About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- violet28980 contributionsGreat tour guide Ivanka! Our tour guide Ivanka was wonderful!! She was so knowledgeable with very good English and allowed us to customise the tour to our preference. It was very cold but she made sure we went into a number of indoor locations to make the tour a little easier so thank you!Written January 7, 2020
- Dommy20130 contributionsDon't Go to Ukraine Withouth Them!I've reviewed the folks at InLviv once before, but want to do so again, b/c they just keep getting better. This was the first time I've used them for making travel arrangements outside Lviv itself (Kyiv, Zhitomyr, & Rivne), & they did, as always, a super job. Everything they arranged went just as requested. So whatever you need for your travels in Ukraine, be sure to contaact Oksana & let them handle it for you. Prices are very reasonable, too. You will be pleased.Written October 22, 2018
- manfredwe0 contributionsHiking Trip HoverlaWe wanted to climb Mt. Hoverla and InLviv was able to organize the tour at short notice. Oksana was very competent and planned everything according to our preferences. The tour went very well, all from our group of four reached the peak and got back down safely. The on site guide Petros (Peter) was very good and made our hike very enjoyable.Written September 13, 2018
- Anne G0 contributionsA fabulous tour with IvankaWe organised with InLviv to undertake a private tour of Jewish Lviv with a guide. Ivanka came and collected us from our apartment. We walked two hours around the sights of Jewish Lviv and then were taken around by car for three hours to some of the outlying sights. Ivanka was extremely knowledgable but easy to relate to. She was clearly passionate about her subject matter and she was a fantastic tour guide. We would have no hesitation about recommending this tour with Ivanka. It was easy to organise and well worth it, for anyone interested in the Jewish history of LvivWritten June 13, 2018
- Frank_Marty0 contributionsPerfect for your private tourWe stayed 10 days in and around Lviv and Chernivtsi and did several tours with InLviv, all of them perfectly and professionally organised and operated. Apart from the recomendable Yewish tour in Lviv (with a highly knowledgeable and perfectly German speaking guide) we did tours to Brody/ the impressive Pocajiv Monastry / and scenic though somewhat crumbling Pidhirci castle and to Zovka and Krechiv monastry which is romantic and fun since you can also make a short hike through the wood to eremite caves and a holly well. Also, they arranged a two day tour for us to Chernivtsi with overnight stay in beautiful Ivano Frankivsk, which gave us the chance to see a bit of the Carpathians. Tours were with a private van and driver. Drivers were flexible and responsive (though hardly English speaking), all cars in good shape. Their office works highly professionally, responsive and super helpful (thanks to Oksana!). In all, if you plan to visit Lviv and Western Ukraine, you will find InLviv to be a perfect partner for all tours you may want to do and arrangements you need. Tip 1: train tickets can easily be bought online with the official Ukrainian train company. Tip 2: take a driver and do not drive yourself unless you can at least read Cyrillic, and roads are often bad. Tip 3: go to Lviv, it's breathtakingly beautiful!Written May 5, 2018
- Tatiana R0 contributionsAmazing tour with IvankaWe had a great two hours of sightseeing started from Lviv Opera theatre throughout the main streets. I would express my emotions about this tour with Ivanka - we had not only a historical description but together with fine sense of humor and it was really nice. Thanks Ivanka!!!!!!!! Totally recommend.Written April 25, 2018
- zubenkoanastasia0 contributionsGreat thanks to the guide Ivanka! We booked a Lviv city tour in English for a group of 13 people: Ukrainians, Russians, Germans and Poles. Everyone was so excited about Ivanka that even didn't want to say goodbye to her! She used jokes, interesting stories so even those who was in Lviv many times were listening carefully. I was on Paris, Dresden and many other European city tours, but Lviv city tour with Ivanka was unequal! I can recommend it to people in business trip for sure.Written April 23, 2018
- Liliya S0 contributionsIvanka ever best guide in the worldThanks a lot, Ivanka, for just amazing 2 hours tour in Lviv! We listened like hipnotized to your stories. Great sense of humor, deep knowledge of history and buildings, orientation for audience, good accents, passionWritten April 18, 2018
