Picked up on time from my hotel in an aging small Chev, driver in front, guide & me in the back, rather cramped. Reached El Alamein in good time via a detour to New Alamein. Museum & Commonwealth Cemetery excellent, sufficient time allowed to explore both. Didn't see the German Cemetery as advertised but not important to me. I had booked lunch as part of the tour however that turned out to be back in Alexandria, not at El Alamein, where the guide & driver left me on my own in the cafe, then dropped me back at the hotel afterwards, so maybe don't bother with booking lunch & just do your own thing after the tour.

This was an experience like no other! [History Guy]… the amount of detail and explanation of the catacombs, the citadel, mosque monger other places you’ll see on this trip is amazing. The largest library in the world to be included. Our driver was Sayed Mohy, -SUPER AWESOME -and our tour guide Shirehan (might be spelled wrong…(Im sorry) was phenomenal as well. She took her time explaining and the information was able to be taken in and understood. Please book this and if you can request both to please escort you!!! Also ate at the fish market that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea!

The tour was great! We started off at Garbage City then to St. Simon Monastery; an incredible Coptic Church, hand carved into the side of a massive mountain ⛰️ From here it was on to the Coptic area of Cairo; which included The Hagging church, St. George s church and the Ben Ezra Synogue; all of which were amazingly Beautiful structures. We ended with a delicious Egptian lunch. We also had the pleasure as our guide Sayed Mahmoud who was truly Great!! Our driver Shady, also a great guy and very Kool behind the wheel. Thanks guys!! Go Egypt!!!

Had a great day in Alexandria with my tour guide Eriny. We visited many landmarks in Alexandria. She explained many details with patience.

Eriny was our tour guide. She was kind, sweet and knowledgeable. Alexandria is a beautiful place with amazing history. Eriny was very organized and helpful. I certainly recommend this trip without any reservations. There was some delay at the pick up at Marriott in Cairo. We felt disconnected due to language barrier and I think it would be helpful if the driver could have made some effort to explain what the problem was. Some room for improvement for future trips!

I booked a private tour with Emo Tours Egypt in December 2022 for a day trip from Cairo to Alexandria. This private tour included myself and my elderly parents. Our driver, Ali, promptly showed up to our hotel at 8am. Ali was awesome. He made stops for coffee, food and bathroom breaks without question. The evening drive back to Cairo from Alexandria was equally pleasant. I want to add that Ali is also respectful of elderly folks, and made sure my parents were as comfortable as they could be. It’s a long drive (~ 2.5-3 hours one way) and Ali is cognizant of that so he tries to entertain you as best he can, but only if the passengers are open to it. When we reached the first site at Alexandria, we met both the company’s manager and our tour guide, Eriny. Eriny was our guide for multiple sites, which were the Catacombs of Kom Al Shoqafa, the Pompey Pillar, the Roman Amphitheater, the Qaitbay Fortress, and the Alexandria Library. This is pretty much everything you need to see in Alexandria. Eriny is extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history, which includes Alexandria’s historical sites. Eriny was also conscious of my elderly parents and was like a virtual daughter to them for the duration of the tour. She even obliged my mom’s request to visit an Egyptian sweet shop, and did not make any attempts to sell us any third-party service or product - can’t tell you how much of a refreshing blessing this is. I have only positive notes to write about Emo Tours Egypt and would most definitely retain their services again, and highly recommend them to other tourists - especially Americans (given how annoyingly particular we can be). P.S. I had to choose the option of traveling with family (young children) cause that was the closest option available. However, it was my elderly parents who were traveling with me.

Irini was a fantastic guide. We saw all the major landmarks of the city such as the citadel and the catacombs. Would book again.

We had an amazing day with our guide, Eriny Fahmi. Super knowledgeable, took us to the most beautiful places in Alexandria and finished the day with the best lunch ever. Definitely will come back to visit Alexandria again!

We went to a daily tour to Alexandria from Giza. We were picked up in front of our Giza hotel by the driver who took about 2 hours to arrive in the city but had to drive nearly an extra hour through traffic. We were greeted by our friendly tour guide, Eriny Fahmy, who took us first the Alexandria library, then to the Roman Amphitheater, later to the Catacombs to be followed by the temple of Pompey and finally the Citadel of Qaitbay. She was excellent at explaining as she had a good command of English and is well trained as a tour guide, therefore was able to answer all of our questions and even made some suggestions on how to make our overall Egyptian experience more pleasant. I told her she was the best tour guide we had had in Egypt. We recommend this tour greatly if you are looking forward to visiting the sites of Alexandria from the Cairo or Giza and especially if you have limited time. Otherwise, an overnight stay in the city would let you enjoy each site with more time. As I write this review we are yet to be dropped off back to the hotel but we are confident that that will go as smoothly as the rest of the trip as well.

We had a wonderful time with our guide, Rania! She was so motherly and very knowledgeable. Our tour was the private tour to the Egyptian museum, pyramids, lunch and Bazaar and was worth every cent! Although I felt unwell, Rania took care of us and made us feel comfortable! I will always remember this day. The tour was fantastic and we enjoy every bit of it! ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed my day out in Alexandria with my knowledgeable guide Eriny Fahmy and excellent driver Ashraf. We visited all the top spots on a beautiful day in Alexandria and as Eriny studied Egyptology was provided with informed commentary about each site and artifact we came across. It was great to bypass all the tour buses and big groups and go from place to place with ease. Definitely recommend going through Emo tours for a hassle free and professional experience.
