Dinner on the Alexandra was lovely. The cruise was romantic in the Marina with all the other Dhow boats lit up and the the fabulous high rises in full glory at night. Dubai is truly special with the night lights. The female singer was brilliant and the traditional male dancer was fenomenal. Service and organization impeccable. Only downside was the food, which was less than mediocre. The red wine was served freezing cold and the soft drinks were very poor quality.

its such a beautiful experience cruising through the skyline, watching various cruises and yacht passing by, 2 hours ride through these beautiful skyscrapers is awesome.
Came to the creek and climb aboard beautifully decorated traditional dhow. we will be served delicious traditional Arabic, Indian and international dishes
This boat trip is ideal for getting together for friends and families. We sat at the top deck and had a great view of Dubai by night.
The peaceful environment is ideal for a getaway plan with your relatives as well as the perfect place to take your partners

The atmosphere started us with modern music mostly American. Table settings included cloth tablecloths and napkins. We asked to turn down the music and some speakers were turned off next to us
The menu is limited. The worst was requesting a beer. We specifically asked what beer and the server only replied it was a house beer. My father in law and I ordered a beer each. To my amazement two red Budweiser cans were delivered. My father in law received a glass and I did not. There are a few different cuisines provided on the buffet: Italian, Indian and Russian (i.e. beef stroganoff). The food options remind of Restaurant Depot back home in Northern Virginia where one can pick a ready frozen meal.
There was some kind of ridiculous show. A rather short fellow spinned around in some kind of lit up dress for twenty minutes. He asked guests to put on the lighted dress and spin or just do something. It was very cheesy.
The boat ride was dull to me. you can see sights along the creek. If you don't mind being held hostage on the boat from 9pm to 10:45pm.

Booked a sunset dinner cruise. Not a great selection of food. Very disappointing choices. Be careful of drinks menu, we were charged double the price for Baileys as to what was noted on the drinks menu. When I questioned it they said they gave me a double shot. So it was double the price of what was on the menu. If I knew this I wouldn’t have ordered it. Also, we had to pay cash. So make sure you have plenty of cash with you for drinks! They are not willing to take card payment.

Rather disappointing overall, food was served up buffet style before we’d even left dock so it was eaten before passing many of the views.
Food was basic and not very inspiring at all. Definitely did not justify the cost overall .
Staff were pleasant but standing over customers writing out customer review forms is poor.
This isn’t a ‘must-do’ in my opinion .

Dhow Cruise in Dubai Marina must be in your top priority list of activities if you are visiting Dubai. To make things better, choose one of the quality operators in the space of which Alexandra Dhow Cruise is certainly one of them. The whole experience was well curated and the staff of the cruise take good care of the guest. The dinner served on board may not be of 5 star quality and standard but is certainly not bad. The dance program on board is restricted to the single Tanoura dance item. Overall, a good experience enhanced by the sight of the Dubai skyscrappers and the ferries wheel all lit up make it once in a lifetime experience.

Highly recommended i had an amazing time enjoying the views and relaxing breeze from the sea . Food was great drinks also r in a reasonable price .

Our servers Imran and Syed could not have been more professional and courteous. The dancer put on quote a show. The price is good and I would recommend.

The food was delicious. The entertainment was good.
However we purchased the
unlimited alcohol package and was only able to get one drink because there was no mixed drinks with very little options to mix with it. So unless you want straight liquor it wasnt a good option. The only beer they offered was budwiser. The house champagne was on the list of things we could get with the package online but when when the waiter brought the list, house champagne was under premium. The camera guy gave a vertical picture in an horizontal frame which looks awful and we paid $28.00 usd for it. It was so hot upstairs and there weren't any fans which would've helped. I've been on several boat rides all over the world. This was the worst one I've experienced, especially for the money we paid. This would not be a must do in my opinion.

The Dhow cruise has 3 primary things to offer: a nice dinner, a dance show on the upper deck and a beautiful cruise through Dubai. If you don't mind experiencing these 3 things solo, you should be fine.
As far as seating is concerned, I remember it being a first-come-first-served system. So if you are among the first guests getting on the boat, then you can choose to sit wherever you want.
