Lovely day out to the mentioned places which I would not have been able to cover on my own without a car. Viscri was charming and so was the rest of the tour.

We had a great day exploring the Transfagarasan Highway with Tibby. It is quite a long day but totally worth it to see the highway and Balea Lake. There were lots of opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy the wonderful scenery. We also stopped at a dam and even saw some bears at the side of the road! This was a special extra treat as obviously not part of the planned tour. We passed the fortress but it was closed so we didn't go up. But we stopped at the bottom of Bran Castle and learnt a bit about the history. We also enjoyed seeing a lot of life in rural Romania as we passed through the countryside. We had a few stops for refreshments along the way and we enjoyed some traditional food for lunch at a buffet style restaurant recommended by Tibby. Tibby was a very safe driver (needed to be on all those hairpin bends) and always ensured we made the most of the day. Thank you Tibby for a great day!

This was our third time trying to see wild bears, and the third time really is the charm!! We saw a total of 4 bears, 3 of them at the same time which was incredible. Our guide was super knowledgeable, telling us about the bears and other wildlife. He was also very attentive to their safety and making sure that our presence didn't disturb these beautiful creatures. This was an incredible experience.

We continued through the woods all the way up to Piatra Mare hut and Piatra Mare peak. The views from there are fantastic. Hiking with Marian is always a pleasure. Strongly recommend!

I had an easy hiking day with excellent guide Alexandru in the Zarnesti gorge and around the villages of Magura and Pestera. I recommend this as a great way to see and experience this area around Brasov, particularly if you are not driving.

A trip to the Transylvannia region is simply incomplete without visiting these villages. Our guide Mihai was really nice and told us a lot about the destination, which included several destinations in the area including fortresses and towns. Well worth a visit!

Wow! What an experience, after an hour of waiting we see 3 bears come out and eat some berries! Along with a fox ,great views, nice clean hut with chairs an amazing once in life time day

A really great tour. Karòly is a real friendly and cunning guide with great info about local history. Feels like they really care about giving you a great day experiencing these interesting sites. The tour is a really great way to visit these three sites in one day, which otherwise is really hard to do. Would recommend to anyone remotely interested in history!

It was amazing! Our guide was so nice and we even saw young bears with their mother. We would absolutely recommend it!

Fantastic experience! We saw one bear as soon as we reached the hut. In total we were lucky enough to see five individuals, including a 200kg male as well as a mother and cub, not to mention a couple of foxes, over the two-and-a-half-hour session. Our guide, Alin, was terrific. He speaks excellent English and shared his broad knowledge of the brown bears and the local area while driving us to and from the site. An trip to remember!

I was lucky to have a guide who tailored the all according to my physical capabilities. The tour was informative and I experienced the Romanian national parks. Communication was excellent. A great day.

What a great day - lovely sites with the added bonus of the singing guide . He made it a very enjoyable day. Very knowledgeable about the area and history. Stopped at a lovely restaurant for local food. Went out of way to make it a memorable time . Highly recommended

We had a really great trip out from Braşov to the bear hide. Lady luck was definitely on our side as we saw 4 bears, mum and 2 teenagers, solo and together and then a large black male. Our guide was knowledgeable and gave us lots of comments on the bears. Definitely worth doing!

Our tour was simply fantastic. Dan, our guide, was personable, knows the history of the churches, fortresses and villages well, and took a genuine interest in us.  He also took us to some extra places, including a monastery and volcano. Dan made the trip enjoyable with his singing, restaurant choice and dialog with us.  We highly recommend this tour if you are interested in history
