About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- heidij1890 contributionsGreat tour company - very reliableWe used this guide for a five day tour in Laos. We were so well looked after the entire time from airport to airport. All food, tours and guides were helpful and friendly. Would recommendWritten December 1, 2024

- 460jantines0 contributionsHorrible experience, we got stuck for the whole dayCannot recommend. We got up very early to be ready to get on the bus. We were waiting and waiting.. driver said he was on the way, read my updates about the pickup spot, but did not reply. Then the tour operator messages me that the driver and bus has been taken and brought to the police station. They offered no solution other than getting us on a bus the next day - which was not possible for us. Then they promised a refund, which i did NOT get. This was 55 dollars, much above average for a trip from Luang Prabang to vieng viang. A professional business should have more than one minivan. Eventually we booked another van with another company, which was also very bad. They put as much as possible people on one bus - much more than 14 and you have to sit for 7 hours without even a back rest - while i have cancer in my spinal canal with a lot of pain, they wanted me put on a stool. I could not do that. Then i was kicked off the bus and has to wait another 4 hours for the next. And we even still don't know if it will even show up. My recommendation: book in advance, book a train ticket to vang vieng or vientiane 4 days ahead. So not use these buses, they are horrible.Written October 20, 2024
- rww5620 contributionsFun time are the buffalo farmI got the upgrade tour which included a cheese plate and ice cream. It was a good show of the student m different flavors and textures buffalo milk can achieve. The tour included information about the farm, a chance to milk, brush, and interact with water buffalo as well and bunnies and pigs. It was very informative of the farm itself but also some of the issues farmers in the area have. The highlight was feeding the greedy teenage buffalos. I can't say that they were charming, but they were definitely cute.Written October 20, 2024
- robinsQ7454XO0 contributionsHighly recommend this tour. Our Guide Mr Sak was superb.Your name: Luang Probang Pak Ou Caves & half day city tour. This was an amazing and interesting tour: Mekong River Cruise, cave of Buddhas, Palace Museum, temples and Old Town Luang Prabang. Our guide, Mr Sak, was far and above one of the best guides we have had a chance to spend the day with. He is gifted with knowledge, a great memory, a great sense of humor, and an easy way about him. At every locale he shared information about the places, historical facts, and answered every question we had. We loved this tour. The cruise was relaxing but also we saw birds, Asian elephants and children on their way to school-on boats! Everything we saw, experienced, and tasted was brought to a new understanding through this tour and our guide Mr. Sak. The local lunch we had was at a restaurant located along the Mekong River. It had a great view of the river, boats, barges and ferries. The food was excellent with offerings of rice, vegetables, and a soup. The main course we chose was water buffalo sausage and a whole deep fried fish. It was absolutely delicious. It also fortified us for the afternoon walking tours of the Museums, temples, and Old Town. Photo section on this app is not friendly. I have tried to post my personal photos. This app will not let me. I keep removing photos so this will post. The app just says some photos will not post. No idea why. No idea which ones.Written September 7, 2024

- 882faep0 contributionsVientiane Whole Day City TourThis tour made our first trip to Laos very memorable. We were able to visit all the noteable sights in the city. Our tour guide Tifi was very knowledgeable and friendly. She had a lot of fun trivia to share. Part of the tour was lunch at a traditional Lao restaurant. We discovered how much we liked Lao food. :)Written August 9, 2024