- S0undandFury0 contributionsUnforgettable trek in the CarpathiansWe booked a guided trek up Mount Parashka in the Carpathians, just a two hour train ride from Lviv. Oksana was very helpful and responsive in helping us organise everything via email, and put us in touch with a local outdoor equipment store to get some much-needed trekking gaiters - we did not expect there to still be that much snow in the mountains in April! Taras, our guide, met us at our hostel early in the morning and off we went. Throughout the trek, he was an absolute delight to be with and told us about the region's flora and fauna, as well as its history as a key area for partisan resistance during World War II. We did not end up making it to the very top due to adverse weather, but managed a decent 1200 metres and felt that we were in very safe hands throughout it all. All in all, it was a very memorable and utterly exhausting day - exactly what we were after. Would definitely recommend - although wait until June if you expect a leisurely stroll through green meadows!Written April 7, 2018
- Roberto F0 contributionsGreat introduction to LvivI had planned the visit to lovely Lvov in the last minute and got in touch with inlviv. They can care for endless needs of the traveller. I chose the worst date, Last minute, and 2 days before 1st of may (national holiday). Anyway. they managed to find me a suitable slot for me, a private tour as soon as I arrived by train. I had a private tour, almost 3 hours, in the afternoon evening, and was amazing. Tereza had a good knowledge of the city's history and showed me the most important places of it. She also gave me advices about best places to eat, and her choice was very good. the t-bone steak served in Mons Pius was excellent. So thank you Tereza!Written May 22, 2017
- Gabriele S0 contributionsGreat tour with IvankaWe took a 2-hour private tour around the city with Ivanka. It was really great, interesting, and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Lviv!Written April 3, 2017

- Dommy20130 contributionsIndispensable in Lviv!We have used the services of InLviv for 3 years in a row now, passing through on our way to central Ukraine. Having traveled to Ukraine for the past 25 years, I can tell you the services of InLviv are exceptional. These folks can do it all, & they do it well, providing hotel arrangements, airport pickup, long-distance & local transportation, translators & guides, tours of the Lviv area, etc. Drivers are always right on time, & translator/guides for the Old City tour are very friendly & knowledgeable. And, their prices are extremely reasonable. Just tell Tereza what you want/need, & it will happen. She always answers emails quickly. Especially if you're traveling with a group (as I've always done), you need & will enjoy the services of InLviv.Written October 27, 2016
- TigerResident0 contributionsBravo for Solomiya!Awesome tour today given by my tour guide Solomiya. Now i'm spoiled. I want all my guides to have PhD's. I called InLviv and emailed them and they got back to me within a few hours of my email letting me know that the 11 am tour was in Ukrainian, but they could organize an english speaking guide. I responded by email and my guilde, Solomiya showed up at the appointed time. We went 3 hours (300 UH / hour = $12 / hour) and got one of the best tours i have ever had. She knew everything you could imagine about Ukrainian history, art and politics and also whatever i wanted to know about Lviv. It was a great 3 hour tour, and i was never bored. I'd recommend these guys highly, especially ask for Solomiya!Written August 11, 2016
- Rinse-and-Repeat0 contributionsThe best!We used In Lviv to help us with the Ukraine segment of a 3 week trip through Eastern Europe - we ended up booking accommodation, transfers and and an ethno tour with them. From my very first enquiry, Anastasiya was helpful and professional, she responded to emails quickly, gave good advice and did everything possible to make our trip run smoothly. Our drivers arrived promptly and Anastasiya was especially helpful in arranging a late checkout for us. We booked an apartment on Rynok Square, which I believe was probably the best located accommodation in the city! Although there's always something going on in the square, we were never disturbed by noise and with at least 20 bars, cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk, we never went hungry either. The apartment was well equipped for self catering, spacious and next to a tram stop, which made it very convenient for exploring. We also booked an Ethnotour in the Carpathian mountains, which we'll remember forever. Volodomyr, our host and his family made us very welcome during our 3 day stay and we were given an idea of what life is like, and has been like, in a Hutsul village. We had some memorable meals with the family - and one or two where my main recollection is of singing and horilka (the local vodka). It's perhaps a little strange to return to work saying that one of the high points of your holiday has been making salt and milking a cow, but why go on holiday unless you're going to do something different? For anyone who likes something a little unusual, the Ethnotour is a must. We're already planning to return to Lviv next year and I will definitely be using this firm to arrange accommodation and any transport we need. Highly recommended.Written July 24, 2016
