Loved the guides who were so nice and the heritage sites are really worth a visit! The frescoes are gorgeous and quite the special sight. The bus was super smooth and convenient.

Really enjoyed the trip to Rila and Boyana Church. Maria was a fantastic guide. The location of the monastery is beautifully located in a mountain valley. One mistake I made was to not bring enough warm layers. There was no place to get warm at the monastery except the bus so I was kicking myself that I didn't dress warmer. Other than that, it was a great day trip.

My friends and I had a terrible experience during this tour. To begin, they did not notify us that one of us was put on a different bus, and the 5 other of us were placed on the same one, despite using the same exact link. 3 of us did not end up going and 3 of us still did. Then, our tour guide, Simon Sokolov, was incredibly rude to the 3 of us the entire day we were on the bus and visiting the Rila Monastery. He kept making rude remarks, especially after we decided we didn’t want to do the Boyana Church. We were NEVER notified that we needed to bring extra cash to get into the Church on top of the money we already paid for the tour. He was rude to us about not having cash, and then when we said we were probably going to leave early, he ignored that I told him we were leaving, and just repeated that we “needed to tell him if we left or they would have to look for us” as if he didn’t even want us there, or did not care to look for us. Needless to say, we left early, and I wish we hadn’t gone at all.

The monestary was such a cool place to go, but the tour guides were incredibly disrespectful. Simon Sokolov, my tour guide, was rude to my friends and I over and over again. Trying to upsell us, charging more for the church than is required at the door, giving us attitude when we were trying to be nothing but kinds. Apart from the tour guides, the actual places were amazing, the guides just made my experience less than optimal.

My visit to Rila Monastery and Boyana Church was an unforgettable experience. The guide was excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting facts, not just at the sites but also throughout the journey. Rila Monastery’s stunning frescoes and peaceful mountain setting were breathtaking, while Boyana Church’s medieval frescoes were a true hidden gem. The tour was well-organized, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Rila Monastery was so impressive. We were lucky with the weather and we were able to be solitary, very few tourists. Got a lot of interesting information.

The guide Simon was very good and made the visit very enjoyable. The monastery is a must for visiting Bulgaria.We enjoyed that there were a few people at monastery so we can see the frescos better.

A great day out when staying in Sofia! Our guide, Tuni, was informative and friendly. My mother and I were the only two English speaking people on the tour, but he still made sure to explain everything again to us and guide us around the monastery. The bus journey was quite long but with some beautiful sights that made it worth it. The pick-up point was easy to find, with good communication ahead of the trip.

Very nice and well organized daily trip to Plovdiv! Our guide, Tuni, was really kind and nice and he was explaining and showing to us everything! He really did his best for us to enjoy the city and the day! By the way , Plovdiv was unexpectedly beautiful! Definitely recommended to take that trip when you are in Sofia!

Tuni was a great and entertaining guide. We enjoyed the trip very much with my 15 years old son despite the rain. Plovdiv is very nice and worth to visit.

We really enjoyed the Plovdiv experience! Our guides Tuni and Simeon were incredibly gracious and accommodating. The guides were great fun and provided very good information and spots to see. It was commuting to the sites with them and we were lucky to also enjoy lunch together. Highly recommended and we felt it was easier to do this trip than to hire a car and self direct. This was a great tour and I cannot say enough good things about Simeone who was funny, passionate, knowledgeable, and a great guide. Only thing is that it seemed long because he was essentially running two tours - one in English and one in Italian. So he’d take half the group and do their tour and then do the second half. If we were all just speaking one language I think it would have been a shorter day. But highly recommended and do pay for the guide. The monastery was beautiful and the church was as well.

Rima monastery, Rilska, fsmoyse ,big, special psint8ng ..în the mounting Rila 1104 m..the valley and the hill also named rila...but less moonks, and less English speaking..but the please is must to seee!!! I am orthodox, forever under God help.and protection...glad ro be there
