Yesterday my family and I did a private tour with Filip and it was perhaps one of the best tour experiences we’ve ever had. Filip was personable, charismatic and accommodating throughout the entire day. His passion for Croatia shone through as he taught us so much about the history, culture and even fun facts about both Croatia and Montenegro. Perast and Kotor were both breaktaking in their respective ways, and the highlights were the boat tour around the two islands (Lady of the Rock) and the picturesque view of the bay and city of Kotor. Filip capped off a wonderful tour with “a hidden gem” for a late lunch/early dinner. Whenever you are in Dubrovnik, I highly recommend doing a day tour in Montenegro and doing so with Filip. Thank you so much Filip!

We decided to book a private tour to Kotor with Dubrovnik Day Tours and haven’t regretted our choice. Ivo and Josip have been very patient and helpful with answering all our questions in advance. They were always answering really quick and gave very helpful advices of what is possible from our wishes and what not.
Due to this we new excatly what to expect and we have been very satisfied with the tour and the first impression we got of the Kotor bay region. Filip, our driver and guide, was so kind and thoughtful. He made sure that we had a wonderful day. During the day he gave us so many interesting historical infomation of this region as well as useful tips of how to get the best out of the day. Along the way we made plenty of stops where we had beautiful views of the Kotor bay and we could see how the scenery changed during the day.
Our highlight at this tour was definitely Perast, where we enjoyed having a piece of Almond cake (speciality in Perast) with coffee and a nice boat ride afterwards, and Filip’s recommendation for having an early dinner at the end of the day. Kotor was beautiful and it is worth a visit. Another great tip from Filip was to visit the farmers market right outside of Kotors old town, where you could try and buy local products like different cheeses and ham (e.g. like Prosciutto).
If you want to see and explore the Kotor bay region in depth, you definetly need to spend a couple of days there. But if you want to get a first impression and spend a wonderful day there, we can highly recommend a privat tour with Dubrovnik Day Tours. And if you already know what you definetely want to see on this day, they will make sure that the itinary is customized to your wishes.
So thanks again to Filip for a wonderful day and to Ivo and Josip for your help and advices in advance to the tour.

We booked through Josip and he was great. He worked through all our Covid reschedules with ease and made sure we had required documentation to cross the border into Montenegro and back into Croatia.
Filip, our driver, was outstanding. He had such passion, pride and unbelievable knowledge of history to share with us on this incredibly picturesque part of the world.

We booked a private tour for 3 people to Montenegro. We knew it was a private tour but didn’t expect to have such a thorough tour guide who was so knowledgeable and passionate about Croatia! Our tour guide Filip drove the three of us in a comfortable car to Perast, Kotor, Montenegro with several nice stops in between. The scenery was spectacular with Filip telling us about everything in the area and it’s history. We had an the best meal of our trip in an idyllic setting at a restaurant he recommended.
Filip made sure we captured the trip at every stop with him taking photos of us at all the great places we visited. It was a disappointment the trip had to end because we truly had a magical time!
I would recommend him as a tour guide to anyone visiting Croatia and plan to use him when we return.

We had an amazing time with Filip driving along the gorgeous Bay of Kotor and taking plenty of postcard-worthy photos.
The highlights of our trip were exploring the charming little town of Perast and climbing the historic walls of Kotor. Filip was very knowledgeable and shared interesting nuggets about every stop along the way, even introducing a market stall where we could find the famed Njeguski prosciutto.
We would highly recommend engaging Filip for anyone taking a tour not just around Dubrovnik but in the surrounding regions.

I don’t post reviews often, but whoever wants to have an amazing time and memories that would last a lifetime should definitely visit Montenegro with a one of a kind professional such as Filip. My mother and I took a private tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. We are still taking about our experience and showing pictures to all friends and families. Filip is one dedicated professional that chose to do the job he truly loves. His passion and love for his job makes us (tourists) get the best experience ever. His knowledge, charisma, friendly and polite manner added to the whole of the unforgettable day we had. Filip took us to breathtaking panoramic views of the country, educated on the history and landmarks of the country without “overdoing it” if you know what I mean lol. I’m addition, he took us to a unique restaurant, a magical gem that he discovered. We LOVED it. Don’t take my word for it and go experience for yourself. You will thank me later. Thank you Filip❤️.

We had a wonderful day with Miho. This day trip was organized through Unforgettable Croatia Cruises and it is well worth it. Great experience with sites, history, scenery, and wine tasting. Miho, in particular, was not only knowledgeable, but he was very friendly, honest, and easy to be with for an entire day. Strongly recommend this tour and ask for Miho.

This all-day tour into Montenegro was easy to book, affordable, and pretty much exactly as promised. I have no regrets using Doria and would book with them again any time.
Our guide and driver, Ivo Tomic, was remarkably knowledgeable, courteous and punctual.

Filip was a fantastic guide, incredibly experienced, knowledgable and informative. We very much enjoyed learning about Balkan history.
Our boarder crossing was very smooth because it was outside the peak season and Fillip chose a smaller and more scenic boarder crossing to avoid any big groups.
Filip was also very kind in allowing to customize our trip, allowing us to spend more time in Perast, Kotor and doing a little boat tour around the lady of the rocks.
Fillip gave us great recommendations for food and restaurants and took us to some amazing photo spots.
Montenegro is an incredibly scenic country, a definite must see. (day tour with Filip is a minimum, would recommend staying one night.)

We had four adults that did a very full day private Montenegro tour with Ivo. He was fabulous!!! From the moment he picked us up in Dubrovnik, he was providing us with a wealth of knowledge about the areas we were visiting and their history. We customized the trip a bit and fit a lot into one day. We started at 6am and were dropped off back in Dubrovnik a little before 8pm. It was a great day. We saw so much, including a visit to the mausoleum, a 90 minute boat ride on Lake Skadar, a stop in Kotor and a short trip out to Our Lady of the Rocks. We have friends that will be visiting Dubrovnik next year and we are definitely recommending Dubrovnik Day Tours. Thanks again Ivo!!!!
