- 220alexanderw0 contributionsGreat day-trip from KarachiFantastic day trip to Chaukhandi graveyard, Malki necropolis and Shah Jahan's mosque. - JohnS2670 contributionsA great guide with knowledge and advice beyond the 2 toursWe did 2 tours with Fahd, food, and Unesco sites. Both tours were great. Fahd was also much more than a good guide. He was also helpful and knowledgeable beyond the tour. I would certainly reach out to Fahd again for another trip to Pakistan. For the food tour, Fahd did not just take us to famous Burns Road. We went first to the harbor area to sample seafood, then to Burns Road, and finally to a posh area for tea. All the while we weren't just talking about food but about culture and politics of the country too. In just a few hours I learned so much in addition to trying lots of great food. On the Unesco sites tour, Fahd's knowledge and experience really showed. At both Chaukhandi Tombs and Makli Necropolis we didn't get a memorized speech. We got thoughtful explanations based on what we were interested in. Fahd has great relationships with local staff at the sites so we got great access for a full experience. Fahd was also super helpful, offering advice for the rest of our trip (and I can now report that he was right). He's also a great driver, and as a bonus sent dozens of photos he took of us.Written September 26, 2024
- T4979PTandreasw0 contributionsUNESCO sites near KarachiAmazing tour! Much to see and learn in around Karachi. The UNESCO sites are really worth to visit. Fahd is a great guy who knows much about his country, its history and culture. He picked me up at the airport and brought me to my hotel in Karachi - great service and hospitality at all! Fully recommend this tour!Written September 16, 2024
- Hasan Ali H0 contributionsWowThe UNESCO World Heritage Tour in Karachi offers a fascinating glimpse into the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. Key sites include the impressive Mohenjo-Daro, an ancient Indus Valley Civilization city, and the beautiful colonial architecture of the Karachi Port Trust Building. The tour is well-organized, providing insightful information about each site’s historical significance. However, it can be quite crowded, and navigating through the urban areas can be challenging. Despite these minor drawbacks, it’s a must-do for history enthusiasts and those interested in Karachi's heritage.Written August 25, 2024
- Kai F0 contributionsGreat TourVery good tour guide and interesting places to see!! I learned a lot about the history and different dynasties in Pakistan.Written August 6, 2024
- Sofiamoon0 contributionsVery educational and professional tourIt was very educational tour. The guide was very professional and the car was clean and new , had proper AC all the way (some tour cars don’t turne on AC to save gas or car is too old to turn it on) I learned so much of Karachi in such a short time. I’m so glad that I took this tour.Written June 25, 2024
- jenniferwU9926PV0 contributionsUnmissable!Any history buffs visiting Karachi should book this tour right away. You’ll see some of the most unique grave sites in the world, and really be able to appreciate them with the help of Fahd’s knowledge of their history. You’ll see wonderful examples of Mughal design, as well as design from older empires. The stop to see the Shah Jahan Mosque and its beautiful tile work in Thatta is something special too.Written June 10, 2024
- jenniferwU9926PV0 contributionsThis tour is a must for KarachiKarachi feels like such a chaotic and overwhelming city so having a good guide makes all the difference. I can’t recommend Fahd more: you’ll visit the best known sites and with his knowledge, learn so much about how they fit into the fabric of the city. You’ll also get to see the lesser known parts, giving you a look at Karachi that few outsiders get to take.Written June 10, 2024
- N1259NZadamz0 contributionsExcellent tourI had an excellent tour of Karachi and its surroundings. Fahad is very professional and I appreciate the individual approach.Written June 7, 2024