- letgoleash0 contributionsPutting the slow in slow boatThis was a special experience to drift down the Mekong River and take in the sights. It was special to see all the kiddos from different villages bathing and playing in the river as we drifted past and see farmers riding their elephants. I would suggest bringing plenty of food, water, and snacks. Also, be prepared to be very hot. If you are a person that is able to relax and enjoy it for what it is, it was lovely. However, I have friends that did the same experience a few days before me and completely hated the experience. I don't think it's for everyone.Written May 31, 2024
- Pulledpork480 contributionsIron man insurance bus ride in hellI booked this in great faith. We left at 6pm and was told it would take 24/25 hours. Two hours in the bus broke down in the middle of now where ,it took about 45 minutes to fix. The roads with pot holes are bad in the uk but nothing could prepare you for their pot holes, when going over one you sometimes came out of your seat, or sleeping you would be woken banging your head like in a boxing ring. The staff didn't speak any English just shouted and pointed. I am 5 ft 11 and it was tight, someone on there at 6ft 4 had to sleep with his legs hanging put. There was no toilets or charging points by your seat only a couple at the front of the bus. We stopped a few times mainly for the driver and his team to have a fag so was just random no pre planning. No toilet on board like I said so whatever you do don't eat spicy food the day before as you will be in a bit of trouble.when we did stop sometimes no toilets so poor girls had to squat on the side.of the road.stopped at a garage they only had the toilets you squat over so be warned not pleasant at all. Reclining chairs not great and some went so far back I couldn't put my legs out straight from the person in front of me. Made one stop for food in laos only crisps and that sort of thing. My error that I didn't take any dong so when we stopped in vietnam couldn't buy anything, so take some that that there is anything decent to buy, I put one of my shoes on in the bus, the driver then knocked the other out of my hand and shouted, bit stressful I simply forgot. When we got to the boarder I saw the driver giving one of the officials a little back hander of money so not sure what that was about. Along the way we made lots of stops to ether pick up food to be transported, but then locals then started getting on and sitting in the middle of the bus and when you got off they didn't even more out of the way. We had four hours to go and had to change buses. It was two in a bed so if you like sleeping with a stranger you will be in the right place, the locals they had a bed to themselves, funny that. More people got on we had another 4 hours to go. We arrive at 11pm so 29hours. I did it for the experience so you don't have to, it was a shame as I had been on buses before in thailand and they were great, organized stops with nice toilets and food stalls. My advice look it to this but don't be disappointed when an old different bus turns up. My advice if you can fly it will take 1hour 10minutes but if on a budget you will get there and it will be a storey to tell for Along time.Written May 10, 2024
- JULIE F0 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic trip!!!We booked this day trip through Laos Tour Group in Labang Prabang and it was fantastic! Picked up at 8am then in an aircon minivan went to a local village which was very interesting. Then we went to the Bear sanctuary, waterfalls ( sooooooo beautiful). A long drive, but interesting scenery, ( and lots of cold water from Mr Pong) and we got to the Elephant Sanctuary where you can feed the elephant and then have a beautiful buffet lunch by the river. Then you go on a slow boat up the river to the beautiful Buddha caves and climb the 300 steps, great view of the Mekong. Then we went to a whiskey place for samples of rice whiskey. Mr Pong is so interesting and the whole trip was excellent. We would recommend booking through this travel group 10/10!!!!Written May 8, 2024
- alexkmin0 contributionsThey forgot about usI was in contact with Tony Phong starting a few weeks prior to our tour (Kayaking to Pak Ou caves, Villages and Kuang Si Falls). The initial process was professional with confirmation of the date, payment, and confirmation of our pickup time. This included multiple email exchanges. The reason for the 1 star was on the day of pickup, after the agreed on pickup time went by, I contacted Tony via WhatsApp inquiring on the delay. I had to remind him that I did book through this company which he appeared to have forgotten. They then called about 15 minutes afterwards saying the tour was cancelled and offered another tour instead. This tour was standard but appeared to be from multiple tours that were cancelled as the poor tour guide was asking everyone what their original itinerary was. Communication was the main factor that was disappointing. When he called, there was also no apology. He only stated that the tour was cancelled. Be aware that this can happen when booking with this company.Written April 8, 2024

This was a lovely evening experience on the river. The food was pentiful and of relatively good quality. There were several courses. It was good value for money but not sensational dining. The boat is licensed to sell alcoholic drinks to accompany dinner.
It was lovely watching the sunset over the river, while other little craft sailed past and riberbank life went on. A pleasant opportunity to step outside the busyness of toen for a couple of hours.
On board entertainment was pleasant and comprised a group of traditional Lao musicians and three beautiful dancers who changed their costumes three times to match the dances they were showing us.
The staff were kind and accommodating in moving table settings around to match our party.
There was pick up from the hotel but I made my own way back. Can't remember if a drop off was offered but it was a gorgeous evening and after all the lovely food, I enjoyed the walk.
