What to expect
Depart your Dubai hotel by climate-controlled vehicle and relax as you travel southward to Abu Dhabi. Stop first at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the world’s biggest mosques; it's capable of accommodating 40,000 worshippers. Tour this modern masterpiece before continuing to the city center to visit the Heritage Village, an outdoor museum celebrating Abu Dhabi’s original Bedouin culture. Explore the Bedouin displays and old souk replica, and after photo stops at the Emirates Palace hotel and Arabian boat (dhow) harbor, pass skyscrapers and beaches along the Corniche on a drive to the top of the breakwater. Soak in the city skyline from here before heading for Saadiyat Island to see its cutting-edge cultural buildings. If you’ve upgraded, visit the stunning new Louvre Abu Dhabi museum. Tour was good, Abu Dhabi nice, tour guide not good

Booked tour via Travelux, good communication and itinerary possible as requested. However, tour guide seems to be hired form somewhere else and was not really interested. We visited places as requested but the guide was clearly not aware of what was agreed. We paid for the golden coffee at the Emirates Palace hotel, but didn't get that. At Qasr Al Watan the guide didn't come with us because he had to pay for ticket. Same for Etihad Towers, had to pay for tickets ourselves and guide came later to the observation deck. As it was National Day there was an air show, he could have planned that in. Furthermore little to no explanation or guiding. Guide was constanlty offering other tours in which we were not interested, but he kept on asking. Last, but certainly not least, on the way back the guide was tired and we were scared during the drive back to Dubai, totally not acceptable! We paid USD 580, which is very expensive. This is ofcourse is no problem, but we also paid a lot extra. Because of this and the dangerous driving I can only come to an low average rating.
