Gain appreciation for this great city
We took this tour - 2 adults, 3 children - as an introduction to the city. We learned a great deal and gained new appreciation for the impressive history. My favorite aspect was Vlaho's personal connection to the city and its history in his own life. He even aided is in getting a taxi to run an errand and bring us back.
I highly recommend this tour if you want to see the city as more than just a tourist.

First Hand
We loved the time we spent with Vlaho. His depth and sharing of the long local history was excellent and engaging. But his descriptions of his first hand experiences from the early 1990s were truly moving. He patiently answered our many questions about the complex situation which gave rise to the war and its devastating consequences for Dubrovnik. Highly recommended and greatly appreciated!

Interesting personal guide to Dubrovnik

Recommend this tour with Vlaho. He kept my 2 teenage boys (and us adults!) engaged. It is his home town and he gave us his experiences of his life during the war. Fantastic English and answered any question we asked. Took us to a fantastic shop selling Croatian treats. A great experience and increased our knowledge of a beautiful place.

Excellent Tour

Mia was fun and informative. She paced our tour well and also helped us with travel arrangements to and from our hotel. She knew the best ways to minimise the queue for the cable car and we particularly enjoyed the war museum and her memories and explanations from the homeland war in the early 1990's. I would strongly recommend her for other travellers.
