing value for money as well. It’s the perfect way to spend a hot summer day, as the water is nicely chilled and for a lot of the rides, the queue is in the shade. We went at opening time and there wasn’t a big queue to get in and the staff were very kind and helpful in the ticketing area and it was very well organised.
I have to say I am so impressed with the new tower of rides and slides and they make a brilliant addition to what was already an awesome water park. I always think the lifeguards at this water park are phenomenal as well. They really seem to know their job and they are vigilant and I feel totally safe in their capable hands. They are also very helpful, as is everyone I have met around the park. I have known Steven Schady for a long time and it was fantastic to see him working at the park now too. He is always happy to see me and he checks everything is good. He makes me feel very welcome as a guest. It’s always nice to know he’s around in case I need anything, as I know he would be there straight away and he would sort me out. As I go often, I have also got to know some other staff members well, especially Deepak and Maurice from the Guest Services Team. They always welcome me with a huge smile and offer to assist if I should need anything at all. This all helps make Aquaventure such a great place to go, as it feels like you have a family there!
Regarding the rides, for me, in the new tower, Blackout is awesome, so is shockwave and the cliff jumping is a must as well. Vortex is a thrill with a surprise at the end as you fall out into deep water! I also enjoy the surfing and my favourite ride if all time is the Leap of Faith!
The whole day at Atlantis is also just special because of where it is. The views while you are waiting of the hotel, the palm and the rest of the water park is so nice. We ate at Baracuda for lunch which has a while range of different types of food to choose from and used my annual pass discount. It was also indoors and a welcome break from the midday intense heat! I can recommend pool shoes during the summer months to protect your feet and they do sell them there.
If you’re looking for an outstanding day out with family or friends - or both, this is the place to be for sure. It’s the best water park I’ve been to and the staff make it even better.

We enjoyed rides in the park, Lost chambers was also good. Please plan to buy your tickets online , if you buy tickets at the park they are expensive. Bring your towels they charge money to rent towels, I think towels should be free. Any thing you want to buy around the park is ridiculously expensive . we paid $140 for 7 burgers which is $20 for each.They have zip line in the park which is not included in the ticket , it costs Around $35 per person.
P.S: Please bring all the swim ware , towels etc don’t buy anything at park, buy tickets online .

We have been in the water park many times it is a great family day out. We generally always book a cabana this time was very disappointing the cabana was in a very busy area with people hanging there stuff all over it and pushing beds up against it. Also the menu has now changed, you used to be able to order from all the restaurants to the cabana now the menu is very small with mainly fast food. We also paid for fast track passes but there was big queues and allowing everyone without a pass in front. Has put us off coming back. Very expensive and disappointing.

The park is nice located with direct access trough the Atlantis Hotel on The Palm.
Attractions are funny but to stay in the line and wait for more than half hour is not that nice because people are looking undercooled. So it's recommended to buy a Expresstickets, that cost extra. The lockers are not included in the admission and so you have to stay another time in a line to buy the access to the locker for additional extra price. Instead to announce this on the cash desk, you have to fugre out yourself in cas you don't know about it. In addition, there are a lot of snack bars where you cn buy refreshments, ice and others. If you don't want to run around with money or credit card, you can have a charge on your admission with this you are able to get booked all your amounts on your wrsit band you don't need to take your credit card or money with you. But again, no announcements at the cash desk, you have to know about it.

A really good day ! There is no end to the amount of fun to be had trying all the different 'rides'. Neither of us was brave enough to take the vertical chute but there is exhilaration and excitement to be found everywhere and should you need it, there are sun-loungers at different locations, along with food stalls and restaurant should you need lunch! There are lockers for all your belongings and it is better not to take footwear, caps or sunglasses, unless they have cords, as the water chutes will remove them ..... Plenty of suncream is advisable (we found P20 or Piz Buin 1 Day cover ideal) an earlier breakfast is a good idea as by opening time 10:00 you will find it all go go go!

Brilliant park, stayed in atlantis took us 2 days to get around , I travelled with a 6 and 13 year old. my 6year old is 1.25 metre and for all rides in the towers need to be 1.2 so he got on everything which was ideal. It took us 2 days to get around the park including the smaller lagoons, river rapids ect.. If only planning going to the park for 1 days and kids are above 1.2 metre i would recommend going to Neptune, poisoden and trident tower ( the best and newest tower) and skipping everything else. This is where the biggest thrills in the park are. Also i would advise buying a aquaexpress pass slightly dearer , but saves queing which can be long on busy rides up to 40minutes and being able to go on multiple times.

This really pains me to write such a negative review since we have visited Aquaventure many times and always had the best day out. We visited between Christmas and New Year 2021 knowing full well that it would be busy but were happy to spend a lot of time on the lazy river and maybe not do too many rides as the crowds began to build. However, the length of the queues for the slides were not the issue, but how the queues were managed. It seems that many people had Aquaexpress (fast pass) wristbands and because some of the rides do not separate out the fast passes from the regular riders from the start, the fast passers spend their day pushing through the queue to get to the front. Not only does this mean social distancing goes out of the window despite the signage, obviously no one at a waterpark is expected to wear a mask.
One group managed to separate us from our daughter by pushing past us and took offence when I pointed this out saying 'we paid AED400 for these wristbands' as if that was an excuse. The staff looked overwhelmed, one security guard said he felt that too many fast passes had been sold that day.
Also had a grim experience in Shark Bites restaurant, 30 mins for fast food to be served, some people had waited an hour and were demanding refunds.
Altlantis: you know how busy you are likely to be based on the occupancy of the hotel, customers who quite rightly should have priority as entrance is included in the accommodation rate. So, why then sell more tickets to non residents like us OR allow huge fast pass sales if you are not going to manage the system properly?

We stayed at the Atlantis so the waterpark is part of our stay. We also had the go city dubai pass which we used to got tickets as well and gave to someone as this place is extremely expensive for only a day and a few waterside. Since wisconsin dells is close to our home the waterpark capital of the world I'm very rehearsed in this and this place seems small. Went on almost all the water slides expect for Poseidon it seemed to have issues every time we attempted to go. So we didnt think it was worth it. Found it odd that lockers weren't included in the tickets so we just left out clothes and sandals on a bench. Also the Rapids were closed when we went so we got through the park quickly in only 3.5 hours. Overall glad we got to experience it as this is one of the well known attractions in the area. See for yourself and enjoy. Also dont forget you have to bring your tube up yourself they don't have machines that pull them up so it can get tiring. But definitely go have fun.

are the cabana prices per cabana or per person as i have had a quote back for 995AED

Est ce qu’il faut prévoir des serviettes de plage où sont elles fournies ?

Si vous allez en zone privée avec transat (de mémoire 100 aed par personne à payer en supplément) les serviettes sont comprises sinon non. Par contre, on vous donne des chaussons pour marcher. Et pour le casier c'est 50 aed en supplément.

I’ve read that ‘normal swimwear’ needs to be worn for the slides/rides at the waterpark. Can someone define what that is? I will not be wearing speedos. Are Hawaiian shorts ok? Or basketball shorts!

I’m not sure what’s “normal swimwear” to be worn. There are some fast rides, you might end up loosing your costume perhaps? I didn’t think there was any “cover up “ issues as some ladies we’re wearing almost nothing but that will hurt on the fast slides. Other than that I was comfortable wearing bikini. Again, if you are a person cover up too much , that might get stuck on the slides as well. Hope this explanation helps.
