Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly guide. Full day experience. We saw many birds, plants and beautiful waterways and lakes. The vastness of the delta was awe-inspiring. We enjoyed the visit and substantial homemade traditional lunch on island. Highly recommended, great value for money.

Discover Danube Delta was a unique and unforgettable experience. Iliuta was an outstanding guide, who made sure to answer everyone’s questions and cater to the group’s needs. Moreover, his knowledge of the wildlife and history of the Danube Delta was not only beyond impressive, but also entertaining. The small size of the group is ideal, as one can completely enjoy and immersive themselves in this experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in exploring and learning about the Danube Delta or to anyone who is looking for an out of the ordinary experience.

We went on a full day trip with guide Marius and boat driver Paul. Started 5:30 am, back by 15:00. It was above and beyond my expectations, and the knowledge of Marius, from the ID challenges of Caspian Gulls versus Yellow-legged, to finding Syrian Woodpecker (a photo species need I had).

Totally awesome trip. We were out the whole day and Bogdan, the guide showed us the Beauty of the danube delta! We saw Eagles, Pelicans, kingfishers and many more! Highly recommend this tour!

We had a 4 days/3 nights package. Everything was great, the tours, the guide, the accommodation, the food. If you want to enjoy the scenery I think is best to plan a trip of minimum 2 days. There’s so much to see, it must not be done in a rush.

Booked a private birdwatching tour for a solo traveller for 6days & it was a marvellous tour that exceeded the expectations in many ways The guide/owner Iliuta is a very knowledgable & passionate photographer who knew the delta, its birds & the history - so took some amazing bird shots, mainly the pelicans. Even while steering the boat safely, the guide Ionut was able to spot the birds quite from some distance which was helpful too. Mila23 village experience & the wild horses photography in Letea were unexpected & wonderful. Due to the booking done by me at very short notice, the accommodation though quite safe & comfortable was not exceptional compared to the other parts of the trip, it was manageable. All in all, was a marvellous experience & would recommend for bird enthusiasts (even for solo female travellers) & anyone who is interested in nature trips & relaxation.

My wife and I joined several friends for a trip to the Danube delta prior to a conference in Bucharest. It was coordinated by Ilie (Sorry if misspelled !) and one of his driver guides. It was an amazing photo tour of the incredible biodiversity of the delta - truly one of the most unique areas of the world. Our guides were not only familiar with the natural history of the flora and fauna of the delta but were also expert at photographing the migratory and resident birdlife. The lodging was arranged at a wonderful boutique hotel in Mila 23 that served delicious family style meals for our group. My only regret was that I did not bring my best camera for the trip and that we couldn't make our trip longer.

The boat trip was great! Saw lots of birds which the boat driver explained well. The wild horses were also spectacular. Visit to Letia and lunch was great. The Land Rover trip to a ‘forest’ could have been left out of itinerary. Instead- would have preferred to carry on to Simula

We (a family of 4) took the 3 night, 4 day birdwatching and Letea tour. Victor was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable about birds, local flora and fauna and the history of the region. We saw so many birds- two types of pelican, kingfishers, white tipped sea eagles, a hobby,not to mention snakes, a jackal and the wild horses. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The guesthouse - Alexandra and Alexandru- was spotlessly clean with very hard working staff. The swimming pool was a very welcome extra after hot days out in the delta. Vegetarian food was provided on request and was both plentiful and delicious. An added bonus was the singing and dancing provided one evening by local performers. Overall we were very impressed- the tour was exactly as described. Very well organised with a high standard of facilites and clear explanations throughout. We absolutely loved our time in the delta! Thank you.

The trip was simply amazing. The views are astonishing and the guide was really well informed and always keen on sharing some extra info and funny stories. The lunch at the village was extremely tasty. Generally the whole experience was totally worth the price and I am really happy that we chose this tour.

This was the highlight of our holidays!!! Wonderfully organized tour, all day in the channels of the delta, super friendly and funny, with a lot of knowledge about wildlife. So mayne birds, 2 sea eagles above our boat included. Just WOW!

We did the full day tour from Tulcea to Letea and return. This included the boat and ‘safari’ section. We had an amazing day and it was one of our highlights of our trip to Romania. Victor was our guide and he was excellent from start to finish. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and so passionate about the region and its beautiful nature and ecosystems. He taught us so much and even let us use his binoculars to get a closer look at interesting things. We saw so many species of birds and wild horses etc. The lunch in Letea was great too, we loved the fish soup and the sweets at the end were some of the best we had. The only advice I would give to people interested in doing the tour is make sure to pack some sunscreen and a hat! It is a long time on the water in the sun, so as long as you go prepared you will have a great time and follow the tips that the guide posts on their website! Thank you again Victor!!

Favorite part : the whole trip!! We discovered Danube Delta it was an absolute trip, feom early morning till near sunset on stupendous channels, speechless,...also the tour guide exquisite. We will never forget and by all means come back. Thank you.
